P&O Cruises uses pound sterling as its onboard currency, with all purchases charged to your cashless onboard account. After completing online check-in, available 21 days before departure, you can download and print your cruise tickets and luggage labels. Cabins feature standard UK plug sockets, so adaptors are not normally required. P&O Cruises also offers accessible cabins across the fleet, medical centres staffed by doctors and nurses, laundry and dry-cleaning services (for an additional charge), and the Peninsular Club loyalty programme, which you can continue to enjoy when booking through Destination2Cruise.

P&O Cruises includes a wide range of entertainment in your fare, from West End-style theatre shows and live music to cinema screenings, quizzes, bingo and acrobatic performances. Most seven-night cruises feature two Black Tie Nights, with longer sailings offering more formal evenings alongside Evening Casual nights. Basic gratuities are included in your fare, while any additional tipping is entirely at your discretion. Wi-Fi packages can be purchased before or during your cruise, and smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

P&O Cruises caters for a wide variety of dietary requirements when advised at the time of booking, including vegetarian, vegan and other specialist diets. Guests may bring one litre of wine or champagne per person at embarkation, although corkage charges apply if consumed in public areas. The minimum drinking age is generally 18 (21 in US ports), with limited exceptions for 16 and 17-year-olds dining with a parent or guardian. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the buffet and cabins, while room service is available throughout the day, with complimentary meals during main dining hours and a charge for overnight service.

Family-friendly entertainment includes outdoor cinemas, splash zones, swimming pools, soft play, discos and games, all included in your fare. Children's menus created in partnership with Annabel Karmel MBE are available, and cots, baby baths, refrigerators, highchairs and complimentary baby food can be arranged on eligible ships with advance notice.

No. Shore excursions are available at an additional cost. P&O Cruises allows guests to pre-book excursions from 12 weeks before departure, with bookings available up to three days before sailing, often at a discounted price. After this point, any remaining excursions can be booked onboard at the standard price.
