While there are many features of this hotel that were outstanding (pool access rooms, friendly and helpful staff), it was hard to compare to the amazing location directly across from Karon Beach. We ended up touring multiple parts of Phuket of course, but we spent a ton of time at the beach and just wandering up and down the streets close to the hotel. Lots of food options nearby, and the usual blend of inexpensive touristy trinkets, more upscale options, and bars. Would definitely go back.

We had such an incredible time at this gorgeous facilities! The staff is so professional and go above and beyond to make you feel like you are welcomed there! It is literally 1 minute from the beach and the rooms are super cozy, very comfortable beds, very clean and very well maintained! I would totally recommend this place to stay in Karon beach. Every single staff member greats and smiles when they see you! We absolutely loved our stay and if we are ever back will stay there again! Such a true gem to discover! Thank you so much for making us feel like at home!

Rooms and facilities were a bit dated but all acceptable for the price and expectations. Staff is wonderful and the buffet was good despite the limited variety however the al carte food was pricey and not good at all. Overall a pleasant experience at this hotel.

31stAug:My stay here was better because of the excellent customer service I received from these young professional adults from Nepal and Myanmar, Krisha, Thant, Anmol, chet, Dave, Amish, Abee, Eugene, Yu ching.They went out of their way to ensure the best customer service. They were attentive, polite,professional and conversed in English very well. Krisha went the extra mile. She saw us waiting downstairs a long time as the bolt drivers to airport kept canceling as the fare was too low for the driver. Krisha came and assisted us to book a ride.
Furthermore andaman seaview is away from noisy pubs and activities. Its a short ride away to these entertainments though.This will definitely be my next stay in Karon again.
20Aug:I have yet to stay here ,but im.already impressed with the great customer service from Ms Yu Ching.She was very polite and professional. She patiently answered my many queries and provided answers as well as very useful information. I have no doubt ,with such professionalism of Ms Yu Ching ,that this hotel experience itself will be amazing.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at Orchidacea very much!
The room was a very good size and was modern, no complaints there at all. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The pool was great, never too busy, but a good vibe and perfect for sunbathing. We made good use of the gym too, which is pretty decent.
Breakfast was ok, we’re happy with just some toast and croissants, but we weren’t blown away like we were at somewhere we stayed in Koh Samui. The food at the pool and restaurant was very good though.
It’s really well positioned with some great restaurants not too far away. I would maybe consider staying in one of the hotels actually on the bay of Kata Noi next time as the vibe was much nicer that way compared to Kata.
One thing to note, there are a lot of steps up to the hotel rooms. We’re in our 20s and fit, so it wasn’t an issue, but if you have any mobility issues the. Definitely check what options they have before booking!

I want to tell you about vacation in Orchidacea Resort. Rested in early December.
The main request was a beautiful view from the room. He was great. The room was clean, towels were enough, even bathrobes.
The staff liked the most at the reception. Very nice and nice.
The hotel has a communication system with guests through Watsapp. Any requests and problems are solved instantly. We asked lunch boxes several times, all in time, fresh, tasty and lots of😊
The pool is cleaned daily, Sun loungers and umbrellas are enough.
Breakfast is varied, fruit many, there are 2 types of soup and different meat dishes.
The hotel liked very much! I recommend everyone. Let's go back-be sure only here.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, and the staff are amazing. My Daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights and loved every mintue, ideal location although it does have steps up to reception and to the rooms but there is a services to be taken to your room via an vehicle. There is a free shuttle service to and from the beaches but never used it as we like to walk and discover the area we are staying.
We did have a thai massage are the hotel which was just what we needed, a little different from massages in the UK but definitely did the trick and would go back again.
There is a lovely outdoor pool play area and pool table are under cover.

For us it was the best choice to stay in Orchidacea Resort hotel. We really value waking up to beautiful views and amazing service. Only thing is that there is no elevator so you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the top. But there's a small car to bring you up with your luggage and whenever you don't feel like climbing up yourself. The staff in this hotel in unbelievably helpful. My husband got sick one night around 2am and they found us a doctor to visit in the room. Also its such a clean hotel we chose to dine here multiple times. Something i didnt see in other hotels, they have what'sup and you can contact them with whatever you need. They take really good care of you and i would definitely come back to stay at this hotel.

