Exhilarating experiences, fascinating cultures, jaw-dropping sights and divine cuisines await as you discover dazzling destinations both near and far. Offering itineraries that take in ports of call all around Europe, in Canada, the Caribbean and North Africa, an adventure aboard an Ambassador ship promises to exceed every expectation. As well as being able to explore a host of enchanting places and enjoy a variety of enriching excursions, you’ll also get to immerse yourself in a life of luxury while out at sea. You’ll be wined, dined, entertained and inspired every step of your voyage, with plenty of options for both relaxation and recreation. You’ll also be treated to delightful accommodation, allowing you to feel right at home for the duration of your luxury cruise holiday.
Enjoy authentic dishes served in elegant surroundings whenever you dine on your luxury Ambassador cruise holiday. Meals are carefully crafted, with menus full of culinary creations inspired by itineraries. Traditional afternoon high teas are also on offer, as well as lavish six-course gala dinners alongside your captain. If that’s not enough to satisfy your cravings, you’ll find a selection of sensational speciality dining destinations. Choose from flavoursome Indian fusion cuisine, premium steak and grill favourites or a multi-course feast created by the executive chef. Special dietary requirements are also catered for, ensuring there’s food to please all palates on an Ambassador cruise holiday.
All onboard purchases are charged in Pound Sterling through your onboard account, making the ship cashless. After submitting your Advance Passenger Information (API) via the My Ambassador Sailing portal or app (up to 90 days before departure), you'll be able to download your tickets and luggage labels. Cabins are fitted with UK three-pin plug sockets, so UK travellers won't need an adaptor. Wi-Fi packages can be purchased once onboard, and medical facilities are available, with any treatment charged to your onboard account. Self-service laundry facilities are also available for an additional fee.
Entertainment includes live theatre productions, music, dancing, quizzes, interactive games and more, with the full programme delivered to your cabin each day. Cruises lasting more than six nights usually include two gala or formal nights. On formal evenings, guests are encouraged to dress smartly, with suits or jackets for gentlemen and evening wear for ladies, while some restaurants also require smart dress on other evenings. Daily gratuities are automatically added to your onboard account, with reduced rates for children aged 12 to 17, although additional cash tips are entirely optional. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Guests with reduced mobility should note that Ambience offers more accessible cabins than Ambition.
Ambassador caters for a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-fat, low-salt, sugar-free and low-cholesterol diets, provided Destination2Cruise is notified at least four weeks before departure. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in your cabin and at selected venues throughout the ship. Twenty-four-hour room service is available for an additional charge, although there are no 24-hour restaurants onboard. Guests may not bring alcohol onboard, with any alcohol purchased ashore stored until the end of the cruise. Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed by guests aged 18 and over.
Although Ambassador is aimed primarily at adult guests, families are welcome onboard. There are no dedicated children's clubs or entertainment programmes, even on multi-generational sailings. Cots can be provided for infants on request, subject to availability, so it's recommended to reserve one before travelling.
Shore excursions, known as Destination Experiences, are not included in your cruise fare and are charged to your onboard account. Before your cruise, Ambassador will contact you with details of the available excursions and prices, allowing you to pre-book your preferred experiences before you sail.
