We've stayed here twice (both times for 2 weeks) and absolutely loved it. It's got a lovely Caribbean theme, nice decor in the rooms and a stunning pool area. The hotel is very bright and the lobby smells amazing. There is easy access to the water taxis, bus (Volcano Bay) and the walkway to Citywalk. The bars/ restaurants feel somewhat limited and pricey, but definitely go to Strongwater Tavern for a cocktail and rum tasting. The staff are helpful for the most part, but if you're not used to American restaurants hospitality be prepared for bar/ wait staff to be overly friendly and attentive.

We stayed at this resort over the weekend and honestly had such a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. One of my favorite little touches was that someone at the front entrance greets guests and gives out leis during check-in—it immediately sets a warm, vacation vibe. The lobby itself smells absolutely amazing, which might sound small, but it really adds to the overall experience and makes a great first impression every time you walk in. The location is also a huge plus—it’s very close to Volcano Bay theme park. Although we didn’t get a chance to visit since we arrived late and were only there for one night, it’s definitely convenient if you’re planning to go. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean, which is always a big deal for me. The overall property was stunning and relaxing—perfect for a quick weekend getaway. We really felt like we could unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. Service throughout our stay was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the guest experience. They even accommodated us with a late checkout with no issues, which we really appreciated given our late arrival. Overall, it was exactly what we needed—a relaxing and enjoyable escape. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice weekend stay.

Every time that we visit the hotel we are blown away by every single detail. The cleanliness of our room, the cleanliness of the hotel and all facilities. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. We would especially love to thank Nico at the poolside for his incredible hospitality, his friendliness, knowledge and attention to detail is superb. Nothing is too much for Nico - he goes above and beyond to accommodate and look after us on every single visit. It was especially nice when he greeted my husband as “my regular, Mr Palmer”. Considering that we are from England and therefore, visit much less frequently than perhaps a Floridian local; proves that Nico is outstanding at what he does. In addition, we would love to recognise Jacob from the strong water tavern. We visited for dinner and nothing was too much for Jacob, his knowledge was incredible and he took the time to explain meals to us, he was incredibly attentive and delivered exceptional customer service. He is a real credit to your hotel and we look forward to being served by him again when we return. Its staff members like Nico and Jacob that absolutely make us want to return.

The benefit of the boat taxi is enough to make the price difference between here and Cabana Bay worth it. I originally had a reservation at Cabana and was down for work, so walked thru each location. Sapphire Falls just felt nicer, cleaner, happier. The water taxi is relaxing and let's you bypass the main security lines at Citywalk and just walk into Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. We've had zero complaints here. The water pressure is good, room clean and quiet, property nice and clean.

Amazing stay. Starts off strong with the wonderful hotel smell and leis as you walk in. Overall cleanliness from lobby to pools to rooms. Proximity to the two original parks and the parking garage is nice as well. This is a great place for those to stay who want the water taxi feature with a more affordable price point. Shower had lots of pressure. TV was huge. Pool has large hot tub and fire pit. We have stayed at hard Rock and Royal Pacific in previous trips but think we enjoyed ourselves the most at Sapphire Falls. The Amatista Cookhouse is an excellent choice for out of park dining. And the Drhum Kantine at the Pool has some great food options as well. Our family of five adults was able to get adjoining rooms. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