Perfect location, at the quieter end of Patong beach.
Hotel was nice, room decor is old but clean and still perfectly fine.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Bar closed at 10pm so never too noisy at night and there are plenty of bars close by when you do want to stay up late.
Pool was quiet and always easy to get sunbeds.
Had a wonderful stay.

The hotel does require you to put down a deposit, the rooms are spacious, we had a connecting rooms for kids. One of the rooms the AC was always an issue, the hallways on the elevator does not have AC as it’s an open concept. The elevator when you step in feels like you are enclosed in a hot sauna. The front desk people are very unfriendly, they make no eye contact, it was very disappointing at this place as rest of the people of the country are so amazing. The breakfast buffet has good variety, but the food is below average. The location is OK not that great, it is very far away from the nicer side. I would not stay here again.

The location is so near the beach, very comfortable to spot and there are numerous shops nearby.
The service was great including room service, in-dining and front desk.
The rooms were pretty sorted, the usecurity lockers worked well unlike other hotels we stayed in phuket.
We were requested to pay 1000baht as safety deposit and were told to retain the bill to claim the refund at the end of the stay. The receptionist Gabriel was extremely helpful throughout our 3 days stay.

We had a lovely two week stay at this hotel. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. The pools are large and there is plenty of seating and loungers. The rooms are a good size and cleaned everyday. We will definitely be recommending this place

The Patong Seaview hotel is a decent place to stay.
It's slightly dated but the rooms are very clean and serviced every day.
The waiting staff are very good and the room cleaning staff are great.
The reception team are pretty useless as every time we asked for something it was either a service no longer offered by the hotel or they just couldn't be bothered.
Would we stay there again, probably yes as it was a good position and slightly off the main drag so a little quieter than being further up the beach rode.
It was definitely decent value and we enjoyed our stay.

This resort is like a little slice of peace and paradise hidden away in Phuket. Our room was basically a 2 person flat with a fantastic bath, super cozy couch (perfect for a movie night) and tons of space. The only problems were that the air con was too cold, the light switches were a bit hard to navigate sometimes, and that we had two twin beds, but plenty of space for bigger beds which wouldve been more comfortable.
That being said, the service was amazing. The breakfast buffet was a highlight for us, and the thai food was great too. Manny and Poonang were so helpful and kind, even booking us a taxi on their own phone to help us get to the old town. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at the Ocean view villa. Totally amazing place. Huge pool area with nice sea views and sun sets. Free espresso, water, tea and plenty of amenities. We stayed nine nights in a Spa Pavilion Villa and honestly loved everything about it. The villa was spacious, spotless and even nicer than in the photos. I got engaged here and the team (especially Ben!) helped me organise a private dinner by the water that turned out absolutely perfect. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to, and the whole place had such a calm, White Lotus kind of vibe. Great cocktails at 360 Bar too - we’ll definitely be back.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. I had a lovely view of the lagoon, which made mornings feel extra serene. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little welcome touches from the staff made me feel taken care of, even though I was traveling alone.
Even though it was the holiday period and the hotel was quite lively, the huge property meant it never felt crowded. There were plenty of quiet corners to relax. The main pool was a highlight—large, scenic, and great for both lounging and swimming.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, from Thai dishes to fresh tropical fruits. Even as a solo traveler, I never felt awkward; the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy my morning coffee by the poo

An incredible pleasant experience.
The front office staff is amazing and so smiling. They welcome you with a refreshment during the check-in and they take you to the room explaining everything in a simple and perfect way.
During our staying they were always available to help giving many information making our holiday special.
The room was amazing with a beautiful view of the Laguna from the two floors.
The ground floor was a living room with a toilet and a huge balcony with two sunbeds.
At the first one a big bedroom with another balcony and a really nice bathroom with shower and a bathub in an open space.
We had a chance to have breakfast in both the places, a la carte and buffet.
A la carte has a menu where you can choose the option you prefer and a small buffet where you can find many options, both Thai and not.
The breakfast buffet has a large offer of options. Everything is well prepared with a great quality, thanks to the chef and waitresses for your amazing service.
During the week at Angsana we spent some time at the Loy Krathong Bar, the Pool Bar and the one at the beach. All the places are very nice with a lovely atmosphere.
The staff is wonderful, they are always happy to provide a great experience.
I strongly recommend this fabulous hotel, the best experience I have ever had.

