    While Santiburi pretends to be “luxury”, it does not deliver on it. I HIGHLY recommend choosing another hotel that will provide a truly unique and luxurious experience. There are plenty on Koh Samui. Below are some of the most notable issues, although the hotel underdelivers in many other aspects as well. First of all, your villa will have no privacy at all. The yard is next to the walkways, so everyone passing by can see you both in the yard and inside your room through the panoramic windows. The room itself is very basic. Second big disappointment is a beachfront - it is very busy and crowded, no much options of available sunbeds. The sea itself is good though, good sandy beach, clean water, nice and easy waves, very comfortable to swim. Lastly, the hotel charges 800 baht if you order food from outside through a courier. Moreover, they block food delivery apps on their wifi. Imagine how petty and insecure they must be about their restaurants. Overall, this was by far the most disappointing stay we had on Koh Samui.

    Incredible hotel, one of the best resorts I have ever been to. The lush flowering gardens, manicured beachfront and incredible service all round. We stayed at the reserve pool villa, it was very comfortable. The restaurants are excellent. Great food and good choice. The spa was also very good, we got a 5 hour package and did 2x1,5 hours and 2x1 hour in massages.

    A truly wonderful stay at Santiburi. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and create such a peaceful atmosphere throughout the resort. Our villa was serene and charming — waking up each morning to those views was simply lovely. Breakfast was exceptional, the beach stunning and perfectly maintained, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Warm, attentive and genuinely caring, they are without a doubt the true stars of this hotel. A perfect 5-star escape.

    I had an incredible stay at Santiburi Resort & Spa in Koh Samui. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly at home super friendly, welcoming, and warm, just like a family. Everywhere you go, whether it’s the reception, the spa, or the dining areas, the staff are genuinely helpful, down-to-earth, and always smiling. I’ll admit, I almost didn’t book this resort because of a few negative reviews, but I’m so glad I experienced it for myself. The resort is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and has such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that I didn’t even feel like leaving the property. A big shout-out to the Thai night dining restaurant for their amazing food dinner there was a highlight of the trip. Truly delicious! Overall, every penny was worth it. Santiburi Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui. I can’t wait to come back. From room 414

    So I can only share my experience for the Day Pass they offer. Advertised as $1,500 baht, plus taxes and other property charges. Total just under $1,800 baht. They give you a $1,000 baht voucher to use on food, drink or services. I asked for a menu and they advised because I am Day Pass Guest I must go to the restaurant myself and order. Thumbs down on that. So I walk to the restaurant, order a drink. They bring it and don’t return my Day Pass. I had to ask for it as it has a balance still and validates my stay in the event I’m asked by staff. Then I look at the bill and again you pay tax and service charges. I’m local. It’s not terrible but I won’t be back for another Day Pass and won’t recommend to friends or family when they come. Absolutely absurd they won’t wait on you at the beach when they charge you a service fee and you do everything. Don’t let this discourage a stay. Is a nice place. A little dated but very nice.
