Good value for money considering the general price point in Patong. The staff were extremely friendly, and both pools were fantastic. Breakfast was fully stocked with a wide selection of options. The resort does lose a star, though - the lobby makes a strong first impression, but the rest of the property feels quite dated (rooms and gym especially). There are also a lot of stairs throughout, although the shuttle service helps. Overall, my wife and I still enjoyed our stay and found it to be a solid option with room for improvement. If you want a more updated experience, I would recommend booking a club room.

I had an absolutely lovely breakfast at Amari Phuket! The food selection was fantastic — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented, with something for everyone. From local Thai dishes to international options, everything was delicious and of excellent quality. What really made the experience special was the warm and attentive service. Basil, Ae, Pla, Jeab, and Aew were all wonderful — friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They made sure everything was perfect and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the meal. The view over the ocean made it all even more memorable — such a relaxing way to start the day. I can’t recommend the breakfast (and the team behind it) enough. Thank you to everyone at Amari Phuket for a delightful morning!

Beautiful views & great service We are staying at Amari Phuket Resort and having a really good experience overall. The resort has one of the best locations in Patong — close enough to the main beach and shops, yet far enough to feel peaceful and private. The staff is very polite, friendly, and always ready to help — from check-in to buggy service, everything was smooth. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a huge variety and a lovely sea view while dining. Even all the in-house restaurant are awesome. La Gritta italian restaurant has amazing food plus view to die for. Don't miss this resort .. recommend to everyone

Stayed at Amari Phuket – Here’s My Honest Take (Rating: 4/5) We stayed at Amari Phuket recently, and overall, it was a good experience—but with a few things to keep in mind. First off, the property is beautiful and spread out across a hilltop. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d highly recommend renting a two-wheeler or a car. The buggy service is available, but honestly, it’s slow and unreliable. If you miss it, you’re stuck walking—and the hotel is huge. It gets tiring, especially with kids or if you’re hosting guests. Having your own vehicle makes a big difference—you can drive straight to your room without waiting around. We booked an ocean view room, and that was definitely a highlight. The view was stunning and added a lot to the overall experience. The hotel also has direct access to Patong Beach, which is convenient, but I’ll be honest—the water quality at Patong isn’t great. If you’re looking for cleaner, more scenic beach time, Karon Beach is a much better option and not too far away. Food at Amari was good, but the variety is limited compared to Marriott properties. For example, Courtyard Marriott, which is just nearby and often similarly priced (sometimes even cheaper), offers a wider buffet and a mini water park. Their breakfast service is smoother too—you just write down what you want and it comes to your table. At Amari, you end up waiting in line for eggs and Indian veg, which feels inefficient. That said, Amari does offer Indian vegetarian options, which helped. It’s also kid-friendly with multiple pools, and the staff were generally warm and helpful. A few small things could be improved—like including a comb in the room or offering basic drinks like chocolate milkshake. Location-wise, Amari is about 700m to 1km from Bangla Street. It’s not walkable if you’re with family or trying to avoid fatigue. Again, having your own transport makes this manageable. Swimming pool must put extra warning for deep water i almost went in 9m pool hoping it won’t be deep and almost die as no pool boy near by Well it was mentioned that it is deep but i am sharing what i faced Final Thoughts: Amari Phuket is scenic and relaxing, especially if you book an ocean view room and have your own vehicle. But if you’re looking for smoother logistics, better breakfast flow, and easier mobility, Courtyard Marriott nearby might be a better fit—especially for families or short hosting stays.

Amari beach resort is a beautiful resort located at the most popular tourist spot- Patong beach. Their breakfast spread is by far the best spread I have come across - It has South East Asian, Western and South Asian cuisine options. No hotel or resort is worth its value, without a compassionate staff. I am so happy to share that Ms. Saow and her team at the front desk, ensured that we not only had a memorable stay but also kept a folllow up on how we were doing and ensuring that we had a great vacation.