We had a wonderful stay at Angsana Lagoon and truly enjoyed our time at the hotel.
There was a small misunderstanding with the towels, but the manager and the entire team were incredibly friendly, attentive, and did everything possible to resolve the situation quickly and professionally. Their attitude and willingness to help made a very positive impression.
We were also deeply grateful for the unexpected birthday cake and candles prepared for our son. We often travel during the New Year holidays, and this was the first time a hotel team personally congratulated our child. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture, and a truly pleasant surprise for our whole family.
Overall, Angsana Lagoon is a fantastic hotel with a warm atmosphere and a genuinely caring team. We would be happy to return again.

I had a wonderful stay at Angsana Laguna Phuket. The resort is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly located by the lagoon and beach, making it ideal for both relaxation and activities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed, with great views and a calm atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to dining and activities, the service was excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable. The pool area is fantastic, and the beach access is a big plus, especially for sunsets.
Overall, Angsana Laguna Phuket is a perfect choice for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing resort experience in Phuket. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

After spending five wonderful days in a boutique hotel 5* in Krabi, we arrived at this hotel in Phuket for the next four nights, paying even more per night than in Krabi — around €500 per night for a double room with breakfast.
From the very first moments, it was a total disappointment.
The hotel is huge and extremely crowded, with no Thai character or charm at all. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is poor quality, more like a 3-star hotel in Europe. There was a strong smell of dampness in the room, and visible mold in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable at this price level.
We had a sea view room, but opening the terrace door meant being immediately invaded by mosquitoes. On top of that, sun loungers were placed directly in front of the room, with people sitting there all day, completely blocking the view and any sense of privacy.
The beach is public, with sunbeds packed tightly next to each other, offering no feeling of exotic Thailand — it felt crowded, noisy, and impersonal.
Breakfast was served in a very crowded restaurant. While the selection was large, the quality of the food was poor and far below expectations for a hotel charging these rates.
This is clearly a mass tourism hotel. I can only assume that most guests booked it through heavily discounted packages (perhaps at one-third of the price), because paying €500 per night for this experience is simply unjustifiable.
The only positive aspect is that after one night, the hotel refunded the remaining nights, and we were lucky to find availability at another hotel for a slightly higher price. The difference was huge — the beach, the hotel, and the overall experience were incomparable and fully worth the price.
Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations in any way and cannot be recommended.

Great hotel running along side Kata Noi beach with amazing facilties and the best staff. So friendly and helpful. Will return to this hotel. Nice quiet location for families but only 5min from Kata for a busier night out if desired.
We were here with 20 family members and they catered for us very well. Just need to allow more time in the restaurants if there is lots of you. There is a buffet option which was the quickest.
We experienced the Christmas Eve Gala which was expensive but worth every penny. The food was exceptional and we had some entertainment 👌

A great four-night stay at SAii Laguna Phuket — we would highly recommend it. Our room was fantastic, with the day beds a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The ferry and shuttle services were convenient, and the facilities, including the waterslide and games area, were excellent for the kids.
A special mention to Jintana (Gift), who was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay and warmly welcomed us on arrival. Thank you also for organising the club privileges, which made the experience even more special. A shout-out to Helena and Dani, who were also wonderful during our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at SAii Laguna Phuket and overall we were very satisfied. The staff were consistently friendly, quick to respond, and professional, always doing their best to help.
The kids club was a real highlight. Our daughter loved it, the activities were well organized, and the staff were warm and attentive. It made a big difference to our stay and allowed us to relax.
One drawback is that the rooms are somewhat soundproof, and during our stay we occasionally experienced noise from our Russian neighbours in the evenings. The hotel staff handled this well and did their best to assist us.
It’s also worth noting that during our visit, the majority of guests appeared to be Russian. This may be useful information for travelers who prefer a more mixed international atmosphere.
Overall, a very nice resort with great service and an excellent kids club.

