All onboard purchases are charged in US Dollars through your onboard account. After checking in via My Cunard at least 21 days before departure, you'll be able to download your boarding pass and luggage labels. Cabins are equipped with UK, US and European plug sockets, so most guests won't need an adaptor. Wi-Fi packages can be purchased before or during your voyage, while medical centres staffed by qualified doctors and nurses are available on every ship (charges apply). Cunard also offers self-service launderettes and wet-cleaning services, and returning guests can enjoy benefits through the Cunard World Club loyalty programme. Accessible staterooms and wheelchair-friendly shore experiences are available, with guests advised to complete the Onboard Needs Questionnaire as soon as possible prior to sailing and no later than 14 days before departure. If you do have a disability or medical requirement, please let Destination2Cruise know at the time of booking.
Cunard is renowned for its elegant onboard atmosphere, with complimentary entertainment including West End-style productions, live music, classical recitals, cinema screenings and afternoon games. From 6pm, the dress code changes from casual to smart, while voyages of seven nights or longer usually include two gala nights, often with themed dress such as Black & White or Roaring Twenties. Daily gratuities are automatically added to your onboard account, with additional service charges applying to beverages, spa and salon purchases. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, with all staterooms, balconies and most indoor venues remaining smoke-free.
Cunard caters for a wide range of dietary requirements, offering vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-fat, low-salt, low-sugar, Halal and Kosher meals when requested at the time of booking. Guests may bring one 750ml bottle of wine or champagne per person, which may be enjoyed in their stateroom free of charge or in public venues for a corkage fee. The minimum drinking age is 18, increasing to 21 while sailing in US waters. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities are provided in every cabin, alongside Cunard's famous daily Afternoon Tea. Complimentary room service is also available throughout your voyage, including breakfast served in your cabin.
