We have just spent a lovely 10 days at the resort. We had a fabulous time. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean & comfortable and beautifully presented. The resort was ideally located in a canopy of palm trees and other tropical plants. The swimming pools were stunning and the outlook to the beach was breathtaking. We highly recommend this beautiful resort.

When one member of our group unexpectedly had to be taken to the hospital, the team showed exceptional attention, support, and genuine concern. Our stay was made even more special by the beautiful views of Koh Samui and the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The warm smiles and sincere hospitality we received every day truly made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you for your care, compassion, and unforgettable hospitality. We stayed 5 nights at The Passage. It is a beautiful resort area. The restaurant there serves great food. We ended up eating there every night enjoying the magnificent sunset views. The beach is nice and you can walk far for it to start getting deep. The shoreline is a little bit more pebbly at first but then it's nice soft sand. At first when we arrived, they regretfully informed us that due to a reservation system change, our original booking of a beachfront villa with pool was no longer available. They instead offered us the 2 bedroom beachfront with pool which weirdly is less expensive perhaps because it is not gated but instead open and next to the restaurant. They gave us a credit for the difference, free massages and a transfer to the airport. That is how you make a client happy and in the end we were happy with the 2 bedroom as we had a large open space with a fantastic view, and a his/her bedroom (great to put a snorer in one). The staff are super nice and friendly and went out of their way to make us happy. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay there.

Strong first impression on arrival, but problems become obvious within a few hours. The plumbing is poor, the AC doesn’t perform well, service is inconsistent, and both the pool and rooms are not properly maintained. Food is overpriced, and the resort’s remote location makes it inconvenient. Room service is also difficult to reach, as calls often go unanswered. The restaurant closes at 930, including the bar. Room service does not too off the drinks or snacks. On the positive side, some of the food can be enjoyable, the beaches are beautiful, and there are a variety of activities available—though most come at a high premium. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to return to this resort.

13 nights spent at TUI Blue The Passage Samui for Christmas and New Year. A big thank you for the welcome and the daily life organized by the hotel. The place is idyllic. A very pretty resort on the beach, which has very fine sand and an imperial sunset. Ploy is an excellent dancer but above all provides exceptional service with a smile and great helpfulness. M, whose only smile invites you to come back to this hotel, is exemplary in kindness and will take you on a journey with his bartending skills. Bella is not to be outdone either, with her bursts of laughter and her sympathy, the assurance of having an excellent stay without any problems. The hotel would be nothing without its butler, concerned about your daily well-being, and remaining smiling despite the imponderables of the weather. A professional and quality service overall. Regarding the bungalows, they offer sufficient comfort and correspond in every way to the photos on the internet. The garden view villas may lack lounge chairs but have a small table with two chairs that do their job well. This villa enjoys privacy compared to the pool villas and pool villas. The bungalows are cleaned every day and everything necessary is made available to visitors so that nothing is missing, such as bath towels in particular. We were present on the island of Koh Samui 20 years ago. We observed its denaturization during this trip, where resorts and SPAs clearly took the lead over the pretty wooden bungalows of the time and where wild nature was introduced into the complexes. Disappointed with the urbanization of the island, but happy to have been able to stay in this hotel, which will still require a means of transport to get around the island (renting a two-wheeler remains ideal given the traffic). We recommend the TUI Blue Passage hotel for its quality staff and the services it offers. Stéphane et Gaby