This property does not meet five-star standards and, based on my experience, barely delivers the level of service expected of a two-star hotel.
The service throughout the stay was consistently unprofessional. Staff were unhelpful, rude, and often dismissive, with a clear lack of basic hospitality training and common sense. This was especially evident among the restaurant and breakfast staff, where simple requests were met with attitude rather than assistance. The staff have no training and barely understand English.
What was most disappointing was the repeated attempt by management - general manager Bart (with one exception Helen who was kind and apologetic) to justify poor service by blaming “peak season.” This excuse is unacceptable. The hotel is already charging significantly inflated peak-season rates, yet appears understaffed and unprepared to deliver even basic service levels. Peak season is predictable — poor planning is not an excuse.

By sending champagne bottle in room cannot justify their lack of service and professionalism. We have left champagne bottle inside the room .
Another concern was transport. The hotel relies on third-party vehicles that were dirty, unhygienic, and completely inconsistent with a five-star brand. This was only fixed on the return transfer once raised.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
The only positive worth mentioning is that the hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms themselves are modern and in good condition. However, nice rooms and facilities alone do not make a five-star hotel — service does.
I would not recommend this property, particularly given its pricing. Until service culture, staff training, and accountability are addressed, SAii Laguna Phuket does not deserve its five-star positioning.

Saii Laguna Phuket is not a resort. It is a masterclass in how to burn money slowly while being gaslit politely.
We booked 3 rooms for 6 people. The confirmation clearly said 3 rooms. We paid 53,000+ baht per night, totalling well over 150,000 baht for 3 nights. That is not “premium.” That is elite luxury pricing. At that rate you expect competence to be the bare minimum.
Instead, we arrived and were handed 2 rooms.
Two.
Not a delay. Not a mistake they rushed to fix. Just two rooms and a straight face. And then came the cherry on this overpriced disaster cake: they offered a bed for the third person as if they were doing us a favour. A bed. As compensation for an entire room missing. Imagine paying for a luxury car and being handed a bicycle with a complimentary bell.
When confronted, the staff admitted there was “miscommunication” and then did absolutely nothing about it. No urgency. No accountability. No solution. Just the same hollow corporate breathing exercises disguised as customer service. They were essentially telling us: yes we messed up, no we will not fix it, please smile and sleep on the extra bed.
The manager, Warang Porit, was shockingly helpless. Not rude. Not aggressive. Worse. Useless. The kind of management presence that exists only to absorb complaints and convert them into nothing.
And because this place loves adding insult to injury, the location is another trap. Saii Laguna is far from most of what people actually come to Phuket for. Ride apps refuse trips because it is too inconvenient. You wait forever for acceptance, then wait again for pickup, and pay around 1,000 baht per ride. So even after being robbed inside the resort, you get robbed again just to leave it. A luxury resort with no proper transport solution is not “secluded.” It is stranded.
This resort also managed to ruin what was supposed to be a celebration. Nothing says “happy birthday” like fighting at reception over rooms you already paid for, while staff stand around as if this is a normal Tuesday.
We left within hours. Because staying longer would have meant accepting the humiliation as part of the package.
Saii Laguna Phuket is where expectations go to die. If you are considering booking this place, do yourself a favour and spend your money literally anywhere else, including a beach chair and a coconut. At least the coconut will not pretend you did not pay for the third room.

Lovely rooms - could do with some minor sprucing up in places, but clean and comfortable. We had a room in the main block for the first 5 nights of our stay, then enjoyed a week in room 101. Waking to the sound of the ocean was heaven.
There's not much beach directly in front of the hotel, but lovely, wide beaches just a few metres away to the left or right and the sea is great for swimming.
All in all we loved this resort and would gladly return.

