What a great hotel for families! Excellent location - there is a large market close to the hotel some days of the week, a promenade on the beach, a 7/11 close by. The rooms - were well maintained, clean, huge (we had a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and all the necessary kitchen utensils). There were activities for children, a playground, huge pools that never felt crowded. And the breakfast was very rich and varied (it is recommended to taste the local desserts). All the hotel staff were very helpful, welcoming and I would especially mention Kob who helped us a lot and was very nice to us.

I recently stayed at Sunwing Kamala Beach with my family, and it was honestly one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. The resort facilities are outstanding; everything was extremely clean, well-maintained, and very family-friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, and the main restaurant served amazing international food throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out for us was that all the chicken and meat served at the resort is halal, which made dining very comfortable and convenient for our family. This resort is truly designed for families and children. There are plenty of activities organized for kids according to different age groups, and my 5-year-old son absolutely loved every moment here. Even if you decide not to go out for sightseeing or tourist activities, you will never feel bored at the resort because there are so many activities available for both kids and adults. The swimming pools were another highlight as it was very clean and temperature controlled, which made them perfect for families and children. What made our experience even more special was the amazing staff. Everyone was humble, polite, friendly, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Renelyn from Guest Relations, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. She guided us very well, arranged a room upgrade for us at a very reasonable price, and even allowed us a complimentary late check-out, which we truly appreciated. Another great advantage is that many of the staff members are Filipinos and communicate very well in English, making everything smooth and easy for international guests. I would highly recommend Sunwing Kamala Beach to anyone visiting Phuket, especially families with children. In my opinion, this is one of the best family-oriented resorts in Phuket, and I would definitely love to stay here again.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach and can highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. The entire resort as well as the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. The location of the hotel is also excellent – perfect for a relaxing holiday. For children, there is truly everything they could wish for. Our daughter loved it and already misses the kind and friendly staff from the Kids Club. We would especially like to highlight the outstanding guest service, particularly Renelyn. She supported us with all our concerns and small issues and made our stay even more enjoyable – thank you so much! Exceptional family stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort We had a truly fantastic stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort, and everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is perfectly located on Kamala Beach, calm, family‑friendly, and very well maintained. We stayed in a main poolside room, which was clean, spacious, and extremely convenient with a child. A very thoughtful touch was the welcome package, which included all minibar items and a fruit basket, making our arrival feel warm and special. The resort facilities are excellent—great pools, kids’ areas, and a relaxed atmosphere without feeling crowded. The birthday breakfast surprise with a pancake and birthday song was a lovely gesture and created a very memorable moment for us. The birthday celebration arranged at the inhouse Som’s Restaurant was beautifully done, with pastel balloon décor, a number “2” balloon, cake, fruit platter, and a birthday card. Everything was well coordinated and perfectly suited for a family celebration. A special thank you to Ms. Renelyn, Guest Service Manager, whose support and attention to detail made a big difference throughout our stay. She was warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. We highly recommend Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort for families and would happily return.
