We truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff is absolutely wonderful and so very dedicated to making sure each guest enjoys their trip. Our bartenders Henry and Joel never let our drinks run dry. Wilberto and Nieves were our breakfast servers and they were so attentive and intuitive. Henry and Luis have beaming smiles and make you feel like the only people there when they are taking care of you. These people bust their butts to make sure we are happy and it was absolutely my pleasure to tip them all of my pesos through out the week. Please bring pesos for the staff and take good care of them, as they take such wonderful care of us. Thank you everyone for making this weekend with my mom so sweet and memorable!!

Beach was amazing! The room had a fantastic view and was a good price. Its tricky to find a big enough room as we are a family of 5. The pools were clean and drink service was excellent! We appreciated Victors quick service on the beach! Restaurants were really good! Noe gave incredible service at the Mexican restaurant! Buffet Food could be better for sure.

I just got back from a vacation with my four-year-old daughter. It was just the two of us, it was my daughter’s first all inclusive vacation, and we will not be going back. I read the reviews and went in with an open mind and a mentality to make the best of things, but it was very challenging. There were three families ahead of us in line for check in and it took 1.5hrs. We were told our room would be ready in a half hour, so we changed, went for a quick swim, and went back to get our room key. We were then told the hotel was fully sold out and they didn’t have a room for us. They are still checking other families in while this was happening. I explained that I made a reservation last month, and wondered why everyone else was getting checked in. The evening manager was apologetic and upgraded us. We finally felt safe and settled…. For almost a day. The daytime manager called the next day and said we could only stay in the room they provided us with if I paid an extra $750 USD. I said no, asked that they honour what they said at check in, but they moved us to another room in another building. The rooms themselves are dated, there are broken fixtures (we had a soaker tub with a missing hand spout, and a damaged door lock), and we woke up to a cockroach in our room. I tried keeping the room cool at night to prevent cockroaches from coming in, but the sheets are quite thin so it was very uncomfortable. Buffet food was generally okay, worst I’ve had in Mexico, but marginally better than resorts Cuba. A lot of items run out fast though. We went to the Italian restaurant for breakfast at 9am and were told they were out of bacon. The kids club changed their activities without notice, so we weren’t able to do crafts. My daughter also didn’t want to go down any of the slides because they looked dirty (I explained it was just water stains, but they were browning). Overall, this stay was far more stressful than relaxing. Between the check-in issues, being moved after being told we were settled, and the condition of the rooms, I would not return and would not recommend this resort, especially to parents travelling with young children for the first time.

This will be a long one. I have looked at reviews prior to our trip and they are confusing because they are all over the place. I want to make a detailed review based on our experience. Overall this place is a hard earned 3 stars but not more than that. We traveled with a breastfed 9 month old. Food: The food is subpar its definatly not what you pay for as the food has no taste you will not go hungry but you will not enjoy the buffet. ****also the line to get to the buffet is long anytime you go and the food is not worth the wait. ***Restaurants*** *The Mexican restaurant is full out disgusting the food has no taste. I had better Mexican food. *The Steakhouse is AMAZING everything about it is amazing. *The Italian is also subpar we didnt finish anything and went to the buffet. *The French restaurant - we were not able to go as they do not allow children there even small babies and all have dress code which seems unreasonable in a 3 star resort. The pools and the beach are great with good bars and fast service. However: seems like some staff will have rules bend for people that speak Spanish and will not for english speaking as it was noted in the buffet when a Spanish speaking couple entered in wet bathing suit and they refused entry to the buffet to an english speaking couple wearing dry bathing suits. Rooms: We were a group of 26 people and in one of the couples room the ceiling in the bathroom just dropped. The tubs were re-sealed many many times and its visible. The rooms definitely need some updating. Bring babies to the resort: The resort is kids friendly but not baby friendly. Crib was requested and promised but on arrival they said they dont have any. Also, no freezer in the rooms to store frozen breast milk but did allow us to store it at the front desk small freezer after several tries. OVERALL: We Will not be coming back to this place as our second hotel was Rio Playacar and it is far better than this one but is also more expensive. If you have no little kids and dont care about the food quality then I think this place is the perfect combination for you. Like I said I took into consideration that it is a three star resort.

We have been to south countries from last 15 years. And out of all Mexico was the favourite. We never felt this disappointed before coz everywhere we went they did care for the customer and their need. This time with the crown paradise, we had very bad experience. We were there to enjoy but they turned everything so disappointing. First off Guest service was very poor, only one girl serving everyone. One day they didn’t put water on our room. so we called them for water but the room service guy argued with us for water . Like seriously that was insane. Worst thing is, can you imagine only 30% of people were able to get the pool chair or beach chair, that is also you have to wake up early morning 5-6am and go there and reserve. I was there with my 1 years old and spent my whole time staying on the sand, like a homeless. I never felt this cheap before. The Lineup was everywhere. We had to lineup for 45 min to get breakfast. That’s too much . My toddler was crying with hunger but none cares. The servers oh my god, they have limited servers so they’re always on rush. You have to ask for cutlery, spoon, everything. It’s not servers fault, it’s the management who has short staff while they know the flow of the guest they have. They always have a data how many are coming and how to manage. But this property ignores the customer. For the price we spent to be there definitely not worth. Will never be back again and never recommend anyone to be there.