When hi tide, there is no beach in front of the hotel and you will have to walk around to get to the beach westwards that is wider. The main road going around the island is extremely busy and dangerous/unpleasant to run along and since there is no fitness center at the hotel, you can feel a bit locked in. But I guess this accounts for the whole island...

We enjoyed the resort. Our beachfront room, the staff and setting are (mostly) wonderful, and I would love to give them 5 stars. I just can’t. There were several problems that we could not resolve.
We had a very nice room with our own deck, day bed, beach chairs and hammmock. It could have been the most relaxing setting on Samui, but the room air conditioning did not work well. I set it to 18C (~65F) and the room would not cool down. We had to run the fan at full blast and the A/C at full blast and it was still too hot in the room at night to sleep comfortably. It may have gotten down to 78F, but it was probably closer to 80 degrees in the room at night.
We mentioned this twice. Twice we were told it was fixed. We stayed four nights but should probably have moved to a different hotel after the first night. That’s on us. We were told we could check out any time, but the setting was so peaceful, we decided to stay and hope their fruitless efforts to make the A/C work would allow for some sleep. Instead, we were just melting/sweating at night and exhausted from our stay.
Also, the waterfront pool was under construction. We were not notified about the construction in advance, which they should have done, but were given a BHT1000 credit towards a meal at the restaurant. A thousand bhat goes a long way at the restaurant. Had one meal there and enjoyed it thoroughly, other than the smoking. See below.
There are two pools, and we spent a lot of time cooling off in the second pool, which is just lovely. But the construction was somewhat intrusive and noisy.
Lastly, this is NOT a non-smoking resort. We were really very surprised by the numbers of smokers. We had to frequently move restaurant tables and our beach chairs to avoid smoke. Minor inconvenience, but that is worth noting for those who are sensitive to smoke.

Recent stay here was fine but nothing special (except for the sunset views which were amazing). Our family interconnecting bedrooms were modernised and plenty big enough for us and the children. Showers temperamental on pressure and temperature. Staff were efficient but not overly communicative. Breakfast buffet was good, more choices before 10am after this time it was a bit depleted. Lunch and dinner food was ok but there are better options off resort. On the negatives, the outside areas and pools are in dire need of investment and refurb. the pools have seen better days and one had broken tiles so the children couldn’t use without water shoes (available to buy not loaned). The beach is accessed via steps…and it is a very narrow strip, only suitable for swimming not actually sunbathing on sand. There are sun loungers on the built up area which have a pleasant view of the sea. A couple of nice local beach restaurants further down the beach which you can walk to along the beach, depending on the tides. There’s a minibus to the local Fisherman’s Market for a small charge pp (cheaper than a taxi).
Check the other reviews before booking and I’d say if you have small children that like to paddle / play on the sand this isn’t the place for you.

The staff here are all extraordinary - very kind and friendly people, who will go the extra mile for you. They remember your name, and always checking if you need anything.
The rooms are beautiful, so big and comfy, and very clean. Lots of mirrors, towels, robes, plug sockets and a separate sofa with tv area to relax in. And cute towel decoration too!
We had a couple of issues with ours though - first night, our bathroom flooded due to an issue with the drains but this was quickly resolved by by maintenance and the second night our air conditioning wouldn’t work, this was fixed the next day and we were temporarily moved to another room to sleep. Although frustrating, we appreciate it was two breakdowns out of control and the manager did email us with an apology and solution quickly.
The pool was really good, very clean and always plenty of comfortable sun-beds available with towels. We enjoyed relaxing here!
Breakfast was great, lots of selection and all kept hot. I’d recommend including breakfast in your stay as that’s worth the money.
The club lounge food was nice, although some of it cold even under the heat lamp it was nice to have that option.
The location is good, 7 eleven is next door for any snacks you may want for your room and a 10-15 minute walk to Lamai night market and the bars. One thing to note is the hotel and pool/restaurant (Edgewater) are split by a busy road but there are always security staff there helping you to the cross the road who take the safety very seriously.
Overall, it’s a nice hotel which I think a little overpriced (especially the restaurant!) but I would recommend a visit - we done a 3 night break here in between our travels which was enough.

