To be honest it has been the worst all inclusive we've stayed in. The drinks are LAME! They do not prepare any drinks correctly, they have premixed liquids, which they just pour in a plastic glass with a lot of ice and a ton of bad quality liquor and then they put the dirty spoon from other drinks to mix yours, even if the tastes shock. They do not blend anything, the tap beer is also very bad, only xx Lager. Service is awful, is like they are making you a favor. Also most of the restaurants are not included in the "basic" all inclusive. Like "all inclusive" doesn't mean ALL INCLUSIVE. So there is only 2 buffet Restaurants at opposite sides of the Hotel where you can eat, or the "fast food" court la placita and hippie chick. Everything has very long lines, other restaurants or bars (even some coffee shops) are just for the "pyramid" clients, or for the subscription clients. We stayed there for 2 weeks in which there was only one lift (elevator) working for a 6 floor building and hundreds of guests... It was very annoying. The only good thing is our Minibar was refilled every day, so we got some bohemia beers and cans of coke from there. We also had issues with the toilet (in both rooms) and with the AC, the good thing is that it was fixed fairly quick. The windows and doors are not sound proof so you can hear the drunks and kids at all times inside your room. To be honest it was the most expensive vacation we've had. And I did not see it was worthy. Food was mediocre and repetitive.

I stayed here for 7 nights and was lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with the best view, which made the experience very special. Overall, the resort is decent, but there is definitely room for improvement in customer service—specifically the bartenders, who could use more professional training. The Highlights: • Gelato and You: By far my favorite part of the resort and some delicious ice cream flavours! • Coyote Bites: Excellent food and service. • Le Buffet: A solid choice for breakfast. • Amenities: The proximity to the beach is great. There are multiple pools and bars, and the afternoon open buffet (tacos, burgers, pizza) is very convenient. • Fire show Areas for Improvement: • Dining: My experiences at Maki Taco and Hacienda Sarape were disappointing. • Service: Bar staff training needs to be a priority. It was an average stay overall, made better by the view and the great snacks!

We had an overall very good stay at Grand Oasis Cancun, and I would rate it 4 stars. The food was great, and the variety of restaurants was excellent. There were many dining options, and we enjoyed trying different cuisines throughout our stay. The beach was beautiful, the activities were fun and well organized, and the location of the resort is very good, close to everything in Cancun. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. The employees’ behavior was excellent — friendly, polite, and always willing to help, which made our vacation much more enjoyable. However, the room was the weak point of our stay. The beds were double beds, which are not comfortable enough for two people. The bathroom did not have a vanity, which made it inconvenient, and the sink got clogged from time to time. Room service was average — acceptable, but not great. Overall, this is a lively resort with great food, a beautiful beach, and excellent staff. If the rooms were improved, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

I spent 7 days (Jan 2026) here at the Grand Oasis Cancun. It was an awesome experience. Our room was clean. I read someone making comments about roaches. Im quite surprised as we did not experience this at all. Rooms were clean. Yes, other comments here are valid, such as walls being thin in rooms, noise does subside at about 1am. The main hall food court had food to accommodate the masses so meals were the same all week. It is what it is. The staff at food hall were very friendly and attentive especially Marcello Guzman. The restaurants that needed reservations were good, Los Lunas restaurant did not disappoint, Carlos our waiter was awesome and made our last dinner there a pleasant one. The bathrooms in room were clean, we noticed that service was better and on point the first two days and the night before we left. However anything we needed for room was provided. All you need to do is ask. The staff dont know unless you tell them there is an issue, this goes without saying. Outdoor bathroom spots were pretty clean, the only issue I had was, there were no soap in the dispensers, in the outside bathrooms by pools, but again I conveyed issue to staff and it was addressed in a timely fashion. The elevator is a bit of a pain. Only one seems to work at hotel we stayed at. In order for elevator to get there faster you have to press both up and down buttons. But you can always take the stairs to get to your room which we had no issues with. For seniors or guests with mobility issues, this can pose an inconvenience. The only issues that we saw that need some improving. The outdoor pool chairs get snatched up by guests that place towels on them, but never end up using them which is unfair to guests that are actually by the pool. Staff should moniter this situation and remove those towels from the chairs if they haven't been used within 20-30 minutes. It will give guests that are there, to use them accordingly. The other issue was booking reservations at restaurants that were included in the package at no extra cost. Our suggestion is to book all these as soon as you arrive with the concierse. We had a very hard time finding availability through the actual app they make you download to help you navigate while you are there. All in all, it was a great experience for my partner and I. The beach and resort is beautiful and clean. We had no issues with cleanliness at all.

Economical place to take family for a Cancun all-inclusive. Get to the beach early. There are 100 beach chairs for 100 guests. Same goes for the pool... Get to the pool early and secure your seating. If you're not up by 6:30am to put a towel on a chair in either area, you will get nothing. Overall the resort was pretty great. Disappointed the pool closed at 8pm, daily. Fitness center is not 24-hours. Also, no towels or restrooms.. North side of the resort is for the adults, dancing, and party go'ers. There is a kid's daycare/rec area, but it's pretty dismal. Never saw one kid in there, the whole time 5-days.
