The rooms are mid grade but the bathroom is very large with two basins and a shower. This helps a lot because clothes get wet often and need to be managed. However, drying the clothes was a problem because there is no arrangement for laundry. We had to dry them in the shower area and the window. This meant clothes would remain wet for over 24 hours. The marble flooring in the washroom and bedroom is also practical. The lobby, swimpools, restaurants, beach and facility are very good and impressive. Plenty of food options which are practically unlimited, including items from the coffee shop. Some restaurants are exluded from the package so have to pay carte prices. Still, the inclusive restaurants are more than enough. We smashed the cold coffees and ice creams. The sushi is very high quality, highly recommend. The entertainment is also very good for keeping nights busy. I highly recommend the Michael Jackson tribute show, super energetic and we'll performed. Access the beach easily. Note that the neighboring beach provides access and shortcut to the ferry. Bargian a lot during local shopping. They will most likely reduce the price by 40%. R2 bus is very convenient for travel. Do your shopping from the local stores.

Honestly, I came back for Careyes Restaurant. The food is phenomenal. It is adult only but the loop hole is if you order bottles of wine a la carte, they can reserve the backroom for you. Our waiters Francisco, Fidel, Marcos, and Abraham were exceptional explaining all the courses. Chef Luis is only 30 years old and is cooking up a storm with these meals. Manager Dulce, was such a sweet heart in accommodating us with our kids. The lamb, or beef filet are a must. 4 course meal has me feeling really fancy and the wine... the wine was delicious. Definitely the highlight of my trip. But I did mention this restaurant was the reason why I stayed here again.

My family and I stayed at the Sens Cancun Feb.13th to the 20th. We just had an amazing time! Would love to go there again. With our 6-year old and 8-year old, we needed this getaway. The resort is beautiful from the front, to the back with the pools, the beach, the fun atmosphere, the kids club, and the adults only area :) There was a variety of alcoholic drinks. Our bracelet let us have access to quite a few restaurants, the adults only spa (so it depends on the package that you are purchasing). Other highlights included the yummy food at the buffets (early!) the restaurants (outdoor, pizzeria, Japanese, The White Box, early reservations help!), ice cream shop, the cappuccinos, the Pirate show, the Michael Jackson show, and the hammocks on the beach! A lot of staff members speak English, which was helpful and using Google translate helped us get by :) My son and I were sick for a day or two…we think it was from the cheese sauce in a pasta dish at The White Box…maybe avoid that dish, but very tasty restaurant overall! Wanted to mention people who stood out: Julio (photo of him and myself- bartender at Sensoria Spa- my husband and I love your energy and friendliness!), our breakfast servers Guadalupe, Modesto, and evening server Rony, and Isaac (refilled our drinks in our room each day). We met many great staff members, eg., cleaning staff, but could not get all the names! Muchos gracias!

It’s a beautifully designed hotel. Gorgeous. With a black bracelet booking you can access many restaurants and buffets with tons of fresh food options. The dress code at some restaurants was too strict for a beach vacation. And many restaurants didn’t have availability. Kinda defeats the purpose of having access to them. The service overall isn’t great, most things are self serve like towels, drinks, coffee, and often the restaurant servers were overwhelmed or absent. Yet we had a great time overall. Excellent for families. Nice pools, and lounge areas. Clean hotel. Don’t believe the terrible reviews. It’s a very enjoyable experience if you’re not expecting perfection.

It’s been a few weeks that we have been home. I took time to calm down and truly think about our experiences. We booked a pick at the airport months in advance and even checked days before to make sure we had a ride. We were assured we were good to go. The pick up was an hour late. After they said they were 10 minutes away. The hotel said they do not provide that service. However the desk inside the hotel for the transfer service. We waited 3 hrs once we got to the hotel for a room. We eventually got a room. Walked in it had 2 queen beds. Not what we reserved. I wasn’t going to fight about. We unpacked. I got in the shower and the shower wouldn’t drain. Water was running out into the bathroom I was standing in ankle deep water. I went back to the front desk got a different room. Once that was all solved things just got worse. The food was not very good. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. There is a lot of walking to get to the restaurants and more waiting. While you’re walking around they hound you to buy into what I’m assuming is a time share deal. If we could have changed our flight we would have left the very next day. We will never go back
