The Pyramid Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort with adult-only exclusive areas. There is great diversity of all-inclusive culinary options: gourmet restaurants, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, international, seafood, sushi, and snacks.

The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in a variety of restaurants. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. We have been traveling throughout Mexico for the past two weeks, staying at several wonderful hotels, including Dreams Tulum, CasaBakal Bacalar, and My Blue Holbox. Every hotel welcomed us with kindness and excellent service. That is why arriving at The Pyramid at Grand Oasis Cancún has been such a disappointment. Ironically, this has been the most expensive hotel of our trip and, so far, the worst experience. The photos clearly show that there is not a single complimentary shaded area on the beach or by the pool. All regular lounge chairs are fully exposed to the sun, while the only shaded areas are premium daybeds that require an extra fee. Families with babies were trying to keep them cool in the shallow water because there was nowhere shaded to stay comfortably. Other guests were covering their heads with towels to escape the sun. And no, the few palm trees do not provide usable shade. We have traveled all over the world and never—even at budget hotels—have we seen a resort that charges extra for the only shaded areas while offering no complimentary alternative. What made the situation even worse was the concierge’s attitude. Instead of showing empathy, he simply said, “People travel here looking for the sun.” When we explained that enjoying the sun is very different from having no shaded option, he dismissively replied that we were free to complain if we wanted. As Brazilian guests, we also felt far less welcomed than we had at every other hotel during our trip. The service was cold, without smiles, and lacked the hospitality expected from a luxury resort. We have literally just arrived, and our first impression could not have been worse. We sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and that the rest of our stay reflects the luxury experience this resort promises.

Absolutely Horrible! Let's start with false advertising, In their website, they offer a casino in two nightclubs… which they’ve been closed for a while. I paid everything in advance of course I was informed that an additional $19 will be pay at the facility… when I arrived, the additional fee to pay ( supposedly taxes) was about $70. They also offered me a free jungle Cruise ride, which is a party boat, but it was not free, I had to pay $13 per person. My second day I realized that it was not electrical switch anywhere in the bathroom to blow dry my hair. They had a huge mirror in the room, but not electrical switch around the mirror either. They don’t serve mimosas until 9:30 am in the morning. My second day they shot the water down until 6 AM without notifying anyone. The customer service was bad. I try to shop three times and their gift shop, the first time they kicked me out because it was holding a drink, the second time because I was wet coming from the swimming pool and the third time they asked me to leave my bag out the door wish I thought that was very offensive because I I’m not a thief… how they expect a woman to leave their purses or bags out the door??… and I can go on and on, but the only thing I have to say that this place is not recommended please do not waste your money if you want to have a nice and fun vacation. Is nothing fun to do upthere, everything closed at 10:30 pm, no night activities. Not recommend this place at all.

Don’t let the ratings scare you. This is definitely the best resort we’ve ever been too. The Pyramid is fabulous in every aspect tbh. Great stuff, great location, very nice and clean. Food is great at as well but could be a little better. There are 17 restaurants available for the pyramid guests and we were able to get food for the 5 days without reserving any of them. Our stay have been awesome and we’ll definitely be returning back next year.

I am giving 4 star because their food range for general restaurant is very limited people who eat chicken should not consider this resort as they have almost nothing or very less chicken here whereas the sea front room has bit outdated bathrooms whereas people who relay on elevator for wheel chair or baby stroller should not choose this hotel as other then the praymid itself building there is some stair you need to go up manually which is really painful bcz we compromise a bit to change room to praymid which has partial beach view but room are way better and good bathroom so that change workef best for us with one year baby. Within Pyramid Booking, you would have access to premium restaurants which were super good, especially Banazuza, Careyes, and Sakura, all of which required booking in advance. The staff was extremely good, and the fragrance at Pyramid was very good .Overall, not a bad experience as there were few other restaurants we were supposed to try, but we couldn't get much time. But Cafe del Mar has a good view outside and has a side pool down the seaside. The beaches are all the same in the resort, so that's Good. Overall satisfied, but if we had known some of these options beforehand, we might have planned better. But I'm okay with what I paid for it.

I don’t know where to start! First day we got wrong rooms, after correcting it and getting the rooms we requested, the toilet overflow, and the whole room was flooded, so we had to change the room again! The next day, after the room was dried, when we went back to the room to get the rest of our belongings, our shoes were gone! We had to go to the customer service to get our shoes back so we can actually have shoes on ! Then there was a power outage for over an hour in this heat! The next day, another power outage and they don’t have generators to provide light or air-conditioning for the rooms and when you go to the customer service, they deny the whole power outage, very delusional ! Also, some of the regular restaurants won’t let anyone in under 18! There is a service fee of $20 USD for each service if you need to order room service! Absolutely a horrible experience! They also denied the refund so we can go to another hotel and their response was : No refund! if you have a problem, take it to the Mexican electricity company . That is the response from the hotel manager! On the last day of our trip, the ceiling of the restroom collapsed. If you want to enjoy your vacation , stay away from this hotel and go to another one so you can enjoy the safe and cool rooms and good service for your vacation.
