I had an amazing stay at the hotel! The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable the entire time. I especially want to recognize Sebastian G. and Hassan E. for going above and beyond with their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. They truly made the experience memorable and made sure everything was taken care of. The hotel was clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience!

Just spent ten days at Calypso Cay with our three kids and there are pros but definitely cons. PROS: Price. This resort is affordable making longer stays doable for the average family. Location. It was an easy drive to both Disney and Universal parks. Pools. The pools themselves are nice with a couple water slides and a splash area for the kids. Rooms. The rooms are big, with a full kitchen and laundry included. CONS: Location. The resort itself isn’t in the best location safety wise and it is not gated. Noise. Quiet hours? Never heard of her. People are running and yelling through the hallways until 2am. You can call the front desk to send security, but they won’t answer the phone so you’re on your own. The walls are paper thin so you hear every footstep and toilet flush. If you value sleep this is not the spot for you. Cleanliness. The patio areas for grilling were constantly covered in old beer bottles and trash. Bins for trash over flowing. The tubs in the room had mold in the jets. Pools. You “need wrist bands” to use the pools that are across the street but no one’s checking. So the pool is swamped with non hotel guests on the weekends. Honesty. When we booked our stay there was a disclaimer that there would be construction at the resort until a certain date. No problem, we don’t mind a little noise while we sip our drinks and float in the pool. What they didn’t mention until check in was that it was in fact the pool that was drained and being worked on. Then the reopening date of the pool got pushed back. There are other pools to use but it would have been nice to know that the main pool wouldn’t be available. Zipline. They advertise a zipline adventure park but it was closed for no apparent reason while we were there, so if that is something you’re hoping for I would call beforehand to make sure it will be open during your stay.

Went for a quick getaway for some mental peace from home. Never had stayed at this property but recently stayed at another brand under the capital vacations group and since i enjoyed that one i figured this one will be just as wonderful. I appreciate that even though its a timeahare they dont badger you to take the tours. The unit was nice and the property offered a lot of great amenities and food options.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. Every team member showed a helpful attitude, always willing to assist with a smile and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The attention to detail was impressive; they responded quickly to any request and ensured everything was in perfect condition. It’s clear there is a real commitment to excellence in customer service. Without a doubt, the staff is one of the resort’s greatest assets. Thanks to them, our experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend this place not only for its facilities, but for the quality and kindness of its team.

I had a horrible experience really. Upon arrival after we checked in we were directed to a different little side room to get our parking pass. Of course before they give it to us they start asking if we have a debit or credit card, trying to pressure us into a timeshare presentation. After saying no MULTIPLE times my husband finally snapped and asked for the parking pass. We get to the room and it’s not very clean. Tub was dirty and there were dishes still dirty in the dishwasher. But okay whatever stuff happens maybe someone just forgot about it. But the real kicker was being woken up at 6:45 in the morning to the loudest leaf blower I’ve ever heard in my life. Thought it was super inconsiderate to the people on vacation that are trying to sleep in. Then later that night the room directly next to us started BLASTING music. I love having a good time more than the next person but me and my husband could not even sit inside and have a conversation without trying to yell over their music. When I called the front desk I was told quiet hours aren’t until 10pm but they would sent maintenance over to quit them down around that time. Which apparently never happened because they were blasting music until 2am and we couldn’t go to bed until then. the next day after not getting to bed until 2 am, the maintenance guy AGAIN is outside doing work before 7 am being so LOUD we literally couldn’t sleep. So if you value having a quiet, relaxing vacation, I advise looking for somewhere else. Which is sad because I really wanted to like this place, I’m somewhat local and love to just get away for the weekend very often but I can’t deal with all of that.
