We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach, and it’s the people here who truly make this place special. A huge thank you to Khun Top the F&B Manager for his warm hospitality and attention to detail — the food, service, and overall dining experience were consistently excellent. Every meal felt relaxed yet professional, which is not easy to achieve. Special mention must go to Khun Sat, who runs the kids club — he was incredible with our children. He even took the kids for Muay Thai classes, which they absolutely loved and are still talking about. It’s rare to find a kids program that’s this engaging, active, and genuinely memorable. We also want to sincerely thank Khun Yu, the General Manager, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the happy staff and smooth operation of the hotel. You can feel the positive culture throughout the property. Khun Chula, the Executive Assistant Manager, was equally impressive — professional, attentive, and always present to ensure guests are well looked after. This hotel strikes the perfect balance between a relaxing beachfront escape and a truly family-friendly resort. The service, the team, and the atmosphere exceeded our expectations in every way. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach to families and anyone looking for genuine Thai hospitality at its best. 🙏🌴

The hotel has excellent location, the beach though public but since the hotel is at the last part of the beach, it kind of feels private. The private villas are excellent with private pools/jacuzzi. Some villas might be old and some are already renovated. But the old ones will soon be renovated as well. The staff from check in by Jane was really smooth and she really took care of all our needs. Mr Nice was actually as per his name very nice to accommodate us in a renovated room for my additional booking. We left the luggage at the reception and left to wander phuket only to come back and realise we’d forgotten a couple of clothes and the staff neatly kept them on our luggage. Special thanks to Jane, Mr Nice and Ms Much!!! Will always come back to this place.

As a solo traveler, I visited Phuket Island for a night and stayed at Novotel Kamala beach. Pros: the hotel is right on the beach and I felt that it was on the best part of the Kamala beach where it feels a bit more private, although the beach is open to all. The room was spacious (I stayed at villa 602, with a sea view), nice amenities and possible to reach the beach, the pool and restaurants very easily. I messed up the days for my reservation but luckily the receptionists were able to find a room for me and I had to cancel the other reservation (still not sure if i was charged). I loved the windows both in the room and the bathroom, though most people might have the blinds down for privacy (mine were almost always open, with the sea view and sun pouring in). Also, the room has a nice balcony with two chairs and it is really pleasant to seat out and people watch in the beach. Cons: I guess some of the rooms are accessible but mine was not (luckily I can still climb stairs, but was thinking of older people options). The room had a jacuzzi but a bit rusty on the outside, which just looks unpleasant but didnt use it. I had one meal at the hotel and must say it was not that good. On that Friday there was a buffet being served by I prefer a la carte and went with that. Asked for papaya salad and pad Thai, and there just ok. For desert I asked for lemongrass panacotta and it was really hard and unpleasant (I guess too much gelatin) and didn't really taste the lemon grass (the restaurant made it right and didn't charge me for that). The restaurant was not busy but I had to track down the waiter to get another drink, the bill, etc. All in all, I would stay again at the hotel, although I also say that I would try to find better options. For the price and in Thailand, I think I could get a better room and better services.

t’s about a 45-minute drive from the airport, so if you’re arriving around noon, wear your swimsuit under your clothes—you’ll want to jump right in. The location is spot on, and booking a beachfront, western-facing room is worth it. The sunset views are absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well laid out, offering the best of both worlds: pool or beach swimming, plus a fun swim-up bar and a relaxed happy hour with great drinks. It’s very family-friendly, with kids’ areas and spacious family rooms, while still feeling polished and calm. The staff truly elevate the experience. Mr. Too, the restaurant manager, is an outstanding host. Big shout-out as well to Sulma in the dining room and Rio at the front desk—professional, warm, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the team was excellent as well. Relaxed, scenic, and well run—this is a place you’ll be happy to come back to.

We came here for the romantic dinner on the beach to celebrate our honeymoon and it was honestly such a highlight of our trip! Top and all of his team were beyond lovely and accommodating. The food, view, and table decor were all top class. Really recommend! Actually wish we'd stayed here too - next time! 😉 Thank you to all the staff who made for such a memorable experience for us 🥰
