⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. The entire resort is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were always spotless and perfectly cleaned every day by the housekeeping staff, who were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel staff truly exceeded our expectations. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and always did their very best to fulfill all our requests and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast and the food in the restaurant were excellent—fresh, delicious, and varied. The restaurant staff provided outstanding service and made every meal a pleasure. The pools are amazing, and the direct access to the beach is simply perfect. The beach itself is stunning, with soft sand, warm crystal-clear water, and a very gentle slope, making it ideal for families and relaxing swims. Despite the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, everything you need can be found just a few minutes away. Without a doubt, this hotel deserves five stars. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable—we would love to come back!

This was our very first holiday in Phuket, and with such an extensive selection of hotels available, choosing the right place to stay was not easy. In the end, we decided on this hotel because of its excellent reviews, attractive beachfront location and very reasonable value for money. We stayed at the hotel in June 2026 for 12 days and 11 nights. Overall, our experience was truly wonderful, and I would summarise it as follows: Location – the hotel enjoys an excellent location close to the airport and directly on the beach. Within easy walking distance, there are numerous restaurants, bars, currency exchange offices, scooter rental shops and massage salons. Conveniently, there are ATMs and a small 7-Eleven just across the road, while a larger 7-Eleven is only about a five-minute walk away. Resort grounds – the resort itself is spacious, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully arranged, offering plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for guests to relax in comfort. There are two very clean swimming pools, one of them with a pool bar, as well as two massage areas, a breakfast restaurant and a seafood restaurant. The beach is separated from the resort only by a low stone wall, which makes the whole setting feel wonderfully open and connected to the sea. Accommodation – we stayed in a third-floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool and offering a partial sea view. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It included a minibar, and drinking water was replenished daily. All essential toiletries were provided, along with a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and other thoughtful amenities. Housekeeping was excellent, and the room was immaculately cleaned every day. Dining – our stay included breakfast, which was served in a lovely restaurant right beside the beach. The selection was generous and varied, with hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk, pastries and, of course, an egg station. Although some items naturally repeated during our stay, the choice was so wide that we still did not manage to try everything. The service was warm and pleasant, and having breakfast with a sea view was a real highlight of each morning. For lunch and dinner, we chose to explore restaurants outside the resort, as we wanted to experience authentic Thai cuisine in places popular with locals. Staff – the entire team was exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful, and we genuinely felt that every guest was treated with care and appreciation. On our second-to-last day, I experienced stomach problems, and the reception staff kindly provided the necessary medicine free of charge. It helped me feel better, and I truly appreciated their thoughtful assistance. It is also worth mentioning that the hotel offers a spa, fitness centre, billiards, table tennis, a children’s play area and, in general, everything guests might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Although we visited Phuket outside the high season, we were extremely fortunate with the weather. During our entire 12-day stay, it rained only once, and even then only for about four hours. In conclusion, we would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel team for making our holiday so memorable and enjoyable. If we ever return to Phuket, we would not hesitate to stay again at the Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa.

The resort is rated as a 4-star property, but I personally rate it 3 stars because it simply doesn't deserve four! We booked three rooms and were assigned options on the fourth floor (with no elevator). We informed the front desk that my mother is an elderly woman who cannot climb the stairs and requested a room on the first floor. However, the receptionist refused, claiming that all first-floor rooms were fully booked. When we told her we wanted to cancel our reservation, she quickly changed her tune, saying she suddenly found available rooms on the first floor—and even gave us multiple options to choose from! Why lie to us in the first place, only to magically find several vacant rooms the moment we threatened to cancel? The woman at the reception was far from pleasant; she spoke to us with a cold, resentful attitude. Out of courtesy, I won’t mention her name. Breakfast was a huge disappointment—it felt like it came straight out of a convenience store. The juices and baked goods were far from fresh, and the coffee was practically undrinkable! I also didn't appreciate their towel policy: you are restricted to just one towel per day, with no replacements even if it gets completely soaked. On top of that, they charged a 5,000 THB security deposit—something I’ve never been asked to pay even at 5-star resorts. There is nothing in the rooms that warrants such a high amount. At check-out, they forced us to pay over 300 THB for an orange juice taken from the room's mini-bar, which wasn't even listed on the menu. This felt like outright theft, but I paid it under pressure just so I wouldn't miss my flight. I won't deny that the resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and in a fantastic location, but some of the staff are completely unfit to represent the place. Personally, I do not recommend it at all—especially if you are traveling with elderly companions. My rating: 3 stars.

