This hotel is gorgeous! We are staying here for the final 4 nights of our time in Thailand and couldn’t be happier. The pool and beach deck were a highlight, as well as the abundance of complimentary entertainment. We especially enjoyed the rum class with Joey, and the hotel tour with Fip. Dede at the restaurant and bar was also incredibly helpful on our first night when we were getting our bearings. Overall, the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also incredibly delicious and the breakfast buffet was to die for!! We are so happy to have chosen Explorar Koh Samui for our stay.

Two weeks of our lives were spent in this slice of paradise and we cannot wait to return!! First and foremost is the service, everyone from the moment you arrive to the restaurant, bar, room service, spa or activities - literally everyone is so kind, helpful and fun. But of course the food and drinks are just sublime. Having only one restaurant we did wonder if we'd tire of the food but how wrong we were. Every single meal from breakfast, lunch to dinner and snacks have been some of the best food I've ever had. A huge selection of western food and Thai food that one could never get bored. Two weeks we're here and couldn't get through the whole menu if we tried! And finally the resort itself; we stayed in a Garden Pool Villa which was so spacious and private, being able to dip in your own pool every morning and night is the best, and we found ourselves in the main pool area way more than we anticipated because the vibes were immaculate, and the drinks flowing from the swim up bar! This has been the most relaxing holiday, loved every second! Oh and being adults only with no screaming kids around the pool, perfect!

This resort is absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. Plus, it offers great privacy. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—Benz and the rest of the team helped us book various restaurants and activities. They truly have everything you could possibly need here. We also took the pizza-making class during our stay, and the staff there were so warm and welcoming. The class was incredibly fun; we learned how to make pizza from scratch and got to know all the ingredients. A special shoutout to Myo and Frank for being so patient and attentive. We had such a wonderful time at the class! Overall, I had a flawless vacation at this resort. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Koh Samui!

Absolutely splendid. My wife and I spent a beautiful luxurious week here and we can't fault it. The view looking north over the sea through the palm trees with the scattered island backdrop is amazing. Everything about the hotel was great including the room, restaurant and pools. The staff were super friendly. We caught the free shuttle into Fisherman's Viilage which was interesting but it was nice to return to the quiet adult only sanctuary of Explora. I liked also how that the restaurant prices were not inflated compared to restaurants in Fisherman's Village. Yesterday we had an interesting day in Chawang but it is so hectic and crowded with peddlers trying to sell you everything and won't take now for a answer it was nice to return to our hotel and enjoy another sunset dinner under the palm trees.

Beautiful resort with an exceptional, friendly team. Every day we were greeted by welcoming smiles and people wanting to make our experience exceptional. While the resort is slightly away from the main strip, this was perfect for us as it provided a more relaxed feel and is still walking distance from convenience stores and restaurants. Definitely recommend for an island getaway with lots of complementary activities such as delicious rum tasting, bus to fisherman’s village, exercise classes and happy hour!
