We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights during our New Year’s trip to Disney World and had a very pleasant experience. The room was a good size and offered beautiful views from both sides — one overlooking the lake and the other facing the city. It made our stay feel bright and relaxing. Housekeeping came every 3 nights to clean and replenish the room, which worked well for us during a long stay. Breakfast was served early with simple, basic options. Just a note: if you arrive later in the morning, there may not be much left since items aren’t refilled. For the price and the hotel’s proximity to Disney World, we felt it was absolutely worth it. It provided comfortable living at a reasonable rate, which is perfect for families spending most of their time in the parks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and budget‑friendly place to stay in Orlando.

Location (if you are there for disney/universal) is excellent. Rooms (at least in the newly renovated part of the hotel) are really good. Clean, confortable, spacious and well equipped. Pros: Free and very large parking lot. If you get a lake side room, the view is really nice. Cons: Breakfast could be improved. Too many people and not enough food if you go after 8am. Food offer at breakfast could also be wider. The pool area is ok but after 11am it stops getting any sunlight. Some of the hotel staff members can be rude or unwilling. The overall experience was really good but consider we were mostly out of the room all day and did not use hotel hospitalities at all.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, I will definitely be coming back! I drove down to Florida for the holidays and stayed with my family in a beautiful room overlooking Universal. I enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning before heading out to the park, and it was so close that we could just walk over! With the free breakfasts and parking, clean rooms, proximity to the parks and nearby restaurants, you definitely get your moneys worth here.

Well, we went to this hotel, and from the very beginning the experience was unpleasant. At check-in, the receptionist was grumpy, unhappy, and gave the impression that she truly did not want to be there or deal with guests. When we got to the room, it was quiet at first and a bit small, but we accepted that and went to sleep. That’s when the real problem started. The air conditioner is positioned directly aiming at the head of the bed. On top of that, when the AC runs, it makes an extremely loud, mechanical noise — like an industrial air motor filling the entire room. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible. We are the type of guests who try to be understanding. We didn’t complain immediately or record videos. We told ourselves, “It is what it is,” since we were mostly just sleeping there and traveling onward. However, on the second and third nights (we stayed three nights total), the noise was so bad that I had to use noise-canceling headphones just to sleep. Breakfast was another major disappointment. The food quality was terrible. Mostly overcooked, very hard-boiled items and lots of dry, bread-heavy options. The breakfast area itself is large, but the food and coffee quality are extremely poor — to the point where you don’t even want to taste it. The flavor is genuinely unpleasant. There was also no room cleaning service at all during our entire stay, even though there were three full days when cleaning could have been done. We let that slide as well. On the final day, when checking out, we politely mentioned our experience with the extremely noisy air conditioner. Instead of concern or professionalism, the receptionist responded with an angry, dismissive attitude — basically making it clear that they did not care. It felt like, “We heard you, but we don’t care.” Because of this overall experience, I will never stay here again, and I strongly encourage others not to stay here either. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location close to Universal Park. That is literally the only advantage. Other than that, this is a horrible, trashy hotel with poor service, bad food, uncomfortable rooms, and staff who clearly do not care about guests. Stay away.

My team and I stayed here during the AAO conference and I don't need to wait for it to end to give my rating. Wayne & Brian are great! Best part of our stay, it's hard to find personalities like theirs. They are personable, helpful and have exceptional customer service. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable. Also, the staff in the breakfast were extremely nice! Breakfast station was nice and clean. The two ladies who came from house keeping were so nice and did a great job on my room. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel. My only complaint is breakfast choices, hut the coffee was good.
