We had a wonderful stay here! The service was excellent, specifically the Restaurant Manager Kier who was so engaging and attentive that we decided to book the Christmas evening dinner buffet just because of him. The lady at reception Bow was also lovely and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Great setup for families-there are two kids' clubs (one offers 1 hour complimentary per day) and our kids were very happy there. The hotel is very clean and room service was impressively fast. Highly recommended! Aey was very helpful - thanks a lot!

We spent 4 nights at Novotel Phuket Kata and had a great family experience. The resort offers plenty of activities and facilities for kids, and the beach is just a short walk away with shuttle service available. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating with all our requests. The real star, however, was the restaurant. The chef and team prepared outstanding customized vegetarian meals, and their Indian food was exceptional - some of the best we've had outside India. Some rooms are outdated, though we learned renovations are planned soon. Despite this, the combination of family-friendly amenities, beautiful beach location, and incredible food made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for families. The kid friendly amenities, exceptional service and culinary experience more than compensate for the aging rooms.

We stayed here for six nights in November 2025. We had a pool view room with balcony, It was beautiful. The breakfast was an amazing Buffet with eggs made to order and a crêpe station. Our breakfast wasn’t included, which meant our overall cost was less expensive. This was good because some days we just didn’t feel like an entire buffet for breakfast or maybe we felt like a sleep in. Breakfast worked out to be about $12AUD per adult and kids were free. The staff were extremely helpful. We had two pools and a splash park to choose from on our chill days. The walk down to Kata Beach was very short but steep. Fortunately, the hotel provides a free shuttle up the hill every half hour. My only word of advice would be to ensure that all your doors and windows stay closed when the Aircon is on as the floor becomes very very wet and slippery otherwise.

Staff was very nice and attentive. Upon arrival (which we booked same day) they upgraded our rooms for free (have no idea why) but ended up on the 5th floor with a superb view of Kata Beach and the bay. The vouchers they give are nice too but location was great as it was a walking distance to the town. Just got to be ok battling the uphill going back haha

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 5-night family holiday at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. A friend from my school days, whom I hadn’t connected with in over 25 years, now owns the property and graciously helped us with the booking. We stayed in two rooms: a Family Room and a Deluxe Sea View Room. Both rooms were excellently positioned close to each other, which made a big difference for us as we were travelling with elderly parents as well as young children. The thoughtful room allocation added greatly to our comfort and peace of mind. The resort is extremely kid-friendly, and the hospitality of the staff deserves special mention. Not once did we hear a “no” to any of our requests. Every interaction was warm, courteous, and genuinely helpful. A very special and touching gesture was the complimentary bottles of champagne sent to both our rooms by Narin. This was deeply appreciated, especially since this holiday coincided with the celebration of my father’s 70th birthday, making it even more meaningful for our family. Another lovely touch was the desserts sent to our room every day. They were delicious and made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. A special mention is absolutely deserved for Chef Reez, who went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and took great care of our preferences, making every meal experience feel personal and thoughtful. At the restaurant, Apple, with her ever-smiling face and pleasant service, made dining a joy each time we visited. We were also very impressed by the General Manager, Mr. Massimo Bernardi, who was extremely hands-on with the functioning of the hotel and warmly interacted with us during our stay. His presence and approachability truly reflect the excellent culture of hospitality at the resort. The spa experience was outstanding. My parents, my wife, and I all indulged in treatments and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing and professional service. The family package was excellent for the kids, offering activities like a VR experience and a water scooter in the pool, both of which were a big hit and kept them happily engaged. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated, with easy walking access to both Kata and Karon beaches, making it ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable family holiday. Overall, Novotel Kata Avista exceeded our expectations in every way. From thoughtful gestures and excellent service to a fantastic location and family-friendly atmosphere, this is a resort we would highly recommend and would happily return to.
