I went to Cancun for a vacation with 12 members of my family, and the trip was more wonderful than we could have imagined. All of this was thanks to this amazing resort. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The restaurants were excellent and offered a luxurious dining experience. There were stunning views and plenty of comfortable places to relax. The food was absolutely delicious. The pools were beautiful, with fun activities available throughout the day. At night, there were many entertainment shows suitable for all ages. I can honestly say that this is a complete resort that offers exceptional value for money at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The resort is beautiful, with stunning views, spacious suites, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to the bartenders at the Lobby Bar—Johana, Luis, and Orlando. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive every day. Their great personalities and outstanding service made our evenings even more enjoyable. They always remembered our drinks, greeted us with a smile, and created a fun and inviting atmosphere. The staff throughout the resort worked hard to make our stay memorable, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for great service, beautiful accommodations, and a wonderful vacation experience. We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Sunset Princess! The resort is beautiful, with well-maintained pools, lush tropical gardens, and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The food offered a great variety, and the entertainment every evening was excellent. The beach had seaweed during our stay, but we understand it was due to the seasonal sargassum, and the hotel staff worked hard to clean it every day. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the grand sunset princess for 6 days. The stay was excellent, the territory, restaurants, pools, bars and staff were great. It was our first vacation with my partner and we both enjoyed how it went smoothly. However we spent so much time for check in. We arrived very early in the morning and were told that rooms will be ready by 3 pm, but we can check around 2:30 if it’s ready, that’s what we did and after were informed that they need another 30 min as the room not ready yet. We came at 3:10 pm to check in and there were a lot of people and we spent another 40 min waiting to just have a room keys. That was annoying. I understand that it’s not the hotel problem, but we were tired and just wanted to go to the room. Also nobody mentioned anything about the shows or the club that they had in the property. We founded out it from other guests who were staying there. The beach is beautiful, but seaweed all over it, also very rocky bottom, so we didn’t really swam in the sea, mostly in the swimming pools. Also be aware that so many sellers want to sell you some activities and going to Coco Bongo, we did 2 activities, but it was crazy how everyday they ask if you are ready to go. We also saw a lot of animals around the hotel, that was amazing to see how they feel comfortable to just walking around. Other than that, everything was good and we might be back.

Visited in 2024, someone clearly went overboard on their pretentious renovations because they clearly compromised everything else. The harassed us with through their royal holiday vacation club before we could even know what was happening they sent a sales rep to have breakfast with us on our first morning and then proceeded to keep us an additional 2.5hrs trying to sell us these packages. when we finally had had it and asked to leave they sent another rep to try to offer us more crap. The food is the same everywhere everyday and the restaurants are just serving the same thing but plated. It tastes like it was squeezed from a tube and then shaped into the food it's supposed to be. The premium section does not have premium liquor and we were made to clean the pool ourselves. They have put the door pass in your bracelets and we had more than 10 times that we had issues getting into our room. We were also super shocked how the staff didn't care about anything and also everyone gave you a different answer for the same question. You couldn't pay us to stay here again. The seaweed on the beach was so bad there was no way we were going to be able to swim which is not a problem we understand it is out of anyone's hands however they let us upgrade to platinum knowing that section was closest to the beach we had to downgrade to get away from the smell and they refused to refund us the $1500 we paid to upgrade. You can tell they had high vacancy because the sales people were beyond aggressive to the point we spent A LOT of time in our room. We waited 40 minutes for a burger in the snack shack where they only sell burgers, hotdogs and nachos while we watched the animals come into the dining area and sit on tables eating leftover food the staff never cleaned up. We went back thinking we would be able to somewhat recreate our last visit but they genuinely ruined our vacation and we could not wait to get back home.
