We stayed here as a family for a couple of days. The bottom line: We have had much better hotel experiences in Thailand at lower prices. The high Google rating does not seem reasonable to me. The Pros: + Directly located at the Karon beach. + Kids club with friendly staff trying to engage with the kids and giving them a good time. + Staff reasonably friendly. + Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. The Cons: - The first room was damp. Wie could immediately change with no hassle, but other reviews adressing this issue definitively have a point. - Rooms are situated around a narrow courtyard. A higher floor is definitely preferable. - The pools are within this courtyard. Felt a bit like being at the bottom of a canyon down there. - The rooms could be better maintained. The laminate floor had water damage. The entry door was warped and there were significant gaps you could see the outside light through. - Air conditioning was pretty loud. - Breakfast was only okay, rather than good. - Bit strange to me was the long list of fines listed for breaking stuff etc. Apparently they are used to rough customers. - Rather stiff prices.

I chose this hotel for my first holidays in Thailand and I'm glad that I did. It was absolutely brilliant stay, the room was spacious, bright with both bathtub and shower in a big bathroom, tastefully and modern decorated, cleaned daily to high standards. If you take the breakfast option, you won't be disappointed, everything was delicious and really big choice of everything, hot or cold. The staff are professional, welcoming and very helpful, 1st class service. The location is perfect, super close to the beach, just cross the road and that's it. This hotel and staff and food made my holidays perfect, despite the weather being kind of gray and rainy for the most part of stay. I will definitely come back in some time.

The Thai people are the loveliest and kindest, most hospitable people. I am so grateful to meet the staff here at this hotel. 5/5 stars. The rooms unfortunately smelled like mould but the staff did everything they could to help. This is a kid's hotel so expect some noise, kids screaming at times, people up at all hours, people playing YouTube in common areas and a range of different nationalities all with their own interpretation of what is socially acceptable behaviour in public spaces. Some guests clearly are unaware of shared facilities rules. I observed 1 lady and her young children using a sun bed (only 3 of the sunbeds seem to get actual sun) and after about 30-40 mins another lady came over yelling demanding that she had reserved all 3 chairs because she put a towel there 40 mins ago before she had breakfast. She demanded to speak to management and a small group of us watched as she yelled at 2 managers who were likely trying to explain the rules to her. Wisdom was chasing her, but she was faster. In the end the managers asked if the lady on the deck chair could kindly move to resolve the situation. In my opinion yielding to aggressive guests only makes things worse and teaches people to become more entitled. The staff did their best but this hotel seems to attract some people who dont understand shared spaces and facilities. Very odd behaviour you would not expect from a 5 star hotel. Location is great. Breakfast is somewhat average but not too bad. The pools are great. I did see a small boy get injured on his foot but the staff were very helpful with a bandage. There are pros and cons to this hotel. I will not return. However I will forever remember how kind and lovely the Thai people are and how blessed I am to share their beautiful country. Thank you

We had interconnected pool view rooms. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms were spacious, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was very good. Restaurant also offers dine in menu for linch and dinner with some nice options like pizza, burgers, quality Australian steak cuts and more. Resort has two pools with slides. One specifically for kids. Bigger pool with great slides is manned all day with attendants. Only thing I could say is if the seating area around the pool was bigger would have been perfect but to be honest we never once came to the pool and didn’t find a seat even though the resort was booked out so I’m just being fussy. Location is across the road from a huge beautiful beach. Street moderately busy and a five minute walk from a bustling main strip so you get the best of both worlds. Good restaurants, laundromat, convenience stores, ice cream, pharmacy, tuktuk all within a 2-5 minute walk. Overall, excellent resort for families. Wouldn’t suggest for honeymoon or couples wanting luxurious quiet stay however it would still work. If you have a young family then definitely a perfect option.

Chalim Chumsing

We stayed on January 2nd and this hotel is perfect for kids and families. Just across the road is the beautiful Karon Beach. The sky bar during sunset is amazing with a great atmosphere. We booked a Family Pool Access room and stepping out of the room gives direct access to the water park. Our child loved it the most and had a great time.
