Our stay at Kantary Bay Hotel was absolutely lovely and such a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very neat, clean, and comfortable, with incredibly comfy beds that made it easy to fully relax. One unexpected but very appreciated touch was having both a microwave and a fridge in the room, super handy and not something you always get at hotels. Drinking water was refilled daily, which we really appreciated, and the overall look and feel of the hotel felt like it was straight out of the 90s, in the best, most charming way possible. It has character, warmth, and a nostalgic feel that made the stay extra special. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and the bottomless coffee was a definite highlight. The location is also very convenient, with a 7/11, plenty of restaurants, and massage parlours close by. The views are stunning, especially from the rooftop pool, absolutely worth spending time up there. A huge bonus is that guests at Kantary Bay have access to the sister hotel, Cape Panwa, which is truly out of this world and feels incredibly luxurious. One small tip for future guests: don’t make the same mistake we did and attempt to walk to Cape Panwa from Kantary Bay, the hill between them is very steep. Rather make use of the complimentary shuttle service they provide. A comfortable, charming stay with incredible views and thoughtful extras.

My wife and I have just finished our second stay at the Kantary Bay Hotel in Cape Panwa, as usual we were thoroughly impressed by its charm, comfort, and warm hospitality. The property has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for anyone looking to unwind away from the busier parts of Phuket. Room & Facilities: The suite was spacious, clean, and well-equipped — more like a small apartment than a typical hotel room. Having a kitchenette and a private balcony was a big plus, especially for longer stays. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout my visit. Service: The staff are exceptional — friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Every request was handled promptly, and you could genuinely feel that they cared about guest comfort, with great help at the front desk from Urai, Bow & Jingreed. Amenities & Location: Although the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, guests have free access to the private beach at its sister property, Cape Panwa Hotel, just a few minutes away via a frequent shuttle. The beach there is beautiful, clean, and never overcrowded. Back at Kantary Bay, the rooftop pool offers lovely sea views and a relaxing vibe. Dining: The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of options ranging from local Thai dishes to international favourites. The onsite café and nearby seafood restaurants made dining easy and enjoyable. Overall Experience: Kantary Bay offers fantastic value for money — quiet, comfortable, and full of character. It’s not a brand-new luxury resort, but what it lacks in modern flash it makes up for in warmth, cleanliness, and genuine service. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to couples, families, or solo travellers who prefer a peaceful escape over the hustle and bustle of Patong. Will definitely stay again!

Such a nice place to stay in, all staff members are great. Clean room, towels smells good and pool is fresh water. Kik, nicha and jingreed are really amazing and friendly.

Awesome place. Bit far from airport, but it worth because of view that you will get, comfort and tranquility Hotel has it's own facility's includes grocery, souvenir shop and most importantly private beach (10 minutes on foot, but totally worth it). Service perfect as well. I want to highlight assistance of reception team. Kik, Unai, Nadear - thank you a ton for your assist. Trying to follow our needs and helping to resolve them. Much appreciate that 😇 So as conclusion great feet between cost and value. Recommend

We had a great time staying at Kantary Bay, the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, great location, staff were super friendly and helpful especially Jingreed, Nicha and Bow. Delicious breakfast buffet.