Our experience at Outrigger has been truly memorable. Toey has been consistently pleasant, attentive, and always happy to help. Her approach is warm yet highly professional, and her thoughtful interactions, especially during breakfast service, made our mornings genuinely welcoming. The warmth she brings feels sincere and adds great value to the guest experience.
Beyond this, the overall hospitality has been excellent. The pool facilities are fantastic, the infrastructure is well-designed and well-maintained, and the rooms were very comfortable with unexpectedly thoughtful service throughout our stay. The Club 47 staff also deserve special mention for their courteous and attentive service.
It is the combination of such dedicated staff, quality facilities, and refined hospitality that makes Outrigger a place we would be happy to return to again.

We have just spent 2 weeks at Outrigger. The hotel was lovely with the most beautiful and clean pool areas. We enjoyed our breakfast everyday with lots of choice. A special mention to Boat on the egg station. I loved the fresh omelettes and the hollandaise eggs. Not forgetting all the staff at the hotel they were so attentive and even remembered our names. They made our holiday special. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel in Lami. It is a 10-15 min walk on the road or along the beach to get to the main hustle and bustle of Lami. So this resort is nicely tucked away from it all.
The resort itself is split by the main road that runs around the island, which is a very busy road. However there are traffic security that help you cross at the crossing, so it is not a major issue.
The main hotel is lovely and very colonial in appearance. There is a small pool near the breakfast area. I found it strange that this area was only used for breakfast and that they did not serve and food or drinks here. But it wasnt a problem, it meant we had a nice area to sit with our own drinks and food.
The rooms are very nice. Air con was a bit noisy. We had interconnecting rooms with the kids, which worked great. Only issue for me was that we supposedly had a balcony view. But is was awful. It overlooked some apartments and kitchen in the next building, it also did not have any furniture to sit on (I noticed others did). So it was pointless having the balcony.
The main resort area over the main road was very nice. Nice pools and on the beach. This is not a private beach, so others are around. But it was fine and secure all the same. There was a small pier with a outdoor gym (bit run down) and a massage hut on, which was great. The restaurant food and drinks were lovely, with a huge offering off food inc western plates. It was not cheap compared to Thai standards, but cheaper than home.
Good for families and people that want some luxury away from the main area. There was a decent enough gym and a free games room.
All in, it was a nice enough place to stay.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic pool / beach bar that is across the road from the main hotel. The hotel itself is in a good location - 10 mins walk from the night market which is open every day from 2pm till 12am.
Huge call out to the general manager Leanne who helped us upgrade our room. We started our stay here in the superior double - okay room but small and not a lot of space for our 1 year old to crawl around so we upgraded to a suite and if can I would recommend it.
The beach pool bar is great, several pools and free kayak and paddle board.
As for staff, they really go above and beyond! The kitchen staff Sert and Parn - unbelievable, helped make food that my 1 year could have. Really went out their way here!!
The play area staff also were so engaging, Pin spent so much time with my little one helping him take his first steps!
Overall would recommend this hotel!

The location was great, within walking distance of Fishermans Village and other shops and restaurants. The only downside we experienced was that only the first watersport use was free for your whole stay (even if you did a free group activity before your "first" anytime use). The watersports should be included for guests, at least one a day. Some of the activities are chargeable, which is understandable, the soap carving was great, our daughter loved it. The cocktails were pricey compared to other restaurants in the area but was worth having during the happy hours. The food was great, we were especially impressed with the variety of food on offer. We would love to visit again.

Once again, we had a more than wonderful stay at the Bandara Spa Resort & Pool Villas in Koh Samui.
The resort is beautifully maintained, peacefully located, and right on the beach, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The friendly and attentive staff truly make the difference and welcome us warmly every time we visit. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and high quality, and the pool area is generous and relaxing.
The location is ideal: quiet, yet very close to Fisherman’s Village with great restaurants and small shops.
We visit twice every year, and for good reason.
A place to relax, feel at home, and always look forward to returning.