We have now stayed at Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort three times and have already booked our fourth visit for next year. That perhaps says more than any review ever could. This is not simply a hotel we enjoy visiting; it has become one of our family’s most treasured places. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lovely rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds, spacious upgraded bathrooms and countless thoughtful touches. Everything is designed to make guests feel comfortable and completely at home. Breakfast is genuinely outstanding. The selection is extraordinary, with wonderful Thai, Western, continental and fresh fruit options. The bacon deserves a special mention: it is quite honestly the best we have had at any hotel anywhere in the world! The breakfast team are warm, efficient and always welcoming. The Seaside Kitchen restaurant is another highlight. The Caesar salad is exceptional, the seafood platter is superb, and the children’s menu is thoughtfully designed, affordable and appealing. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly, attentive and extremely well trained. For families, the Kids Club is fantastic. Kimberley is an absolute asset to the resort. Our daughter looks forward to seeing her every day, and the warmth and care she shows the children make an enormous difference to our holiday. Eris at the pool is another wonderful member of the team whose friendliness and energetic Zumba sessions always make us smile. The front-of-house staff are immaculate, gracious and endlessly helpful. In fact, the entire team radiates warmth, quiet professionalism and genuine Thai hospitality. From the staff maintaining the gardens and pools to those cleaning the beachfront each morning, it is obvious that enormous care and pride go into every corner of the property. The location is exceptionally convenient. There is a 7-Eleven and a chemist directly opposite the entrance, making it easy to pick up drinks, snacks, toiletries or anything else you may need. The resort is also perfectly positioned for visiting wonderful nearby venues on foot. The Beach Cuisine, a lovely French bistro, is only about 50 metres along the beach. Carpe Diem Beach Club is approximately 100 metres away and is an absolute must-visit. Its Sunday brunch is not to be missed and has become one of the highlights of our trips. For anyone who enjoys snorkelling, there is no need to sacrifice an entire day of your holiday on a lengthy excursion. Simply walk onto the beach and arrange a longtail boat to Rock Island (THB 2000 for 3), approximately half an hour away. We saw an extraordinary array of marine life, including Napoleon fish, parrotfish and crown-of-thorns starfish, with scuba divers exploring beneath us. Best of all, you can be back on your sun lounger in around two hours rather than spending a full, tiring day on an organised tour. We have walked the entire length of Bang Tao Beach, and this resort stands out as the cleanest and best maintained. Its beachfront location is magnificent, the pools are beautiful, and the atmosphere manages to feel both relaxed and luxurious. The sunsets deserve a special mention. They are so spectacular that no photograph can ever truly do them justice. Watching the sky transform over Bang Tao Beach each evening is an unforgettable experience that makes the resort feel genuinely magical. What makes this hotel truly exceptional, however, is its heart. There are many beautiful resorts in Thailand, but very few create the sense of belonging we experience here. Returning feels less like checking into a hotel and more like coming home. Our family absolutely adores Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort. It is our happy place, our most special holiday destination and a resort we recommend without hesitation. We are already counting down the days until our fourth stay. Thank you to the entire team for giving our family so many precious memories. We cannot wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach! The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were delicious, with plenty of choices every day. The spa was excellent – very relaxing and professional. Our room was cleaned daily and always spotless. A special thank you to Tes at the reception, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. She made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!
