Beautiful resort ideally located at the quieter end of Chaweng beach and very close to airport. Rooms are luxe, clean and comfortable. I stayed in garden pool villa which is just across the road in the garden wing. Pretty common for a lot of Samui resorts that are beach front. Because it was school holidays the prices were pretty high and there were loads of families which is fine but the pool overlooking the beach does get overrun and the vibe is less chill beach club more kids overtaking the pool area. I think they need to ensure that everyone enjoys the space and limit things like ball games in the pool or get them to go over in the garden wing pool for example. The other slight thing that could be improved was service by the pool bar, they are not very attentive and you really have to try and call someone down. I did a day at Centara by the pool and their service was exceptional, water being topped up and attentive but unobtrusive service. For the price that is paid this is definitely an area for improvement however all in all would recommend this hotel but if you're looking for an adults only vibe then either don't travel during school holidays or perhaps look at an adults only alternative.

We stayed at Sala Samui for three nights, and from the moment we checked in until the day we left, we felt incredibly well taken care of. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their warm hospitality and excellent service. We stayed in the Garden Wing, and honestly, I preferred it over the beachfront area. The gardens are beautiful, very photogenic, and most of the resort’s facilities are conveniently located there. Whenever we wanted to visit the beach, it was just a short walk away. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. One feature that really stood out was Sala’s dedicated app. We could easily find information, make requests, and communicate with the staff through the app, and the responses were always quick and helpful. It’s such a fantastic feature and deserves special praise. The location is also very convenient. The airport and Central Samui are both nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and other amenities within easy reach. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here, and we hope to return again very soon.

We recently returned from our holiday in Thailand, where we stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort, and writing this review is truly emotional for us. From the very first moment, what stood out the most were the people. The friendliness and warmth of the entire staff were beyond anything we have ever experienced. From the kind gentlemen who helped us cross the road every single day, to the reception team, to the incredible restaurant staff – waiters, managers, everyone – the level of care, kindness, and professionalism was exceptional. There were moments during our stay when we genuinely needed their help. One morning, our little one had a fever, and the team immediately stepped in. They called a taxi for us, made sure we got to the clinic safely, and checked on us multiple times afterward to see if we needed anything. They were always there when we needed them – not just performing a service, but truly caring. That level of humanity is rare. The gastronomy was absolutely outstanding. Breakfasts were fresh, beautifully prepared, and incredibly diverse, with an amazing selection of cold cuts, vegetables, fruits, and a varied à la carte menu that made every morning special. Lunches and dinners were just as perfect – high-quality dishes, great flavors, and impeccable service every single time. We also want to highlight the wonderful team at the pool and beach. They took care of us all day long, bringing drinks, fresh coconuts, and making sure we were comfortable at all times. Their kindness and attention made our days by the water effortless and relaxing. As parents, we must say that this hotel offers one of the best environments for children we have ever seen. There is so much open green space where kids can safely run and play, a beautiful large pool, and a fantastic kids’ corner with activities. Our child had an amazing program every single day. A special thank you goes to instructor Honey and instructor Chimn, who dedicated their time and energy with so much care and warmth. They made our little one feel happy, safe, and excited every day. We would also like to give a very special thank you to the incredible people who made our stay unforgettable: Erwin, Booki, New, Ooh, Amp, Cho, Mind, Nat, Mint, Am, Noom, Ice, Yod, Nim From the Pool Team: Ter and Pitr And also Sof and Bansan. Each of you made us feel welcomed, cared for, and valued every single day. Your professionalism, kindness, and genuine smiles are the true reason this hotel stands out. The hotel itself is stunning, but honestly, that is just the cherry on top. The rooms are elegant and extremely comfortable. We had a private pool, and the daily housekeeping was flawless. Everything was cleaned and prepared perfectly every day. And the bed… without exaggeration, it is the best bed we have ever slept in. Soft, luxurious, and unbelievably comfortable – we slept better there than anywhere else in our lives. After a month with the team, we no longer felt like guests – we felt like family. It was genuinely difficult to say goodbye. In our eyes, this is the best hotel in Thailand. Absolute professionals in every sense of the word, combining luxury with genuine warmth and heart. We are already planning to book our stay for next year, because the experience they create is something you simply want to live again. We recommend it with the highest possible rating.

We had the best stay at SALA Chaweng Beach Resort! We stayed on the Garden Side, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. The facilities were excellent, and the entire resort was spotless and well cared for. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We highly recommend this resort and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Koh Samui. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at SALA Samui and spent 5 magical nights at the resort. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning design and attention to detail. Everything was impeccably clean, and the entire property was very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
