We decided to have a beach vacation with our family, and this was our first international trip to Phuket with our baby. Choosing Amari turned out to be a great decision and made this trip truly memorable for us. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team impressed us with their warm welcome and genuine smiles. A special soft toy was given to our baby, which was a very thoughtful gesture and immediately won our hearts. The staff also went the extra mile by accommodating our request for a beach-facing room, understanding that this stay would be a special experience for our baby and family. Throughout our stay, the lobby atmosphere was welcoming, with every staff member greeting us warmly and always smiling. All our special requests were fulfilled, including bottle sterilization support and providing extra towels, which made traveling with a baby much more comfortable and stress-free. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had breakfast at the hotel throughout our stay at Rim Talay. While the breakfast setup and ambiance were pleasant, I feel there is room for improvement in the variety and taste of the food. It wasn’t bad by any means, but adding more local Thai cuisine or signature delicacies could elevate the experience and give it more of a “wow” factor. In terms of cleanliness, the room was well-maintained and met an acceptable and comfortable standard. Overall, Amari is a highly recommended beach resort, especially for families. Personally, this has been one of our best travel experiences, and it will always be special as our first international vacation with my wife and baby. We truly appreciate the hospitality and care shown by the team.

We've had an amazing 10 days here and we can't fault the resort. Big thanks to the security team that have engaged with the kids everyday with smiles and laughs all around. Stayed here with my family in Jan 2026. A nice hotel. The hotel lobby is stunning although I was unaware of all the steps to rooms / pool area etc but got used to it pretty quickly and the hotel lobby team runs the shuttle bus service top class. The hotel really shines through their staff/team members, from the very start the reception team were so kind and genuine on their welcomes and through out our stay (special mention for one young lady who i got chatting too when I was querying something and she told me she did an internship and returned to work full time, very professional and friendly young receptionist, sorry can't remember name) Also special mention too 'Bae" in lobby who helped us with a query and was so kind always with a lovely smile and the security team with their salutes and also the gardeners) If I had 2 minor negatives, the rooms could have more sockets , chargers, mirrors and clothes storage room plus at the rim talay pool area , maybe in the afternoon play some chilled beach vibes music to create a Little atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in staying here again And credit to all the staff particular.

We visited Phuket in December and must say it’s one of the most amazing properties I’ve ever stayed at. We booked a sea-facing suite with two large bedrooms, a spacious hall, and a fully equipped kitchen—everything one could need. The food was excellent and the resort itself was truly fantastic. The only concern I had was the lack of medical emergency facilities. My mother had a medical issue and fainted during the buffet breakfast. Despite waiting for almost 30 minutes, no medical assistance arrived. Fortunately, a doctor who happened to be present provided immediate first aid, which helped my mother recover. While our overall experience was wonderful, this incident was disappointing. I would strongly advise guests traveling with senior citizens or anyone with medical conditions to exercise caution and be prepared.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The flooring in all the rooms in Building 7 was extremely dirty and appeared not to have been swept for a long time. For the price we paid and considering Amari is promoted as a 5-star hotel, this level of cleanliness is unacceptable and very disappointing. When I raised this issue, a staff member named Eric was dismissive and sarcastic instead of being helpful. When I informed him that I would be reporting his behaviour to the manager, he responded, “Go ahead, let me see what will happen,” and then abruptly ended the call while I was still speaking, which was highly unprofessional. In addition, my relative from another room contacted the same staff member to politely request a bottle of mineral water. Eric repeatedly responded in a rude manner saying, “What do you want? What do you want?” When my relative asked him to speak more politely, he continued dismissively saying, “I know, I know what you want.” When my relative later asked for the Wi-Fi password, his response was simply “Read the card holder,” after which he ended the call without any courtesy, explanation, or basic professionalism that one would expect from hotel staff. This experience has left us completely disappointed. Guests who are paying as much to stay in a luxury hotel should never ever be treated in such a disrespectful manner. It is fine that I am just leaving a Google review, but i do know that someone would go to the extend to put up a fight which would bring down the hotel’s reputation and standards. A hotel of this supposed standard should ensure both proper housekeeping and respectful, professional staff behaviour. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues.
