⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Sheraton Samui Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the experience was warm, relaxing, and genuinely memorable. The location is fantastic. Set on the beautiful Chaweng Noi Beach, the resort offers the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. The beach is clean, peaceful, and never felt overcrowded. Waking up to the sound of the waves and spending evenings watching the sunset from the beachfront was something we'll remember for a long time. The resort itself is lush, beautifully landscaped, and very well maintained. Walking through the property feels like being in a tropical oasis, with greenery everywhere and breathtaking sea views around every corner. Our room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The bed was perfect after long days of exploring the island, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. Every detail reflected the care the team puts into maintaining the property. One of the biggest reasons this stay stood out was the hospitality. Every member of the team greeted us with genuine smiles and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Whether it was at the reception, restaurants, housekeeping, or around the pool, the service was consistently warm, professional, and attentive. It's the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another booking. Breakfast was another highlight. There was an excellent variety catering to different tastes, with fresh fruits, pastries, egg stations, Thai dishes, and plenty of international options. Enjoying breakfast with views of the ocean was the perfect way to begin each day. We also loved spending time by both swimming pools. They were clean, peaceful, and never felt too crowded. The direct access to the beach made it incredibly convenient to switch between the pool and the sea throughout the day. The beach itself is one of the nicest we've visited—soft sand, clear water, and a very relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated how well the resort balances luxury with comfort. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Sheraton Samui Resort team for making our holiday so special. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. We left with wonderful memories and would happily choose Sheraton Samui Resort again on our next visit to Koh Samui. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront resort with exceptional hospitality and a truly relaxing atmosphere.

A truly outstanding hotel. The facilities may not be brand new, but they are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. The breakfast is wonderful, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The beach deserves a special mention: it's absolutely breathtaking and wonderfully uncrowded. I would definitely stay at this hotel again without a second thought.

Well it is an older property at the best beach in Samui🏝️ the water is clear and the sand is white and fine. The hotel has really well trained staff who are all very serviceminded and nice in every aspect. The food and breakfast is superb and one really enjoy staying there. Only but is the dated room and building design but everything is working perfectly. We enjoy our holiday at the Sheraton

Incredible wedding experience and unforgettable stay We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Samui for five nights in March, where we also celebrated our wedding—and it truly exceeded every expectation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by a team that was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The level of service across the entire hotel was exceptional and left a lasting impression throughout our stay. The kitchen manager deserves special recognition not only for consistently fantastic food, but also for being so friendly and engaging, even during busy breakfast service. That personal touch made each morning feel special. The food overall was outstanding—every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and pride by the kitchen team. The breakfast buffet in particular was the best we have ever experienced at a hotel, with incredible variety and quality that we looked forward to every morning. Our wedding day itself was nothing short of magical. The entire setup was stunning, with incredible attention to detail. The team responsible for the physical setup did an amazing job, and everything came together seamlessly and beautifully. A very special mention must go to Nay, our lovely wedding coordinator, who was truly exceptional from start to finish. Her communication in the lead-up via email was clear, responsive, and incredibly reassuring, which meant so much to us as we had booked the entire wedding online without seeing things in person. She made the whole process feel easy and less stressful. On the day, she handled everything effortlessly, accommodating all of our requests and ensuring every detail was perfect. By the end of the experience, we genuinely felt like Nay was more than just a coordinator—she felt like a friend. The celebrant organised by the hotel, Stuart, was also wonderful and, as a lovely surprise, was able to incorporate some German into the ceremony. This thoughtful touch meant a lot to our German guests and added something very special that we hadn’t even expected. The bar and kitchen staff were equally fantastic—friendly, efficient, and always contributing to a great atmosphere for both us and our guests. And the buffet was simply delicious. The photographers included in the wedding package were also excellent—they captured the day beautifully and provided a large selection of photos, giving us plenty of wonderful moments to choose from. We are so grateful to the entire Sheraton Samui team for creating such an unforgettable experience. From the incredible staff to the outstanding food and flawless execution of our wedding, everything came together perfectly. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue and a truly memorable stay.

I genuinely think Sheraton Samui should drop the five star charade and settle comfortably into being a solid three star hotel. The property is outdated, poorly maintained and simply doesn’t justify its prices. The sunbeds are old and wonky, with torn mattresses and stuffing coming out. The terrace furniture in the rooms looks like it has simply been painted white to disguise its age. Rooms are average and amenities surprisingly poor. No hair ties, sewing kits or beach flip flops, and you even have to ask reception for a shoehorn. Housekeeping is inconsistent and often very late. Sometimes our room still wasn’t cleaned by 3 or 4 pm. We had a pillowcase with red stains and occasionally towels weren’t replaced. Breakfast is limited. No fish, no soy milk for cereal, and generally nothing you’d expect from a five star breakfast. Even tiny details feel poorly thought out. There’s a DIY virgin Bloody Mary station, but nowhere to discard the squeezed lime. It’s insignificant on its own, but this hotel is essentially a collection of little things like this. The two restaurants basically feel like one. The food is average, inconsistent and extremely overpriced. The spa has no sauna, jacuzzi or relaxation area. You go directly to the treatment room, and even the welcome snack feels rushed because staff are already waiting for you to finish. The grounds somehow feel cramped, with little space to simply wander. There isn’t really anywhere to wander or explore. You simply move from one designated area to another. There are two pools. One is so far from the beach that going there feels like a commitment. The other is basically a shallow pond, with only a tiny separated section reaching 1.8 metres. That section is so small that the whole thing feels more like an oversized bathtub than a proper resort pool. Recreational facilities seem to amount to a ping pong table. The gym is genuinely sad. Two treadmills, one elliptical, two bikes, one multi station weight machine, beaten up dumbbells and dirty yoga mats, all squeezed into a small room. There’s even a huge TV awkwardly positioned above the mirrors that I saw several people bump into. Other details are equally bizarre. We were told they couldn’t exchange more than $200 because they had “run out of money,” yet another person asked shortly afterwards and suddenly they could. The luggage scale is a handheld hanging scale that requires you to physically lift your suitcase by a hook. There were also none of the small touches you normally expect from a five star resort, such as welcome fruit or other complimentary amenities. The staff are the one consistently good thing. They are friendly, kind and helpful. Individually, most of these complaints are minor. Together, they simply don’t add up to a five star resort. For the prices Sheraton Samui charges, the standard isn’t there. A huge disappointment.
