My husband and I love this resort! We came for our honeymoon and the service here is amazing! The food is excellent too with lots of fancy restaurants and also great coffee shops. All of the workers are so sweet especially our coffee lady Esther she is so sweet! We loved our stay here and they were all so helpful. We loved all of the pools and room service and all of the drinks and swim up bars. Also they have tons of excursions we loved the three reefs snorkeling. We would recommend staying here! The only thing is we experienced some trouble with wifi in our room

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. No reservations, just walk in for all the restaurants except the Japanese Show. Food is pretty good. People are very friendly. Nice rooms. Choose Preffered. Lots of extras. The beach was nice but getting in is hard. Lots of coral. Bring water shoes. Snorkeling is fabulous, especially under the pier. We saw puffer fish, barracuda, stingrays, chubs and many other pretty fish.

Most people forget that Cozumel is a very small island in the Caribbean. With that, you will have limited resources, a property constantly under attack from the environment and a different level of refinement than a fully developed city. Secrets is a really great resort and sits amazingly in one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are no waves from ocean movement as they all move toward the Yucatán away from the resort. You have boat traffic wakes but are very small. It’s completely surreal at night when you feel like you’re more at a lake than at the oceanfront. So many stars at night!! The staff are all so unbelievably nice and want to accommodate your every need. The food is safe, good and they have lots of variety. We’ve been there 6 times over the last 3 years and have never gotten any food related illnesses. That’s huge! The entertainment team including Luz and Carlos are so awesome!! They have so many different activities including beach/pool volleyball, pool bingo, fire shows, movies, bands, karaoke, dancing, beach yoga, how-to make drink tutorials and so many other activities. Amilcar at the front lobby is the absolute best at attending to your needs. He sets up transportation around the island, has lots of connections and will get you what you need. We are scuba divers and being able to be picked up by the dive boats right from the pier at the resort is the best!! The reefs here are so alive with sea life that you will see things that will blow your mind. If you don’t dive but like to snorkel you’ll not be disappointed at just staying at the beach. Secrets has listened to our recommendations in the past. This time we found that they completely fixed the water pressure and temperature issues we experienced in the past. So happy about that. They are consistent in maintaining the property and is a full time job. Give Secrets Cozumel a shot and you will find yourself a slice of heaven that will call you back again and again. When you go off the resort to move around the island, you will realize that Secrets is really a crazy luxury resort. I have never felt unsafe anywhere on the island and all the locals would help you in any way. Suggestions for Secrets: Starlink Internet, keep the pool levels to the skimmers, pay your employees more as they are the lifeblood of your resort.

The rooms are extremely outdated. The AC didn’t draw out the humidity the bed sheets and all our clothes were wet. The room was not clean - hair weave in the shower, dried blood on bathroom door, the refrigerator in the room didn’t work. We paid extra for the swim out pool from patio (not private) and my swim suit was stolen from off the patio chair overnight. The food was great, however, no sandy beaches, all rocky. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here and will not come back to this resort.

My husband and I stayed at Secrets Aura in Cozumel to beat the winter in the Northeast. The resort was lovely! Our room was clean, comfy and spacious, and the beach and pools were gorgeous. However - it's the people that made it exceptional! We ate most of our meals at Oceana, and Rosana, Cristel and their team (Ricardo, Omar, Luis, Gabriel, Elizabeth and Yonatan) went our of their way to make us feel welcome and serve the delicious food. I'm a bit of a pain - I'm always making special requests - and every morning Cristel would say, "Can I get you decaf with warm milk? And your favorite enchiladas with no onions and extra sauce?". The last day was my husband's birthday, and Rosana arranged for him to have a "pancake" birthday cake with a huge sparkler. It was a hoot and he felt so special! I also have to shout out the entertainment team. We loved playing the poolside games - name that tune, the movie game and bingo. Artemio, Wendy and Luz kept us laughing and engaged. We hope to come back!
