Beautiful grounds right on the beach where they provide umbrella and loungers. All new clean and beautiful rooms (post Ian). Room is not huge but enough and nice, screened deck. Full fridge and micro but very small kitchen counter. Also small closet. Front lobby is 24 hours and has some supplies. Pool is nice and bar offered good service, lunch and drinks. Restaurant on property (separately owned) also offered good food, service and drinks.

We had a pleasant stay, and the room was nice. However I feel like some of the staff there are dresses too casually. One read haired woman from management was wearing a short skirt that you could see her her underwear through and white blouse that was see through also. Essentially just a short skirt and a bra, since the top was so transparent. I felt inappropriate and attention seeking. We're not paying these prices to be around that, it feels inappropriate. Maybe the owners will see this and consider a dress code. Beautiful place and great service otherwise. But we will look into a different hotel for our next stay, and ask the managers about appropriate staff attire.

Lovely stay at the Inns of Sanibel, we stayed in the Sand Dollar building (top floor) pool view with view beyond of the ocean. It seems most, if not all, buildings would have view of the pool. The grounds were beautiful, everything feeling new/refreshed. Incredibly clean and updated (from what I assume Hurricane Ian). No carpet, clean and comfortable bed and bath linens. Easy access to the pool and beach (and tiki bar). Stayed in February so crowds were low and didn’t seem unmanageable to get around. Pool was warm and clean, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Enjoyable stay close to “entrance” of the island. Would certainly return.

The renovation looks beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great sunrises from our balcony. Only suggestion would be to improve the linens on the bed (scratchy sheets, hard pillows). We had a very comfortable three night stay at the property. The staff sets up beach chairs every morning, and you can ask for them to put out umbrellas for you as well. The pool bar/grill was good. Fresh chicken tenders. We picked up pizza from Dante’s one night, and that was good too. We’d definitely come back!

We had a such a nice time - too short though. Next time at least a week! The room, the view, the food, the staff, all first rate. The highlight was spotting a school of 4 or 5 dolphins just off the beach - such a great memory we'll charish forever. We will be back as soon as we can!
