This Universal resort is now my favorite one! It’s got a cool beach vibe & is a quick bus ride to parks! The rooms are clean & decorated with beachy details. We stayed in 2 room suite which had 2 queen beds in main area with a picnic table & small kitchen with amenities- small fridge, microwave & coffee machine. Then there was a separate room with a 3rd queen bed. Both rooms had flat screen tvs. There’s a Starbucks, a small hotel cafe & an outdoor bar in pool area for food/drink options at this resort. Pool area is nice size, clean & has a lifeguard. The gym was spacious, clean, decent equipment & easy to find on the main floor, past lobby & cafe. Parking is easy with a separate parking garage a close walking distance separated from resort. There is a Walgreens on the corner across the street that is quick drive or possibly walkable. The buses are relatively quick to pick you up & drop you off at parks. The buses run together with Dockside resort across the street, so there’s one stop before or after when going to & from Parks/Citywalk. Front desk staff are super friendly & kind.

My stay here was amazing this was my family first vacation and this hotel did not disappoint. From the restaurant s, the pool, Starbucks, shuttle buses to the park..... everything was amazing. I love that you can text when you need something. The staff was nice and friendly. I am also in the hotel industry and also a travel agent I will be recommending this hotel to my clients. I check out tomorrow, but I already started booking for next year...I give this place 10 stars

This is a good hotel to stay at for convenient shuttle service and early access to the Universal Parks. Everyone who works there is lovely- friendly, responsive, and helpful. Pool is clean and nice. It's very bare bones for the price you pay otherwise. The walls are thin so bring ear plugs, and the products are few and poor quality so don't rely on using their shower supplies.

We had an excellent stay at Endless Summer Surfside. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was a brilliant start to the trip. The staff were friendly, the overall vibe was great, and the whole place felt relaxed and welcoming. The shuttle service to the parks is outstanding — buses running every few minutes made getting around completely stress‑free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The pool area was a highlight. We spent a couple of days sunbathing there, and the nearby bar was perfect for drinks and snacks. The food in the on‑site restaurant was decent too, especially compared to typical theme‑park options. The location is also spot‑on: a 7‑Eleven and Walgreens right beside the hotel, and it’s close enough to ICON Park for an easy evening out when you want a break from the parks. My only tiny criticism — and it really is tiny — is the lack of evening entertainment. Even a bit of low‑key music until around 10pm would add a lovely atmosphere for families without making the place noisy. But that’s a small suggestion, not a complaint. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Surfside. Great value, great vibe, and a great base for a Universal trip.

Pretty good. The hotel is nice and well taken care of. The pool is nice. It's good that they have bus service that goes back and forth. If you're willing to walk, you can get to some restaurants within a half a mile. There's a Starbucks in the lobby. Good for the morning. The restaurants here are the same prices and higher than in the park and the cups that you buy for the hotel do not work in the park. So therefore you need to buy a cup for the hotel and a cup for the park which is different than Disney where you only need to buy one. The location is great and very convenient to get to and from universal. We went to epic and Islands of adventure. That big is the new one and very clean and well put together. Not a lot of rides. everybody goes there so it gets crushed. The lines are super long