Absolutely incredible hotel. I stayed for two nights in a pool villa and it was the most awesome room I’ve stayed in - massive double cabana, plunge pool, even an outdoor shower and sunken bathtub. Four poster bed, amazing beach and pool area/gardens. The grounds are beautiful and staff super friendly and helpful. Food is great. Amazing location too. I loved it so much I decided to come back and stay for a few nights this week as I didn’t like my other hotel and this place is so special. Cannot recommend enough!

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt warm and welcoming.
A special thank-you to the incredible staff who made my stay unforgettable. Fanny and Salma were always friendly and helpful, making sure every detail was perfect. Nam provided excellent service and was always ready to assist with anything I needed. Lift was extremely professional and attentive, and Jenny greeted me with a smile every day and made me feel right at home.
Their dedication and kindness truly made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and a positive experience. I will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Bandara as a family of four with two young children aged 2 and 4. The views were stunning and the pools superb. We stayed in early december and the resort felt extremely spacious. Sunbeds were always available at all locations. The food in the restaurant was very good. The resort is a quick stroll from the Walking Street in Fishermans Village, however it is not a comfortable walk with a stroller since the street is very busy and the sidewalk not very good. Without a stroller you can walk by the beach instead, which takes just a couple of minutes! Staff was very friendly. We would love to return.

I'm writing this review from the hotel right now. My wife, son, and I had a very comfortable 10-day holiday. The hotel is located at the beginning of the main street in Chaweng Beach, a famous area of Koh Samui. It's situated in the lively atmosphere of Chaweng, but also offers endless peace and relaxation when you retreat to your room or hotel. The staff are generally very kind. I don't know about all the rooms, but the suites are quite spacious and provide all the comforts. The mini-bar is replenished daily. The breakfast has a wide variety. The internet speed is acceptable. The deposit they take upon arrival is a bit high. There are two beautiful swimming pools, one on the beach and one in the inner courtyard. And the inner courtyard pool bar is especially nice, and the staff there are very polite. The biggest problem at the pools is that even in the early morning hours, guests occupy the sunbeds by placing their towels there. The hotel management needs to be stricter about this. The beach is very beautiful and peaceful. During our visit (the second half of January), due to the tide, the beach disappeared until late afternoon, but in the evening it was incredibly peaceful. The gym is very clean, and although there isn't a lot of equipment, you can still keep up with your workout while on vacation. There were complaints about neglect on booking sites and in reviews here. While these comments are valid, I didn't see much neglect or wear and tear. Yes, there are minor things. And also, the resort is practically in the sea, so this kind of wear and tear is normal. But still, I don't think it's a 5-star hotel. However, I was quite satisfied with my stay and, as someone who has seen other parts of Koh Samui, I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Koh Samui.

We had a wonderful stay at Chaweng Beach Resort. The hospitality was warm and welcoming from the start. We booked a Premier Room with a pool view, which was spacious and comfortable. The property has two beautiful pools, and both were absolutely fantastic to relax in.
Breakfast was great as well, with plenty of options to choose from each morning.
The only downside was the beach most of the time the tide was high, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. However, the street nearby makes up for it with lots of restaurants, pubs, and places to hang out.
Overall, we really enjoyed our 3-night stay and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

We loved the location, the quiet of the resort and the room. We had booked one grand premiere double room and got 602 at check-in. Not sure if this was an update or what, buy we liked it.
Clean, spacious, quiet.
Breakfast had a lot of options. We loved our stay overall, well positioned. Nice people and overall good service.

We were greeted with refreshments, staff were friendly and welcoming. Took our bags to the room whilst we checked in. The breakfast had a great selection and overall the food menu catered for most. Great location to have sea views whilst eating breakfast. There is Parking across the road which was ideal for us accessed via a card. Had a seperate card for towels which was useful although if card got lost we had to pay additional fee (expected). There was never a problem getting Sunbeds as were all around the poolside. Overall hotel was convenient. Would come again.

