Beautiful resort ideally located at the quieter end of Chaweng beach and very close to airport. Rooms are luxe, clean and comfortable. I stayed in garden pool villa which is just across the road in the garden wing. Pretty common for a lot of Samui resorts that are beach front. Because it was school holidays the prices were pretty high and there were loads of families which is fine but the pool overlooking the beach does get overrun and the vibe is less chill beach club more kids overtaking the pool area. I think they need to ensure that everyone enjoys the space and limit things like ball games in the pool or get them to go over in the garden wing pool for example. The other slight thing that could be improved was service by the pool bar, they are not very attentive and you really have to try and call someone down. I did a day at Centara by the pool and their service was exceptional, water being topped up and attentive but unobtrusive service. For the price that is paid this is definitely an area for improvement however all in all would recommend this hotel but if you're looking for an adults only vibe then either don't travel during school holidays or perhaps look at an adults only alternative.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort was simply unforgettable. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are absolutely stunning, with a modern, minimalist design that feels both luxurious and peaceful. We stayed in the beachfront rooms with a private pool, and waking up just steps from the beach every morning was an amazing experience. The beach is beautiful, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. One of the things we loved was being able to buy fresh tropical fruit and delicious freshly grilled corn from local vendors right on the beach, which added a wonderful local touch to our stay. The hotel also offers complimentary yoga classes by the beach three times a week. Practicing yoga with the sound of the waves in the background was peaceful and truly unforgettable. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our vacation perfect. From check-in to check-out, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip to Koh Samui. If you’re looking for a stylish beachfront resort with outstanding service, beautiful rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere, I can’t recommend SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort highly enough. I will definitely be back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

Amazing staff, but misses the 5-star mark for families The Good: Outstanding Service: The staff is incredible! A huge shoutout to Mrs. Ploy for helping us sort out an issue with Bangkok Airways. Truly top-tier service. Design & Location: The hotel looks stunning and is situated right next to a fantastic beach. The Bad: Outdated System: For a 5-star resort, getting physical room keys (with the hotel name and room number printed on them) felt like a major security breach waiting to happen. We also had to use paper coupons for breakfast. Breakfast Variety: Instead of a buffet, there is a fixed menu of 10 dishes for the entire stay. It gets repetitive, and it’s definitely not kid-friendly. Bottom line: Despite the beautiful property and the best service I’ve ever experienced, I wouldn’t come back here with my kids.

Our stay at Sala Resort was nothing short of spectacular from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out. The resort itself is breathtaking, and the view from our room was so picturesque it felt like looking at a postcard every single day. What truly sets Sala apart, however, is the incomparable level of service and hospitality. I have never met a General Manager quite like Erwin. Every single morning, he made it a point to be visible, making himself known to his guests and taking the time to have a genuine, warm chat. That level of personal touch and leadership from the top is incredibly rare and sets the tone for the entire resort. That excellence filters down into every single department. The entire team from the reception desk to housekeeping and the restaurant staff was remarkably attentive and pleasant. We also had the best time trying Muay Thai for the first time at the resort, which was a fantastic experience. A very special shout out must go to the day spa, we became genuinely hooked on the beautiful daily massages with the Tibetan bowls. Sao and Rose were absolutely incredible and made our relaxation time unforgettable. Beyond the incredible daily service, a massive, heartfelt thank you goes to the team for assisting me in preparing our room so beautifully for a surprise engagement proposal. They executed it flawlessly, creating a moment that my fiancée and I will cherish forever. This has been the most memorable holiday of our lives. We are officially hooked on Sala Resort and will definitely be back next year to celebrate our anniversary! If you are considering staying here, do not hesitate it is absolute perfection.

I found this hotel by chance on Booking.com, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Perfectly located close to the main entertainment and nightlife street, yet a few hundred meters away, which gives you a real sense of peace and tranquility. We stayed in a pool-access room, which was beautifully designed, very spacious with high ceilings, and spotlessly clean. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, and both the beach and the pool were lovely. In short, a true five-star experience. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
