Dining on an Emerald Cruises river voyage promises to be an absolute delight. You’ll feast on the finest cuisine, dine in exquisite venues and be waited on by attentive crew members. Every meal is inspired by the region you are visiting and prepared using ingredients sourced from local suppliers. You’ll also get to enjoy a selection of complimentary beverages during breakfast, lunch and dinner, elevating your dining pleasure even more. A variety of refreshing tipples are also available in the bars and lounges, with a number of superb drinks packages on offer to enhance your experience further.
Depending on your itinerary, onboard purchases are charged in either euros or US dollars. Most Emerald Cruises ships operate a cashless onboard account, allowing you to charge purchases throughout your cruise and settle your account before disembarkation.
Your fare includes a range of entertainment such as an onboard cinema, evening shows in the Horizon Bar, putting green activities and games on the sun deck. The dress code is generally informal throughout the cruise, although the Welcome and Farewell Dinners provide an opportunity to dress more formally if you wish.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship, and laundry services are offered for an additional charge, with selected suite guests receiving a limited complimentary allowance. Travel documents are typically sent two to four weeks before departure, and cabins are fitted with 220V European and Universal sockets, so you'll need to bring a suitable travel adaptor.
Accessibility varies depending on the ship. Luxury yachts offer lift access to all decks, while Star-Ships have limited accessibility, with the Sun Deck only accessible via stairs. There are no onboard medical facilities, so local emergency services are contacted if medical assistance is required. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Gratuities are included in your cruise fare. Guests under the age of 21 must travel with an adult sharing the same accommodation, and children under 12 are not permitted onboard.
