My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort. The resort is in a fantastic location with beautiful grounds, an excellent breakfast, and truly wonderful, attentive staff. We were upgraded to a room facing the pool, which we really appreciated. While our room had not yet undergone renovation, we were informed that renovations are planned within the next six months. Despite that, the room was comfortable, and the beautiful flooring added a nice touch. One of the biggest highlights is the location. The resort is directly across from Patong Beach, set slightly inward, so we enjoyed the convenience without the overwhelming noise of the crowds. Food, shopping, and everything you need are right outside, and the lively Bangla Road is within walking distance when you want to experience the nightlife. We only wish we could have stayed longer — we had an amazing time. Location truly is key, and this resort delivers.

I have always believed that choosing a well-known hotel brand is the right decision because major brands tend to resolve problems when they arise. I booked this hotel from the first day of my trip. Unfortunately, there were renovation and maintenance works taking place, which caused noticeable noise. When I spoke to the reception team, I was informed that this had already been mentioned in advance. To be fair, I personally did not see or read that notice. What impressed me was what happened next. Without me filing a formal complaint or requesting any escalation, Baifern and Pim (the duty manager) proactively contacted me via WhatsApp to ensure my stay was going well. When I mentioned the noise issue, they immediately offered to move me to a quieter room away from the renovation area. Lissa then handled the room transfer smoothly and with a genuinely positive attitude. This is Hilton, ladies and gentlemen — exactly the level of service I expect from a global brand. Their response was the main reason I decided to extend my stay at the hotel. Overall, I am giving this hotel 5 stars. There are certainly areas for improvement: the hotel entrance is not air-conditioned, and some facilities could be upgraded. However, the location is exceptional — perhaps the quietest location within the busiest and most vibrant part of Patong. Thank you to Baifern, Pim, and Lissa for turning what could have been a negative experience into a positive one.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, the food was incredible, and the staff were beyond wonderful. They found out that I love peanut butter, so they brought me handmade peanut butter made by them — honestly one of the sweetest things ever. We spent 4 unforgettable days there, and the room service was exceptional. The food was truly delicious, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I’m completely in love with this place and the kindness of everyone there.

I had an absolutely positively incredible stay at the Doubletree just steps away from Patong Beach and all of the activities. They upgraded me to a room on the first floor pool view that I walked right into the pool and the swam to the pool bar being a diamond member. Nabee provided excellent service at the pool bar. She was very nice and friendly. All of their staff was very nice and did anything you needed to make your stay more enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree Patong Beach. It’s close to everything and the hotel rooms are very comfortable. Their breakfast is amazing and huge with so many selections to suit everyone. I will definitely return.

Dear Banthai Hilton Team, I want to express my deepest thank you for the incredible hospitality during my 4 days holiday last week. Even though it has been a couple of years since we last met, the moment I arrived, Khun Egg, Khun Phi (Nong Phi), and Khun Oop (Nong Oop) welcomed me with such warmth and that big warm smiles that it truly felt like coming home again, and it melts away all the tiredness of the day.
