We have had an incredible few days at the Fairmont Mayakoba with our family. It has been the perfect way to end the summer with our four boys, ages 8 to 17. One of the highlights has been the beautiful beach. The barriers that help keep the seaweed away make such a difference, allowing us to really enjoy the ocean. There are so many activities included, from paddleboarding and kayaking to beach sports, catamaran rides, and snorkeling trips. A special thank you to Jezer, who took our family on a fantastic snorkeling excursion and a bike tour to see the cenote and other beautiful areas of the resort. He was wonderful with our boys, encouraging them to join in volleyball and football and making sure everyone had a great time. He brought so much energy and enthusiasm to every activity. The resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We've enjoyed biking throughout the property, taking a peaceful and informative boat tour, and even playing pickleball. Every member of the staff has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. A huge thank you also to our butler, Daniel, who has been exceptional. He arranged activities, made restaurant reservations, and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. His attention to detail and outstanding service made our vacation even more special. We leave with wonderful family memories and would highly recommend the Fairmont Mayakoba to families looking for a vacation that combines relaxation, adventure, and outstanding hospitality.

Fantastic fortnight at Mayakoba! Erica and Hugo and the rest of the staff down at La Playa were fantastic. Food and drink exceeded expectations. Accommodation was super clean, spacious and luxury. Swimming pools outstanding especially the one by La Playa. The buggies to / from the beach were brilliant. Shout out to Jesus, the best driver at the hotel! Copy copy! We really enjoyed spotting wildlife in and around the mangroves. The property is set within beautiful lagoon style vegetation with great taste. My thanks to Hugo for looking after us by the pool so attentively. Everything from drinks to information. A true asset to Fairmont Mayakoba.

Our stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was exceptional from check-in to check-out. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making our vacation truly memorable. We traveled with our small Pomeranian puppy and couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and pet-friendly experience. The room was spotless, with housekeeping service twice a day, which added to the luxurious feel of our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the room a refreshing retreat after spending time in the beautiful Mexican weather. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are huge, impeccably maintained, and every detail is thoughtfully cared for. The staff is exceptionally polite—whether walking or riding around the property, they would always stop to let us pass and greet us with a smile. Throughout our stay, we did not experience a single negative moment. A special thank you to Tania at Reception and Ana from Housekeeping. Thanks to them, we felt welcome from the very beginning and truly taken care of throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more special. This was an exceptional five-star resort experience, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

An absolute wonderful experience from pre-arrival to departure. Before we arrived, we worked with the excellent team to coordinate our transportation, reservations, and excursions. Special thanks to Sheila, Gabriela, and Edgar in helping to get us all set for arrival. We booked a signature casita which includes Balam Butler services. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Edgar and Marlon. They were exceptional, thinking of every small detail and ensuring we felt settled and at home. Their dinner recommendations were great and made sure we got everywhere on time, always smiling. As the person who is always planning for everyone, it was so nice to not have to worry about details for a few days. One more thanks to Daniel at Las Olas pool bar, not only does he make the most delicious cocktails, but he creates such a fun atmosphere. We had a blast hanging out there in the afternoon. We loved our experience and really appreciate the excellent team at Fairmont Mayakoba. Can’t wait to return.

We spent five nights in a casita near the beach with our own living room, two bathrooms, and rooftop infinity pool. Rodrigo and Daniel were our butlers, and they were top notch. We were impressed with the butler service. Communication was quick and seamless as was getting around the massive property by golf cart. We loved the boat rides around Mayakoba’s mangroves, the lush landscaping, and seeing all the wildlife, especially the crocodiles, iguanas, and monkeys. The variety of pools were fantastic for our little family. The food honestly was just ok, but we liked everything else.
