I'm writing this review from the hotel right now. My wife, son, and I had a very comfortable 10-day holiday. The hotel is located at the beginning of the main street in Chaweng Beach, a famous area of ​​Koh Samui. It's situated in the lively atmosphere of Chaweng, but also offers endless peace and relaxation when you retreat to your room or hotel. The staff are generally very kind. I don't know about all the rooms, but the suites are quite spacious and provide all the comforts. The mini-bar is replenished daily. The breakfast has a wide variety. The internet speed is acceptable. The deposit they take upon arrival is a bit high. There are two beautiful swimming pools, one on the beach and one in the inner courtyard. And the inner courtyard pool bar is especially nice, and the staff there are very polite. The biggest problem at the pools is that even in the early morning hours, guests occupy the sunbeds by placing their towels there. The hotel management needs to be stricter about this. The beach is very beautiful and peaceful. During our visit (the second half of January), due to the tide, the beach disappeared until late afternoon, but in the evening it was incredibly peaceful. The gym is very clean, and although there isn't a lot of equipment, you can still keep up with your workout while on vacation. There were complaints about neglect on booking sites and in reviews here. While these comments are valid, I didn't see much neglect or wear and tear. Yes, there are minor things. And also, the resort is practically in the sea, so this kind of wear and tear is normal. But still, I don't think it's a 5-star hotel. However, I was quite satisfied with my stay and, as someone who has seen other parts of Koh Samui, I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Koh Samui.

Been traveling for 5+ plus years overall and this is by far the best value for money resort you can get. Poolside room is what the doctor ordered and Joe Joe at the pool bar knows how to pour an alcoholic beverage. All the staff were very very very friendly and accommodating. Location to Chaweng beach and night life is perfect. We have been here multiple times and it just never disappoints. Highly recommend - photos don’t do it justice.

This was our second stay at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort, and after another fantastic experience, it absolutely deserves a glowing review. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single staff member was exceptional. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, with an incredible variety of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste. What impressed us even more was how quickly the team replenished anything that was running low, ensuring there was always a full selection available no matter what time we arrived. It was one of the best resort breakfasts we’ve experienced. Room service was another standout. Every meal arrived promptly, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The housekeeping team also deserves special recognition. Our room was cleaned with incredible attention to detail each morning, leaving it spotless and beautifully presented when we returned. One of the highlights of our stay was the private romantic dinner on the beach. This was actually the second time we’ve booked the experience, and it was just as magical as we remembered. Although the rain interrupted the beginning of the evening, the team seamlessly relocated us to a beautifully arranged private corner of the restaurant. Their effort to preserve the atmosphere and make the evening feel special was truly appreciated and turned what could have been a disappointment into another unforgettable memory. I’ve noticed some reviews mentioning aircraft noise due to the resort being under the flight path. While this is true, it’s simply part of the resort’s location. Personally, we loved watching the planes pass overhead, and our daughter thought it was one of the highlights of the holiday. With the island’s night-time flight curfew, it certainly never affected our sleep. A special mention also goes to the General Manager, Joakim, whom we had the pleasure of meeting during the cocktail evening on our previous stay. It was immediately evident that he takes immense pride in the resort and its operations. His genuine interest in speaking with guests and ensuring everyone was enjoying their stay reflects the high standards evident throughout the entire property. Great resorts start with great leadership, and Joakim is a wonderful ambassador for the resort. Chaweng Regent Beach Resort continues to exceed our expectations, and after two wonderful stays, we wouldn’t hesitate to return for a third. Thank you to Joakim and the entire team for another memorable holiday. We can’t wait to be back!

I here’s my Honest review to be honest I would never stay here. This place is horrible and I do not recommend it at all as I am currently staying here. Room Condition Was Not Up To Standards Our room was not cleaned properly, as the mattress was dirty, and the bath water was not clear but instead was murky. Basic standards of cleanliness and working plumbing should be provided in a resort of this category and price range, and their absence is unacceptable. Lack of Flexibility Concerning Our Diet We are on a special diet; thus, there are several things we cannot eat. After swimming with the children, they wanted to eat something as they were hungry and so that they would not have to get out of the pool. Our only option was to bring food ourselves as the pool restaurant could not provide anything that would suit our dietary requirements. We did not want the children to get out of the pool, get changed, go to the pool restaurant, and then return to the pool afterward, thus spending a lot of time on a relatively minor task. The Pool Attendant Was Unfriendly and Refused to Provide Any Alternatives Despite Our Situation Pool attendants stated that outside food was not allowed at the pool. When we explained that it was due to our dietary restrictions, and we only wanted our children to eat something so that they would not be hungry, they were completely unfeeling and did not suggest any alternatives. They showed no reaction whatsoever when we informed them of our dietary restrictions, and no one even thought of checking with a manager if there was something they could do to help. It was a relatively simple solution to the problem, but the staff was utterly unprepared to handle it and reacted with indignation at our seemingly modest request. As Such, Our Children Had to Leave the Pool Area Hungry with No Alternative Being Provided A Similar Situation Occurred When My Daughter Ordered a Piña Colada at the Bar. Since There Was No Menu, She Could Not Know What Was In the Drink, and It Turned Out to Contain Lemon Juice, Something She Did Not Want. Again, Nothing Was Done to Assist the Guest Despite the Obvious Inconvenience Caused. The staff bluntly told the customer that she should have known to ask for the drink without lemon juice, despite there being no menu at all, thus making it impossible to know what was in the drink. Again, no alternatives were suggested, and no apology was given. There was no recognition of this as an issue, much less an issue created by the staff. The entire problem was presented as a personal error on the part of the guest, who was being unnecessarily harassed by the staff. The Same Arrogance Was Demonstrated Toward Us, Despite Us Being Completely Unaware of the Circumstances of the Pool and Room Attendant This was not an isolated issue but instead occurred throughout our stay at the resort. In each case, responsibility was placed on us even though the initial mistake had been made by the hotel employees at the pool, restaurant, and room. The same dismissiveness was demonstrated toward us even though we had not made any errors ourselves. The Lack of Flexibility Demonstrated Was Inexcusable in This Context It is the responsibility of hotel staff to be considerate and flexible where appropriate and to take responsibility for mistakes and failures to perform their duties. None of these considerations were shown in our experience at Chaweng Beach Resort, where we felt insulted and even unwelcome by the staff. The hotel has an unacceptable attitude toward its guests. Final Impressions Between the unclean room, the rudeness of the staff, their unwillingness to provide any alternatives for food and drink despite our dietary restrictions, and their failure to take responsibility for their actions, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Families with children and those on special diets have my most sincere apologies, and I suggest that they find a more welcoming and flexible resort elsewhere.

Our stay here was great! The villa was clean, Meaw was really nice and helpful. Even thought it was next to the pool, it was quiet. Most important, it was far from the noise on the street. Breakfast was delicious, having a large variety to choose from. The resort is pretty big, so you can take long walks along the boardwalks. There was one downside for us - the AC unit was right above the bed, so the cold air was blowing on you all night. Having a baby with us, that was quite a challenge.
