Medical centres staffed 24 hours a day are available on every ship, with treatment charged separately. Wi-Fi packages can be purchased before or during your cruise, while laundry facilities and valet laundry services are available on most ships. Carnival offers a huge range of complimentary entertainment, including live music, Playlist Productions shows, karaoke, poolside movies and interactive game shows. Cruises of five nights or fewer include one Cruise Elegant evening, while longer cruises feature at least two. Most evenings follow a Cruise Casual dress code, with themed events such as White Night and 80s Rock-N-Glow parties on selected sailings. Daily gratuities can either be prepaid before departure or added automatically to your Sail & Sign account, while additional service charges apply to selected purchases. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas and selected casino areas. Carnival also offers accessible cabins, wheelchair-friendly routes, pool lifts on many ships and a range of assistance services for guests with reduced mobility.

Carnival caters for a variety of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten-free, low-fat and low-cholesterol diets, with guests encouraged to let Destination2Cruise know of their needs at the time of booking. Complimentary afternoon tea is served daily, while 24-hour room service is available, with complimentary continental breakfast offered between 6am and 10am. Guests aged 21 or over may bring one unopened 750ml bottle of wine or champagne per person onboard at embarkation. The minimum drinking age is 21 on cruises departing the USA and 18 on cruises sailing from Europe or Australia. There are no 24-hour restaurants, but pizza delivery is available around the clock through the Carnival Hub app for a small delivery fee.

Yes. Carnival is one of the most family-friendly cruise lines, offering dedicated children's clubs and activities for all ages. Camp Ocean welcomes children aged 2 to 11, while dedicated programmes and lounges cater for older children and teenagers. Most youth activities, including kids' clubs, water slides, mini golf and Dive-In Movies, are included in the cruise fare, while premium attractions such as IMAX, Sky Zone and the roller coaster are available for an additional charge. Complimentary cots, highchairs and booster seats are available on request, and pushchairs can be hired onboard. Children's menus are widely available, and although there are no dedicated children's pools, youngsters who are toilet trained are welcome to use the main pools.

Shore excursions are not included in your cruise fare and are available at an additional cost. Excursions can be pre-booked through Carnival's Manage My Booking portal up until 11:59pm (Eastern Time) on the night before your cruise departs, or purchased onboard through your Sail & Sign account, subject to availability.
