My boyfriend and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton 6th-11th January. Overall we had a lovely stay. The staff were very accommodating, multilingual, went above and beyond to try to help us. The room was absolutely immaculate. It felt like luxury. The only negative I would say is when we arrived at midday after our flight, we were what I felt to be “shoved” in a waiting room by the swimming pool. Our cases were at reception and we just sat there in a dark room for almost three hours. It felt like a waste of a day. Being offered a room to shower and freshen up after our flight would’ve been a much more enjoyable experience. Another point to consider is a taxi is approximately £9 each way into fisherman’s village. For what we enjoy in the evenings, location wise it was a little too far. It would have been really nice if the hotel arranged an in house shuttle taxi service a couple of times a day to help with this. Also, aircon in the breakfast area would also be a way to improve. Nonetheless an amazing hotel - both throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui a while ago for the Christmas break and had a wonderful experience. Everything about the resort felt like a dream from start to finish. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere was both relaxing and festive, and the attention to detail really stood out. The service throughout our stay was exceptional and made us feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a special holiday. We still look back on our stay very fondly and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommend.

We spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! Lovely property and beach, all of the facilities were brilliant! Specials thanks to Jeeb the bartender who very friendly and lovely to chat to, and make some great cocktails for our anniversary night! Also thank you to Bam in the Thai restaurant for a lovely experience and fantastic service All of the staff around the resort were great, very very friendly and helpful giving great tips and ideas for trips. Rueben the manager was superb at dealing with some minor queries and has got a fantastic team around him to make it a very enjoyable stay!

We had an amazing stay here. We booked the Sea View Villa with a private pool and absolutely loved it. it was very comfortable, beautifully designed, and the views were stunning. The main hotel pool is large and gorgeous, and the two small private beaches are quiet, scenic, and really lovely places to relax. Service was truly exceptional throughout our stay; every staff member we met was warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, and definitely the best we’ve had in Thailand. You can really feel how much the hotel cares about its guests, from the thoughtful in-room amenities to little touches like complimentary sunscreen at the pool. A few things to be aware of: prices inside the resort are very high. Food and drinks are significantly more expensive than outside the hotel. That’s for the pool menu. For the restaurants- We only tried the steakhouse and it was excellent, but also extremely pricey. Not a complaint, just something I would have liked to know in advance. The resort itself is huge. A lot of people mentioned this in reviews, and it’s true — most of the time you’ll need to use the buggy service to get around. It’s actually quite convenient, and we never waited more than about 10 minutes, but for anyone with mobility issues, this is important to know. Also, the hotel is quite secluded, set on its own mountain, so there’s nothing within walking distance. It’s part of the charm, but keep in mind that you’ll need to take a taxi if you want to go anywhere outside the resort. Overall, it’s a stunning place with incredible service, amazing views, and a truly luxurious feel — just be prepared for the costs and the remote location.

We stayed in a villa with a private pool and ocean view, and it was perfect. The resort is large, with villas scattered on the hillside. Golf carts are available to move around, which is very convenient. The breakfast is excellent, with delicious pastries. Dining at Pak Thai and a private candlelit dinner by the coral reef was incredible — food and service were impeccable. The spa and pools are beautiful and tranquil. The infinity pool has stunning views of the beach. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The beach itself is gravelly with rocks, so swimming is limited, but the overall resort experience is luxurious and relaxing.
