Layana Resort & Spa has introduced their "Sunshine Guarantee", whereby the resort will make a gesture of goodwill for every full day of rain.

If it rains continuously between the hours of 10:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs, customers will be entitled to Resort Credit to the value of THB 1,000 per room, per day. Guests will be notified every day at 17:00 hrs, if the day has qualified for the resort credit refund.

The credit must be spent in the resort during your stay and may not be redeemed for cash. The "Sunshine Guarantee" promotion is available from May until September

We absolutely LOVED Layana. What a GREAT experience! The staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are VERY spacious and clean. The shuttle service is very professional, and the food is amazing. We really felt like we were in paradise at Layana. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Koh Lanta and wants to have a five-star hotel experience! From our entire trip through Thailand, I would say that Layana was my favorite resort of all.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The rooms were impeccably clean, and our luggage was brought to our room upon arrival and picked up again at departure – all without us ever having to ask. At both breakfast and dinner, we never had to wait. Everything was extremely well organized. By the pool, we were escorted to our loungers, where towels were already laid out for us. We were constantly provided with fresh, ice-cold water – free of charge and completely effortlessly. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a flower necklace, and even at departure, Hotel Manager Franck personally greeted and bade us farewell – a truly thoughtful and special touch. Arriving at the hotel by boat via the private pier was an additional highlight. The massages were exactly as promised: punctual, highly professional, and wonderfully relaxing. The boat tours organized by the hotel were perfectly timed and exceptionally attentive. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the beach, and drinks – including beer and wine – were always provided. German-speaking staff members are available not only at check-in but also throughout the day, which is very helpful for German-speaking guests. Smokers will also appreciate that smoking is allowed on the room balconies. In short: this hotel offers service at the highest level. We felt completely taken care of and would return without hesitation!

🌺 Magical Wedding at Layana Resort & Spa🌺 I recently had my wedding and reception at Layana Resort & Spa in Koh Lanta, and I can honestly say it was the most magical experience of my life. We had around 40 of our closest family and friends join us, and we were pleased with the beauty of the resort, the warmth of the staff, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the celebration. The team at Layana truly went above and beyond; their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made us all feel so special and completely at ease. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect; stunning beach, great coordination, and the most delicious food and drinks. I regret not leaving enough room in my stomach for the delicious thai reception dinner! Layana Resort & Spa will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we will be forever grateful. We chose Layana Resort for a last minute, off-season holiday. Our expectations, set by good reviews and information online were absolutely exceeded, from when we were met at the airport right through to check-out several days later. The staff are exceptional; friendly, helpful and well trained. They obviously enjoy working for a company which looks after them and engages with and employs the local community. The food was delicious and program of events and entertainment just enough to add variety to the week without overwhelming the relaxed atmosphere. One highlight was a guided bike ride with a Ko Lanta local, along the beach and into town. It being off-peak some of the businesses, tourist activities on the island and other resorts in the area were closed, but the less touristy vibe added to the relaxing holiday we needed. And it meant we the beautiful pool and long wander-friendly beach were never crowded. We were very lucky with the weather and saw less rain than we had anticipated during the wet season, but even the occasional rain didn't put a damper on the wonderful experience.

Fantastic resort with great service. I especially liked the warm greeting by the General Manager upon arrival. Rooms are comfortable and the food options are good, or you can walk out for many more food options. They keep the grounds and beach very clean. My only caution would be to not rent a motorbike through the resort. They claimed to have a good relationship with the shop down the street but I ended up with a rusty, dirty, squeaky, empty tank clunker for maybe the highest price I’ve ever paid in Thailand. Other than that, you really can’t go wrong here.
