During a recent work trip, I stayed at the Element Hotel and encountered several issues that made the stay disappointing. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have the credit card authorization that had been sent and confirmed in advance by my employer. As a result, the front desk staff had to make multiple phone calls, and the check-in process took approximately 30 minutes. We were ultimately required to place a personal credit card on the room despite this being a business stay. My room was also not properly cleaned. I notified the front desk, specifically regarding the condition of the shower, and was told it would be addressed. When I returned, there were still visible hairs in the shower. Upon reporting this again, the staff member on duty was dismissive and stated that I was being unreasonable over “one hair,” insisting there was no issue. Due to the lack of professionalism and concern, I requested to switch rooms, as I no longer had confidence that housekeeping would resolve the problem adequately. Cleanliness issues extended beyond the room itself. The carpets and hallways on the 2nd floor were noticeably dirty throughout our stay, while the 5th-floor hallways and carpets were consistently spotless, highlighting inconsistent maintenance within the property. Additionally, my coworker did not have hot water in her room for two days, while the rest of our group did. We reported the issue to the front desk, and a technician visited while we were out. Upon returning, the issue had not been resolved. The technician later advised her to run the water for 15–20 minutes, which still did not result in hot water. The front desk again minimized the concern. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my coworker was ultimately moved to the nearby Aloft, which was significantly cleaner and had properly functioning hot water. There were some positives during our stay. The freshly cooked eggs at breakfast were a nice touch, and the breakfast area was consistently kept very clean by staff. However, the waffle makers were only available on weekends, and the breakfast offerings were largely the same each day. The fitness center was also clean and adequately equipped for a workout. As a Marriott Gold member who stays frequently at Marriott properties, this experience did not align with the level of quality and service I have come to expect. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect the standards typically associated with the Marriott brand.

It's a nice newer hotel. For a more value priced hotel it had a nice pool. It had a splash zone for younger children with a lovely fire pit area. They also had draft beer and cocktails available. This is nice if you get back to hotel and relax while family enjoys hotel activities. There was a relatively large laundry facility. Nice if you are on an extended vacation.

We stayed in FL an extra night after our Disney trip. This hotel was perfect for our stay. The whole places smelled clean and looked very inviting and the decor was really nice for the holidays. Our room was ready early, which was unexpected and we were grateful. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. I loved the spacious restroom and the shower had great water pressure. Our daughter lives locally, so we had her over for a visit and we were a little disappointed that we were required to pay for her to park for a couple of hours in a practically empty parking lot, but we complied of course. Breakfast was perfect with a custom made omelette including spinach and cheese. There was fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, cereals and coffee or juice. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We got an affordable Lyft to MCO & arrived within about 20min. We will definitely stay here again if needed.

I am a Lifetime Platinum Elite customer. I booked a room with my points. Without prior notice, they changed my room type. Front desk people told me that the type of room I booked is sold-out. REALLY? Absolutely don't care about the customers. Might have sold the room for higher prices and downgraded me to a lower level room!!! When I insisted for the room I booked for, they warned me that I will be escorted out by the security! That's the reward for being loyal to Marriott over a decade!!! It seems like Marriott also could do anything because these are franchise owned properties and they don't have a say on what these hotels do???!!! Then, what for Marriott?

I have mixed feelings on this location. I originally wanted to stay for 10 nights but then noticed there would be a parking fee and reduced my stay because it seemed a bit excessive for this location. I frequently stay at Hyatt & didn’t have to pay for parking and even when I stayed at another hotel earlier in the month, the parking rate was covered while this hotel’s rate is $26 a night. The theme park hotels include parking for their guests so the price just seemed a bit excessive. It could have just been my room but I was not completely satisfied with it. There was an odd odor in it and the TV did not work. I thought perhaps maybe it had something to do the with AC with the odor but it still remained throughout the stay. I wanted to move rooms but there was not another one available for the rate I paid for. I’m actually kind of disappointed because I wanted to enjoy my stay. The only good thing was the staff is kind, welcoming and the breakfast is pretty good
