Stayed at this hotel Nov 17-21, 2025. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Staff were seen constantly cleaning the facilities and tending to the gardens. Maid/room cleaning was available to keep your room fresh and stocked with amenities. The air conditioning worked well and was a nice break from the humid weather outside if you need that. The daily breakfast was one of many highlights of this hotel as they had a good amount of options, great views of the sea and welcoming staff to greet you with a smile. The location was another highlight- situated at the south of Karon beach (possibly the only hotel directly on the beach) and walking distance to Kata. Great overall experience. Would recommend to stay here. 5*

The most amazing resort I’ve been to in Phuket, and I come every year. The service is outstanding, all the staff greet you whenever they see you and they are always ready to help with a smile. Location is great too, right on the beach and the water is so clear and nice to swim in especially in the morning. Breakfast was good too, nice selection between continental and Asian. This is my new favourite resort in Phuket for this price it can’t be beaten. I’ll definitely be staying here again. Thank you!

Overall, we were quite disappointed with Beyond Karon Resort. The communal areas felt dated, tired, and in real need of a complete renovation. While the rooms have clearly been modernised, the work felt poorly executed — with adhesive laminate seemingly stuck over tiled floors and a general lack of finishing touches. The pool area also needs attention, with cracked flooring and old plastic sunbeds that have definitely seen better days. The reception area felt like a real throwback to the 1980s, especially when compared to other hotels we visited during our excursions. On the positive side, the location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach with stunning sea views and easy access to local amenities. And the staff are fantastic: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Housekeeping was spot on, and the restaurant and reception teams couldn’t do enough to help. It’s a real shame the hotel’s dated facilities don’t match the warmth and quality of its people or its unbeatable beachfront setting.

the hotel is very nice and beautiful ocean view in Karon area. Upon arrival the staff are helpful especially to Aum at front desk and the bell man help us for our luggage. we had breakfast and everyday was very nice 👍 we enjoyed our Holliday with Beyond Karon

Beyond Karon staff were always hospitable and friendly and no ask was too great. The buffet breakfast had great variety (we are both vegetarian) and the Thai food breakfast options were great. Pool areas had lot of sun loungers to relax on. The location is central to Karon with many options for dinner close by and is the closest hotel to the beach. Our bed was harder than we would have liked, but we also didn’t query it with staff but including in the review as it may help others - and maybe they have softer beds. Rooms were made up daily, and accommodated our requests for extra coffee mate.