Back in July '25 we stayed at Chaweng for a few nights and had our wedding here! We had an unbelievable experience, all staff were super kind and helpful. Every day we were greeted with warm smiles and were chatting with everyone. The wedding planner, Air, was 10/10 - she was meticulous with every detail and was very clear with the information and plan for the day. Our guests had a brilliant time too and some are even visiting again next year! We're excited to come back ourselves, and we certainly will! Thank you Chaweng!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish.
The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could possibly need. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough every day.
The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar team, everyone made me feel genuinely welcome.
The location was ideal — not too far from everything, but still quiet and peaceful at night.
Breakfast was varied and delicious every morning, with fresh ingredients and plenty of options.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This resort exceeded all my expectations and I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I stayed here for 14 nights with my other half from Boxing Day onwards. It was unbelievable. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we tipped heavily as they were just so welcoming, every single day with a huge smile on their faces. The location was amazing, the pools were great, the room [private pool room] was brilliant. The cleaners were amazing, the grounds and landscaping was beautiful. We have stayed in top resorts around the world, mostly Europe, and this is on par with them if not better than most. The food, wow, honestly, it was beyond any food I have ever eaten, and credit to the cooks, because you don’t see them, but the food they produce is just top draw. Overall this holiday was the best holiday we have ever been on, and we will stay here again without a doubt. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Koh Samui. Yes it’s expensive, but there is a reason for that, and that reason is it’s a 5 star resort, without a doubt. I actually found some of the guests to be so rude to the staff it was frustrating, out of the whole stay, it was actually other guests that annoyed me by their arrogance and rudeness to staff. Clearly have a bit of money and think the world revolves around them.

What a wonderful experience from stepping out of the taxi until checking out. As a person who has traveled in different countries around the world I would highly recommend this hotel if you visiting Koh Samui. All staff are so helpful and nice. You feel more like a part of the family than just a guest with a room number. The breakfast were really good, they had something for everyone, they also changed some of the courses from day to day which was fun. The caramel sauce and bread and much more were homemade which gave that “little extra”. Excellent food, from Thai cuisine to English fish and chips. The rooms had everything you can ask for. Spacious environment, bathroom facilities, board games and wardrobes and cabinets. A lovely experience. A bit pricier than other hotels, but you don’t mind while you get to enjoy everything I wrote above. After a couple of days after checking out of this hotel we came back to enjoy a stunning dinner and the staff remembers us and was very welcoming.

We stayed at Melati Hotel & Spa for the second part of our Koh Samui trip and it was everything we had hoped for from a five-star hotel.
The grounds are stunningly beautiful and incredibly peaceful. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and perfectly suited for switching off. The hotel feels very well cared for and thoughtfully designed.
Having read some other reviews beforehand, I think it’s important to note that location is key here. Yes, the hotel is slightly outside the main busy areas, but that is exactly what you are paying for, to be away from the hustle and bustle. We found this to be a huge positive. Grab taxis were quick, easy, and readily available, making it simple to get to the main areas of the island whenever we wanted.
The staff were excellent throughout our stay: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A special shout-out to An, who is currently training at Melati. He was absolutely brilliant and consistently delivered true five-star service, attentive, warm, and professional beyond his years.
The food in the restaurant was amazing, both in quality and presentation, and easily one of the highlights of our stay.
We stayed in one of the Pool Villas facing the Sanctuary Pool, which I would highly recommend. This adults-only pool area is incredibly peaceful, a real sun trap, and a standout feature of the hotel. The villa itself was huge, beautifully laid out, and kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping team. Having direct access to the Sanctuary Pool from the back entrance of the villa was ideal and made the experience feel extra special.
The bed and pillows were a little on the firm side for our personal preference, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.
The beach is beautiful and very well maintained, with plenty of space for guests. Just be mindful that some people do go down early to reserve loungers with towels.
Overall, we would highly recommend Melati Hotel & Spa, especially the Pool Villas facing the Sanctuary Pool. A truly relaxing, high-quality stay and a place we would happily return to.

We had honeymoon here with my wife for 8 nights. We never ever met such a friendly stuff in hotel, they are more than amazing. Enviroment in this hotel is briliant, tree, palms, grass, waterfalls etc...Thank you for pleasent stay and get back soon.
