You’ll dine in style throughout your voyage of discovery with Explorer Journeys, with gastronomic delights galore to tantalise your taste buds. The company is committed to bringing personality, sophistication and a dash of soul to dining at sea. The venues which will wow you with delicious fare include a Pan Asian restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, a steakhouse and an international restaurant presenting cosmopolitan flavour and aromas from around the globe. You’ll also discover a Chef’s Kitchen offering a unique culinary experience which invites you to prepare exquisite meals with the help of talented on-board chefs. In-suite dining allows you to enjoy delicious fare in the comfort of your own private space, poolside dining lets you enjoy an alfresco meal with a beautiful ocean backdrop and a wonderful concept restaurant allows up-and-coming chefs to showcase their talents. Your ship will also feature a gelateria and creperie.
On Explora Journeys, all onboard prices are displayed in euros. You can link a credit card to your onboard account and conveniently pay in your preferred currency at the end of your voyage. All gratuities are included in your cruise fare, although you're welcome to recognise exceptional service with an additional cash tip if you wish.
Explora Journeys offers a relaxed luxury atmosphere with entertainment included in your fare, such as films in the Conservatory, live music, DJ parties and intimate performances. There are no formal nights onboard, but evenings follow an elegant resort casual dress code. After 6pm, shorts, sleeveless shirts, baseball caps and sportswear aren't permitted in the dining venues, while swimwear and bathrobes should only be worn in outdoor areas and the lobby.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout every Explora Journeys ship and in all suites. Online check-in opens 90 days before departure, after which your cruise documents are issued electronically, with luggage labels provided at the port terminal. Suites feature European and North American power outlets, and your suite host can provide adaptors if required. Guests can also use self-service launderettes with irons or take advantage of the 24-hour valet and pressing service for an additional charge.
Explora Journeys offers accessible suites and a selection of wheelchair-friendly Destination Experiences. Every ship has a medical centre where the onboard team can provide first aid and treatment for minor illnesses. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas and the Observation Lounge, while smoking in suites and on private balconies is not permitted.
The legal drinking age on Explora Journeys is 18 or 21, depending on your departure port, with sailings from the United States, Canada and the Caribbean requiring guests to be at least 21 to consume alcohol. Explora Journeys welcomes guests of all ages, with family-friendly facilities available onboard, making it easy for couples, families and multi-generational groups to enjoy a luxury cruise experience.
