Awesome property. Rooms were nice and very well done. We were in sea facing room which was large and good. Hotel does not have its own beach as the sea has recouped it! But one can sit in front of the sea and enjoy the views however, you can not go in the sea which was a bit of a downer. But it still is a five star property except that in couple of occasions we felt not trusted well. There was a minor confusion on the minibar and it would have been so kind if they would have trusted us. We did not mind paying but felt really bad that they did not trust us. There was a something similar night before which is inconsequential.

An amazing hotel. Our best experience overall in a hotel in Thailand. We were 4 and had 2 deluxe sea view bungalows with an amazing view. Each bungalow has a very nice private pool. The rooms are vey spacious, very nicely decorated, super clean with in house and outside showers and a bath room. Wonderful staff very helpful. I will have rated 6 stars if I could.

We had a wonderful stay at Nora Buri. The rooms were generally clean and well maintained. We loved the sea facing pool, it was very therapeutic and calming to watch the waves. The buggy service is readily available upon request. The resort is less than 10 minutes away from the airport. They have a van service available available to the Central Samui at 4pm which was quite convenient as we were not aware of the mall. Overall, we would recommend the resort.

I had a delightful stay at Nora Buri and I would rate my overall stay as 4/5. Breaking this review in 3 parts: good bits, needs improvement and a warning. Good bits: 1. Resort is a little bit old but very beautifully built and they have many types of rooms. I with my husband stayed at the sea view room and the view was amazing. 2. Their pools are one of the best I've seen so far. They have 2 huge pools, each pool being infinity pool with a great view. 3. The rooms are located on the hillside and there's a very active cart / buggy service. It is exceptional. Would rate it 10/10. We could always get a cart almost instantly and didn't have to walk even a bit to get to our room. Buggy drivers are also super friendly and courteous. 4. Breakfast spread is really amazing and elaborate. 5. Rooms are super spacious with all amenities. Probably the biggest in Samui at the price point. Didn't feel like anything was missing. Needs improvement: 1. The resort could do with a little bit of renovation. Saw cracks in some villas. Tried opening the curtains and the rod broke. Roof lights were constantly flickering. 2. There are no charging points on the sides of the bed so you have to charge your phone on the study table. 3. For making up your room, you have to call the reception and let them know. Sometimes they'll do your room without asking and when you need them to actually do it, they'll say they've already done it. As someone who is a cleanliness freak, I sometimes get my room cleaned twice in a day and I wouldn't want grief over it. 4. They can't do anything about this but FYI the beach is not accessible. So if you're planning to swim in the beach, you can't. WARNING The only reason I've given this a 4 rating and not 5 is particularly because of their travel and tours booking personnel - Sara. We booked our full moon party ferry + pickup / drop package from Sara for 1200 baht per person. She booked us with the worst operator and we ended up spending the night stuck and stranded in ferry queues. We spent 4 hours just waiting and being pushed around in a stampede like situation. The problematic part: The package costs 800 baht per person otherwise. So not only did Sara give us a highly inflated package and made huge commissions on it, she refused to take any responsibility for our terrible experience and just simply said she can't do anything. The resort also refused to take responsibility for the same. So please exercise caution in booking any of your tours via Sara (sits at the resort reception) and book elsewhere instead.
