Ignacio truly made our stay in Cancun memorable. He is an outstanding bartender—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. From the moment you sit down, he makes you feel welcome and taken care of, remembering preferences and always serving drinks with a smile. His energy and professionalism added so much to our experience, and he’s absolutely one of the highlights of this resort. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful and relaxing. The beach location is incredible—pristine, well-kept, and not overcrowded at all, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the ocean. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a calm, laid-back atmosphere rather than a party scene, as there isn’t much nightlife on property. A few things to note for future guests: food portions across the resort tend to be on the smaller side, so you may find yourself ordering more than one dish. The gym closes at 8 PM, which felt a bit early for anyone who prefers evening workouts. Koi Oriental, while nicely presented, didn’t quite live up to the hype and felt overrated compared to other dining options. That said, the service—especially from Ignacio—along with the stunning beach truly stands out. If you’re looking for a peaceful Cancun getaway with excellent service and a bartender who makes every drink (and moment) better, this resort delivers.

I stayed at the Grand Park Royal Cancún and had an amazing time!! Something that stood out was Edgar, a very friendly worker who worked at the ice cream store in the hotel. He is very friendly, helpful and he takes care preparing snacks. He’s very good at making everybody’s day and he always is the highlight of everybody’s day. I’m allergic to gluten and I was able to eat so much because the workers had so many safe gluten free options at almost every restaurant of the resort. The workers at every single restaurant were so friendly helpful and cautious that everything was gluten free and safe for me to eat. Overall, I would highly suggest this resort as a beautiful family friendly beautiful place for family’s to spend their vacation in cancun, with beautiful pools, sunrises, sunsets ,and most of all the beautiful clear beach water with everything you will need in the resort. This resort is also an amazing resort for people with allergy’s especially for someone with a gluten allergy. The workers really go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good trip ,and everyone has something safe to eat. Thanks again Edgar!! And thanks to all the very helpful workers. Special mention to Alejandro, Jessica, Alfonso, Jesus and Edgar.

His professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality made every meal and visit to the bar something we looked forward to. Each of them contributed to making our stay memorable with their friendliness, efficiency, and positive attitudes. Whether it was attentive table service, expertly made drinks, or simply taking the time to check in and ensure everything was perfect, they all made us feel well taken care of. Damian was hands down one of the best parts of our entire trip. He took great care of us and clearly cared about doing a good job. He was warm, relational, and genuinely kind. My husband and I visited during our honeymoon and had an amazing time, but we especially cannot say enough good things about Damian. Overall, the service was good, and I truly have only positive things to say. Our only less-than-great experience was at the Mexican restaurant, and that had nothing to do with the waitstaff themselves. It was clear they were understaffed, which led to longer waits and service that felt rushed. That said, we felt genuinely appreciated by the resort, especially during our hibachi dinner, where we were surprised with a dessert that neither my husband nor I had requested. Easily one of our favorite parts of the trip was getting to know Damian and experience his genuine craft.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Park Royal Cancún! The resort is beautiful, right on a pristine stretch of Caribbean beach with great pools, friendly staff, and plenty of dining options. The all-inclusive experience really let us relax and enjoy every moment of our vacation. Our absolute favorite restaurant was Le Grand Prime — the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. What made it truly memorable was our waitress, Alicia! She was the perfect embodiment of great service and personality! Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, Alicia made every meal special, and we loved having her as our waitress. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
