This is one of the best loved family hotels in Phuket, filled with kid-friendly thrills and spills and fabulous facilities in the central part of Kata. Take your pick of 3 swimming pools, with a fun waterslide for little ones and a quieter pool with a swim-up bar for adults. This resort is centrally located, 5 minutes’ walk from a small supermarket, and approximately 10 minutes from Kata night market. There are also numerous bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes of leaving the resort.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. A special thank you to the manager, who was kind enough to arrange a more convenient room for us with small children, which made a huge difference. The food at the hotel restaurants was fantastic, and I can honestly say it was some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The quality and variety were exceptional, making every morning a real treat. The pools were great—well-maintained and perfect for relaxation or fun. Additionally, the rooms offered plenty of storage, which was very convenient for our family. Highly recommended!

We’re really enjoying here. The Excellent hotel to rest with a family. It’s located in the middle of Kata. Getting the beach takes a few minutes. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants, massage salons nearby. This hotel is not new, but as for in a peachy condition. It has great breakfasts, two swimming pools etc. Thanks to Wut, Aoy, Joy for the best service.

My husband and I had a great time at Centara Kata Resort. We were on our honeymoon and we're treated well by all the staff - everyone is super friendly and always smiling. The room was spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. We ate at the Seasons restaurant and the food was delicious - we loved the attention to detail with the plating of the dishes too. The poolside drinks were also super affordable and didn't skimp on the alcohol. This Hotel is also very close to the walking food market and beach so highly recommend staying here.

Not what we expected Room: Room itself was large with 1 separate bedroom. But it was worn out. It was clean but at the same time you could sense the scent of mold in the air. Bed was not comfortable, neither were the pillows. After a week of stay i had serious back pain because of the bed hardness. You get fridge and a little kitchenette in the room. Fridge has a minibar. What we did not like was the need of deposit at the check in - 200 usd. Food: Breakfasts were ok. Not good not bad, just ok. Coffee was terrible, not drinkable. Staff & amenities: Water in swimming pool was terribly cold. I have never noticed such cold water anywhere in thailand. The biggest advantage of the hotel is the staff - they were great! I organized bday surprise for my wife and staff helped a lot. Any other request - they were always helpful. Many swimming pools with plenty of sun-beds. Location: Close to kata beach. Approx 10 min walk. Hotel offers free shuttle to the beach. Many stores and restaurants nearby. At the same time, if you do not like crowds , location is not for you. People are everywhere. All in all. To us, great staff is not enough to rate the place high. Taking all disadvantages into consideration, we will not come back.

The location is convenient to the beach, if you don't mind how crowded the beach gets during the day. There are many walking markets and restaurants nearby with delicious food. The hotel has an app they want you to use and they send you endless notifications all day. I had my laundry done here, my fault for not looking at the prices but it ended up being roughly $60 (2200 baht) for a few shirts, a few pairs of pants, a bra and 5 pairs of underwear (there are hundreds of places a block away that charge a fraction of this!). The rooms are okay, not great not terrible, a little outdated and with poor lighting. Service is fine.
