A team of talented chefs on this wonderful cruise line will deliver gastronomic delights which will satisfy the most discerning palate. You'll dine in style on a HX Expeditions cruise ship, with superb restaurants offering amazing ocean views during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything from casual fast food to à la carte dining is available, depending on your choice of cruise ship. Soft drinks, complimentary still and sparkling water are included with all meals. Coffee, tea, and potable water that has been purified on board is included throughout the day. An upgraded beverage package is also available. Some ships also offer a takeaway service to enable you to dine in your suite.
Travel documents are usually issued around 30 days before departure. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas, although coverage may be limited depending on your location. Cabins feature 220V two-pin continental sockets, so you'll need to bring a suitable adaptor. Every HX Expeditions ship also has a medical centre staffed by a doctor and nurse, while laundry services are available for an additional charge.
On HX Expeditions, onboard prices are displayed in Norwegian kroner. Tipping is not expected, but if you wish to recognise exceptional service, a tip box is available at reception. Frequent travellers can also join the HX Explorers Loyalty Programme, earning rewards, discounts and exclusive offers that remain valid when booking through Destination2Cruise.
HX Expeditions offers a relaxed expedition-style experience with no formal nights and a casual dress code throughout your voyage. Entertainment focuses on discovery, with science centres, lecture halls and expert-led presentations helping you learn about the destinations you visit, while the onboard bars and lounges provide comfortable spaces to unwind.
All HX Expeditions ships offer accessible cabins with adapted bathrooms and mobility features. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas, with fines issued for smoking in cabins or on private balconies. Children under five years old cannot sail on expedition cruises, and guests under 12 are not permitted to participate in shore excursions.
HX Expeditions provides accessible accommodation and onboard facilities for guests with reduced mobility. If you require additional assistance or an accessible cabin, you should advise Destination2Cruise when booking so the most suitable arrangements can be made before your expedition begins.
