We stayed at this resort twice, and enjoyed our stay both times! The resort and the amenities are beautiful; very clean and well kept. The room needs improvement and remodeling, but it was clean and comfortable. Many different restaurants to choose from, serving variety of food - most were fantastic with friendly staff. Sushi restaurant by the pool was amazing; it gets overcrowded for lunch but the wait was well worth it!! The highlight was supervised kids area with friendly, english speaking staff, so that we could take s few moments for ourselves and enjoy the adults only amenities. Our kids enjoyed the entertainment and activities at the kids club and the resort! The hotel is in a great location too, we ordered uber and explored the city, which was short drive from the hotel.

I am writing this review on my last day on this resort. I was really hoping my trip would turn around for the better but the overall attitude from the customer service team has actually somehow made the trip worse. We found out after we arrived that 6 of the resuraunts on the resort are not included for all inclusive unless you have the "sens" package. So we only had access to 3 of the 9 resuraunts. When we recieved our first room. It was not what we had requested online as it did not have the correct bed. When we asked about this and we were told that they can choose what kind of bed we recieve based on their availability. Luckily they did change our room for us however we had to check out of the room by 11am for the change with the other room not being ready until after 3pm. Mind you for both the check out and check in we had to wait in line for reception and that was a very slow process by the time we got into our new room it was close to 430 5pm so a good majority of the day was wasted here. When we got into the new room the AC was not working at all and the room was directly beside the port where they park the party boats. Up until 1am they were blairing music so loud the windows were shaking preventing us from getting any sleep. So I once again requested a new room. They did not have any king beds available so we are once again on 2 twin beds. But at least the room is quiter and the AC is actually working. However the light to the bathroom only works about 40% of the time and the safe died on us after the first night. This lead me to once again go down to the customer service and they directed us to the reception lobby to wait another hour to get served only for the receptionist to call maintenence to meet us at our room to fix the safe. Once again wasting more of my time on vacation. In total I probably spent almost a day and a half of my vacation talking to staff trying to get issues resolved. I honestly feel like I am going insane here as the customer service has been insanely rude and dismissive of our concerns and i truely feel that the bare minimum of a resorts duty is to make sure the facilities are operating correctly and if they arent to adjust accordingly. There are very few workers who are genuinely willing to help you and its sad because the bad ones far out weigh the good ones. Overall this has not met any of my expectations. I also want to take the time to mention that this resort is primarly locals with upwards of 90% of the resort being Mexican. This wouldn't be an issue if the locals wern't so hostile towards tourists. I can't even being to count the amount of times I was waiting in a line for something only to have a local step i front of me and get served before me. If this was a once off issue i wouldn't bring it up but at all but it was a common occurance at bars and resuraunts. This was by far the worst vacation I have taken in years. I would not recomend this to anyone outside of Mexico due to the attitude towards customers.

Our family’s first stay at Grand Oasis Palm in Cancún was outstanding and easily the best all‑inclusive experience we have had so far. Exceptional Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff were extraordinarily kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. We traveled with a 1‑year‑old and often asked the café for warm milk several times a day; even though warm milk was not on the menu, they always prepared it with a smile and never made us feel like it was a burden. The housekeeping team worked incredibly hard, cleaning our room thoroughly every day and keeping all the shared facilities spotless, at a level of service we have never experienced in the United States. Facilities and Activities: The resort offers a beautiful beach with calm water that is perfect for small children, along with multiple pools and a fun kids’ area. There are many indoor and outdoor activities, nightly shows, and special events, so there is always something to do for every age. We especially appreciated having so many different restaurants and a café included in the all‑inclusive package, which made meals easy and enjoyable throughout the day. Not perfect, but still amazing! Coming from the US, some travelers might expect conveniences like a washer and dryer, and the property itself is not ultra‑luxury or brand‑new. However, the warmth, effort, and work ethic of the staff more than make up for these details, and overall the value and experience were far better than anything similar we have used in the US. First impression of Mexico! This was our first visit to Mexico, and it completely changed our impression of the country and its people. In general, everyone we met was polite, kind, and warm, with a clear love for music, dancing, and making sure visitors are having a good time. It is unfortunate that traditional media often focuses on negative stories, because the everyday hospitality and humanity we experienced in Cancún truly deserve much more recognition. Overall experience: For families looking for an all‑inclusive vacation with great service, a safe, swimmable beach, lots of food options, and constant entertainment, Grand Oasis Palm is an excellent choice. We left with wonderful memories and a new appreciation for Mexican hospitality, and we would happily return and recommend this resort to other families.

The room was not like pictures, our toilet did not flush for the first day of our stay, no hot water in our room for the first day, floors in our room were dirty, we had to call and ask for housekeeping to come multiple times. When we asked the staff where the on-site restaurants were located at, they seemed bothered that we would even ask. Half of the lights and plug ins in our room didnt work. It was basically 4 walls and a bed. We asked for a different room and was denied. Only positive side to this place is the beach. I strongly DO NOT recommend and I will NOT be back.

Horrible experience!!! To start, I'm not coming here expecting luxury! I'm just expecting the minimum to have fun and feel you are on vacation! Some previous reviews mentioned the hotel is outdated, and needs renovations... That didn't bother me at all. Negatives that bothered me: 1. There are very very few water beds around the swimming pool area, and all the guests know that! So everyone at 8, am comes down from their rooms to put towels or personal items on some beds to reserve them!! If you come after 9 am, they are all gone!!! And btw...water beds are racked overnight without being cleaned! So on the morning, they are still dirty if you are lucky to reserve one or two!!! 2. The food is absolutely the same every single day... Nothing changes, like ever!!! Only food I enjoyed was the fruits!!! 3. No proper hygiene!! I don't know what I ate, but on my second day I woke up with severe Food Poisoning, possibly salmonella or Norovirus .... And it lasted for 5 days... I don't get food poisoning ever!!! And I usually eat street food from everywhere including Cancun DT and Mexico City, etc... And I told Customer Service, instead of apologizing, they said you can see the resort doctor, but you have to pay for it!!! What an attitude!!!!! 4. Cups are washed with some questionable water with sanitizer before they pour ur drinks, and not dried properly..so ur drinking tequilla with some sanitizer... 5. They have icecream in the a la carte restaurants for dinner, but not in the buffets!!!! 6. Pool Is always dirty, soon much garbage in there and I don't think water is ever cleaned or treated!!! Maybe once a month or so!!!! 7. Washrooms are not everywhere..you have to go inside the hotel to find one... 8. Hotel advertise many a la carte restaurants, but most of them are access only to the neighboring resort... Not to this one... This one has 3 a la carte, only Maki Taco is worth a try...rest are less than mediocre...
