The Amari Hotel is truly a wonderful place. The service is excellent, and the reception staff and all the employees are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Everyone is always smiling and genuinely eager to help. They constantly go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. We have been coming here for more than 20 years, almost every year, and it still feels just as special each time. It’s a place we love, and we will definitely keep coming back for many more years. The value for money is fantastic , you get a lot for what you pay. The breakfast is delicious and enjoyable, the view is stunning, and the beach is beautiful. Overall, this hotel offers a warm atmosphere, great service, and an amazing location. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 weeks at the Amari and we weren’t disappointed with anything. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and made up daily to a high standard. In addition to the rooms, the outside area of the hotel was very attentively cleaned all the time. You will see people sweeping and cleaning all the time including the pools. The hotel is situated on the edge of Chaweng meaning you are away from the height of activity in town centre giving you full control of your nights out. In addition, it was my partners birthday while we were there so without me even prompting them they left a cake and a card in our room from the hotel wishing her a happy birthday of which she was overjoyed with, thank you again Amari. All in all, a very positive experience at the Amari Koh Samui and will definitely return.

Myself and 14 friends just got back from a group trip here and we all want to go back already. The staff were amazing and made a huge effort to get to know us, and make our stay more enjoyable. Big thanks to Nanathawan who had a lot of patience for the needs of our large group. I think over 100 emails happened back and forth to organise this group trip and she was always happy to accommodate us and make suggestions that would improve our stay. Big thanks to Penn who so warmly welcomed us to breakfast most mornings, learned my coffee order, and had an uncanny habit of appearing right near our group as soon as any of us had a desire for cocktails. To Maysa for so expertly waiting on our beachside banquet and always stopping to talk with us like a good friend no matter where we saw her on the resort. Also the banquet was incredible, it even had fire twirlers make an appearance. To Zeed for making sure we never had to lift a finger by the pool, making sure we were always relaxed, had fresh towels and for bringing funny banter. Every staff member I saw no matter their job l always made an effort to smile or greet me. My friends even met the General Manager by chance and said he was lovely to them. The resort as a whole exceeded all expectations I had. We stayed in both a pool view suite and a deluxe ocean view during our time, and also visited our friends rooms in a variety of locations and all carried a similar standard of luxury, function and tranquillity. Also had personalised hand written welcome cards, fruit and cute welcome messages written on the mirror. The pool view suites are quite peaceful and though they are further away from the lobby, beach and restaurant, the walk is a lovely stroll. Plus you can often get a friendly staff member to drive you back on a golf cart. Location is great. It's in a part of Chaweng that is very close to, but not completely surrounded by all the liveliness and activity that Chaweng provides. So if you want a peaceful beach or poolside holiday one day, and want a busy night of eating, drinking and dancing the next, you can easily have both. Breakfast buffet was incredible. There's Thai and Indian sections, but also a huge section for stuff like, bacon, eggs, fruit, cereal, pancakes etc. Basically anything you associate with breakfast you will find. Cocktails were lovely. Be sure to follow happy hour around, it's at different times at different pools. I could say a lot more but would be here a while. But if you're tossing up on whether or not you should come here, just trust me and do it. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

If you want to stay right in the middle of the action yet wake up to pure beachfront bliss, Amari Koh Samui is hard to beat. Located in the heart of Chaweng Beach, you’re steps away from the vibrant, bustling energy of Chaweng — restaurants, nightlife, shopping — all within easy reach. But the real star of the show? The private beach. And I say this confidently: it’s arguably the best stretch of sand in the entire Chaweng area. The sand is powdery, the water is clear and calm, and the beachfront setting feels exclusive and beautifully maintained. The sunbeds and beachside seating area are perfect for long, lazy afternoons, and the beachfront bar makes sunset time something to look forward to every day. The arrival experience sets the tone immediately. The lobby is open, airy, and filled with natural daylight. As you walk in, you’re greeted by a sweeping view of the ocean — that instant “I’m officially on holiday” moment. Dining is another highlight. Prego is widely regarded as one of the best Italian restaurants on the island — authentic flavors, excellent pasta, and a lively atmosphere. Amaya Café, the all-day dining venue, offers an impressive international spread, including strong Indian and vegetarian options. Overall, Amari Samui delivers that perfect balance of location, beach quality, dining, and atmosphere. It was truly one of the most memorable holiday experiences we’ve had in Samui.

We had an overall good stay at Amari Koh Samui. The location is great – it’s at the end of Chaweng Beach, so it’s quieter than the very center, but still only a 2–3 minute walk to the main area with restaurants, shops, and nightlife. It’s a nice balance between being close to everything and still enjoying some peace. The room was overall good and comfortable, maybe just a bit on the small side. For some reason, my daughter felt like she was sleeping in a storage-type room – not sure exactly why, but that was her feeling. Still, overall the room itself was fine. At the pool area, service was a bit limited. We didn’t really see staff walking around offering service. However, if you found someone and asked for something, you did get it. So the service was there, just not very proactive. On the positive side, the lobby staff and the bellboy were excellent – very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, a good hotel with a very good location and solid experience.
