What a gorgeous resort. I love my room, the beach, the sea, the food, breakfast & staff were really great. Special mention for Cathy of Reception - wonderful guest service. Also the staff in the restaurant at breakfast - always so warm. No regrets picking this resort in Choengmon albeit being on the pricier side. Many restaurants nearby, just outside the hotel. There's a 7-11 & a pharmacy right infront. I love everything about this resort. I had the best stay ! Made my first solo trip overseas such a memorable one !

Exceptional service in a beautiful setting We stayed here in July and August 2025 and had a very pleasant experience. • The Resort: The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, creating a great tropical atmosphere. • The Rooms: The rooms are nice and spacious, though they are starting to show their age a bit and could benefit from some modernization. • Pool & Beach: We loved the cozy pool area and the beach is simply stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway. • Dining: The breakfast buffet is standard for this category; nothing extraordinary, but perfectly fine and okay for a good start to the day. The Highlight: The absolute standout feature of this hotel is the amazing staff. Their friendliness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. Service like this is hard to find! Overall, a great place to stay if you value wonderful service and a beautiful location.

This resort is a true gem. From the very first welcome, you feel the special atmosphere created by the entire staff. Everyone works with great dedication, kindness, and attention to detail. The beach is beautiful and lovingly cared for every morning. Particularly touching is the staff member who quietly sweeps the walkways of leaves each day. We stayed in room 228, which was always spotlessly clean thanks to an exceptionally friendly and thorough housekeeper. Excellent breakfast, perfect service, and an atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. A place you don’t just visit – but one you truly want to recommend.

I had an excellent stay experience. The hotel facilities are well worth the price, the hygiene conditions are excellent, and the staff proactively assisted with luggage handling. Upon check-in, they offered a delicious ginger tea beverage. All staff members were exceptionally polite, and they helped me organize a highly successful proposal event for my friend. I would especially like to thank Mr. Sai Thein Tun for his outstanding Chinese language assistance, which resolved our biggest challenge. Additionally, I'm deeply grateful to the restaurant manager and every staff member who responded to our requests through emails and WhatsApp messages. Your professionalism and support were critical to making this event truly unforgettable.

After 17 wonderful nights at the Royal Muang Samui Villas, we can say without hesitation: this place is absolutely worth every penny. **The Grounds** The resort is always immaculately clean and impressively spacious. The pool facilities are stunning, and the direct beachfront location with its beautiful sandy beach and plenty of sun loungers is simply hard to beat. One small note: like at many resorts, some guests reserve loungers early in the morning – something we feel the hotel should address more actively. **The Villa** Each building spans three floors, offering a great variety of accommodation options. The lower floors feature family villas with private pools, and it appears the top floor also has pool rooms available. We stayed in a ground-floor villa with our own pool – perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The furnishings are showing their age, which also comes through in the natural scent of the solid hardwood used throughout – but honestly, this only added to the charm. It didn't bother us at all. Rooms were serviced daily upon request, with fresh towels provided and any missing amenities promptly restocked. The housekeeping service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. **The Staff** Truly outstanding. Every single member of staff greeted us with a warm smile and went out of their way to be helpful and attentive. It made such a difference. **Breakfast** Fantastic spread. A large buffet room offers an impressive selection, including fresh juices, a wide variety of freshly prepared egg dishes (scrambled, poached, and more made to order), fresh fruit, and an extensive range of both Asian and international dishes. We were completely satisfied with both the variety and the quality. **A Nice Touch** At check-in, staff walk you through the hotel's app, which lets you access resort information, browse the daily program, and even order in-room dining or request extras like towels, razors, or toothbrushes directly to your villa. Genuinely brilliant and very convenient. **The Spa** We visited the spa several times and were blown away every single time. It is phenomenal – we cannot recommend it highly enough. We even received a voucher at check-in for a complimentary 60-minute oil massage. An exceptional bonus! **Value for Money** As with any hotel, prices on-site are naturally higher than outside. That said, they remain far more reasonable than you'd expect at a comparable property in, say, Germany. Given the quality, we have absolutely no complaints – just enjoy it. **Beyond the Resort** The surrounding area has plenty to offer as well: numerous affordable restaurants, many massage salons, and we rented a scooter to explore the island – highly recommended. **Overall** This was a truly wonderful stay and we'd return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, high-quality beach resort experience on Koh Samui.
