La cala italian restaurant- We stayed at the Marriott Merlin for the second year in a row, and once again, we had an amazing experience! We also visited the hotel’s restaurant several evenings, and the food was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was incredibly enjoyable and indulgent, but what truly stood out was the service — honestly, it was on a level we have rarely experienced. A huge thank you to Golf, Tanny, Kate, and Tee. The restaurant team is simply WOW! So professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back again. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Merlin Phuket, and it was made even more special as we were celebrating our son’s 3rd birthday. We booked La Cala Italian Restaurant for his birthday dinner, and the hotel kindly offered to prepare a birthday cake for him. The service from Golf, Tanny, Tee and Kate was absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly attentive, warm and thoughtful throughout the evening, and went above and beyond to make the celebration special for our family. Both our son and daughter had such a lovely time, and we all enjoyed a truly wonderful and relaxing evening together. The food and drinks were also excellent, and everything was beautifully presented. Thank you so much to the whole team at La Cala for making our son’s 3rd birthday so memorable. We will definitely come back again, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone staying at Marriott Merlin Phuket! ❤️

Thankyou to Beer, Talay, Patty and Filmmy were so kind and attentive with service. All the 5 restaurants provide a variety of cuisine (thai, italian, japanese and others) with good quality ingredients and a pleasant serving size. The pool bar and rum shack Would definitely highly recommend ! Beer is absolutely lovely and often made me cocktails according to what i like , all the servers at the beach grill and pool bar are amazing and friendly - could not recommend this hotel enough

The hotel was really awesome. Rooms were clean and in generell the property was very pleasant. The staff is incredible! Especially at the Merchant Kitchen, huge thanks to Pear (thanks for the present), Ammy and another crew member which I unfortunately do not remember her name anymore but she was amazing as well! Always smiling and active working! We’ve chosen the all inclusive package and it was worth it. The food is generell is good unless you want Indian food. The hotel, (message goes to you dear Chef Anil Rawat ) needs to improve at Indian food a lot. I’ve been to Bali and had better Indian food in their resorts than here. It’s below average for sure! That’s why I need to take away the 1 star. The food did not taste like it came from a 5 star resort, instead it tasted like it came from a Imbiss . Otherwise the western, Japanese and Thai cuisines were really great, nothing to say about it.

Such a peaceful and comfortable resort, especially for a family with kids aged 4 and 7! We were very happy with the food and drinks overall, the pool was fantastic, and there were plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming — a special thanks to Patty, who was so sweet with our little one. ❤️ We also really enjoyed the swimming lessons. Overall, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay for the whole family. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!
