We had a truly wonderful stay at Chanalai Romantica Resort and felt incredibly comfortable throughout our entire two-week vacation. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy our time in Phuket. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service and the genuine kindness of the entire staff. No matter the request or concern, there was always someone available to help and support us in creating an unforgettable holiday experience. The team truly goes above and beyond for their guests. Even though the hotel is located very centrally, you barely notice any noise from the busy streets outside, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere inside the resort is calm, relaxing, and welcoming. A small suggestion for improvement would be adding 1–2 zero-sugar drink options to the minibar. We are sure this probably would have been possible upon request as well, and we simply got our drinks from the pool bar or nearby supermarket instead. I have stayed in many hotels across different countries, and I can honestly say that the service here was among the best I have ever experienced. The warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff made this stay truly special for us. We would absolutely choose this hotel again anytime we plan another trip to Phuket and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with outstanding hospitality.

Our stay at Chanalai Romantica Kata Beach was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinel couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. As an adults-only hotel, it offers a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect choice for couples or anyone looking to escape the crowds. Our top-floor room had a very private balcony with lovely views towards the sea, which was a fantastic place to start and end each day. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently high-quality food. We also used room service several times, and every meal arrived promptly and was delicious. One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was the Thai cooking class. The chefs were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Thai cuisine. We learned so much and will definitely be recreating some of the dishes when we get home. The hotel’s happy hour is also well worth mentioning. The cocktails were excellent value and made the perfect accompaniment to watching the sunset. We also highly recommend the hotel’s Thai BBQ night. The food was superb, particularly the steak and kebab skewers, and the whole evening was a fantastic experience. Although Kata has plenty of restaurants, bars and things to do, it has a much more relaxed feel than some of Phuket’s busier resorts. That made it the ideal location for a peaceful holiday, with just the right balance of activity and tranquillity. Overall, Chanalai Romantica exceeded our expectations in every way. Exceptional service, fantastic food, a beautiful setting and genuinely caring staff made this a memorable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic stay in Kata Beach.

We had the most wonderful time here — five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough to describe how amazing our stay has been. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with an ice cream, a drink and the friendliest smiles. The staff truly went above and beyond, especially for my birthday. They decorated our room twice, went out of their way to find us in the hotel to sing me Happy Birthday, kindly gave us a late checkout, and even made two beautiful fruit cakes for me. It was such a thoughtful and special surprise. I’m additional to that, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, the pool is the perfect temperature and so well maintained, everything feels so relaxing and well looked after. It is in such a great location, so close to the beach and so many restaurants nearby, but the room is so quiet and peaceful. This place is worth every cent. I’m so grateful to the staff for making my birthday so special. We can’t wait to come back! Eye was absolutely incredible, such a big help thought out our whole stay!

This hotel is absolutely incredible. The location is amazing, being very local to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel amenities themselves are great too, the pool, pool bar, buffet breakfast and gym are all well kept and maintained, respected spaces by both staff and clientele. The rooms are spacious, clean kept and very comfortable with everything provided. Staff are always welcoming, meeting us with a smile and so very knowledgeable about local culture. They are very respectful and I would recommend this hotel to everyone, we always felt safe and at home. Kate was our main informant and helper and she always went above and beyond, making sure our stay was the best it could be. Thank you so much!! We will be back.

We enjoyed our visit to the Chanalai Romantica Resort during our recent visit to Phuket. The hotel is well located on Kata beach with the beach a short walk away from the hotel and lots of restaurants and shops surrounding it. The hotel staff are lovely and very attentive and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and the pool area is lovely. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket.
