Nina at the front desk was able to have our room ready before check-in time. She customized our anniversary buttons to say 11 years together. She was kind, informative and truly has a passion for the role. Thank you, Nina for setting the tone of our stay. Everything else was great. Resort was clean, pool was great and drinks at the bar were strong. Michelle at Guest Services granted us a late check-out extension which allowed us to leave the room comfortably. Staying here was one of our best experiences at Universal Resort living here for the past seven years. We will only stay at this resort for as long as our annual passes gives us the discount!

We had an excellent experience for our two night stay at the hotel. The location was convenient for our event at the Orange County Convention Center. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious, and we had a great view of EPIC Universe. The food in the hotel restaurant was not only good tasting, but a good value. The lobby bar has some great cocktails. We even took advantage of the in-room dining twice. The pool has a hot tub, life jackets, and lifeguards - and a fire pit area. I also liked that it was not a big as some of the other value resorts, so it didn’t feel too crowded. I would absolutely return to this resort. It exceeded my expectations.

Our stay at Universal Terra Luna Resort started off on a positive note. The Hispanic gentleman helping with luggage was outstanding. He was friendly, welcoming, and even walked to our car to help load our luggage onto the cart. He made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience didn't live up to that. At check-in, the employee assisting me spoke so softly that I could barely hear her over the loud lobby music and crowd. I mentioned several times that I couldn't hear her, but instead of speaking louder, she simply replied, "I know," and continued talking quietly. She quickly handed me our room keys, rushed through the process, and sent me to another desk to pick up our Universal tickets. At the ticket desk, there were four employees standing around chatting. When I walked up, no one acknowledged me at first, and I felt like I was interrupting their conversation. The employee who eventually helped me even joined in the personal conversation while assisting me. It was very unprofessional. She printed our paper tickets but never offered ticket lanyards, which would have been extremely helpful since it rained so much during our visit. When I asked where to park, I again felt like I was bothering her. While we were at the parks, I received a text saying I needed to return to the hotel to leave a credit card on file for the room deposit. It was obvious this had been missed during check-in. We returned to the hotel, provided the credit card, and also paid for parking. One bright spot was the café. The food was good, service was quick, and we really enjoyed the burgers and pizza. The following day, we returned from the parks around midday to shower and rest, only to discover that none of our four room keys worked. We had to go all the way back down from the fifth floor to the front desk. The employee, Tyler reset all of our keys, but then asked me for a credit card on file again—even though I had already provided it the day before. This showed another lack of communication between staff members. Fortunately, the new room keys worked. The resort buses were excellent and made transportation to the parks easy. However, the overall customer service left a lot to be desired. There seemed to be poor communication between employees, and several staff members made us feel like we were inconveniencing them simply by asking normal questions. The resort itself has potential, it is very pretty and clean but based on our experience, the customer service needs significant improvement. Unfortunately, by the end of our stay, we were simply ready to go home.

A beautiful lobby and halls, comfortable beds, gorgeous zero-entry pool, and automatic lights make this a standout hotel! The one odd complaint I have is there was only one tiny trash can in the bathroom, and none other to be found in the room. Otherwise, this property is impeccable! Highly recommended if you're going to Epic Universe. It's right down the road, and they offer free shuttle service every 15 minutes.

We spent 4 days, 3 nights at the hotel. It is such a pretty multi colored tiles hotel. It is inviting to the eyes and a breakaway from the monotony of hotels. It is a budget hotel, but exceeds expectations. The lobby is spacious and nice. The staff are warm and welcoming. They have a marketplace, a bar area and a merchandise place in the lobby. There is a vacation planning desk and a luggage desk in the lobby as well. The rooms are clean and themed on space. However, housekeeping happens every alternate day. The rooms have a mini fridge, a smart TV, hair dryer and standard beds. They provide shampoo conditioner, face soaps, but no shower gel and moisturizer- make sure you carry your own. The pool is nice too. The luggage service area also helps charge your electric scooters overnight, other than storing your luggage. Staff are polite and welcoming. They are knowledgeable too if you need help with planning your days at the theme park.
