The hotel is located quite far from town and feels a bit isolated, so having your own car or transportation is necessary. Upon arrival, there were no security guards to guide us to the parking area, so we had to figure it out ourselves. When entering the lobby, there was only one staff member sitting there, but no greeting or acknowledgment. I had to approach and inform them that I was checking in, and they seemed unsure about the process. I had to wait until another staff member came to assist. The hotel itself is very beautiful, with a lovely landscape. The room is nicely decorated with a good layout, but it feels a bit outdated and could benefit from renovation in the future. Also regret that the beach is not friendly to swim as a lot of scree. Cleanliness needs improvement. Ex. Swimming pool is look green! There was quite a lot of dust in the room, no slippers were provided, and the floor felt sticky when walking. Coffee and tea bags were provided, but there was no kettle. I would also avoid using the bathtub, as there was sand and dirt, and the water turned brown. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options. The Thai food section was especially delicious. Restaurant staff were average, but it’s best to avoid peak times as there are limited tables and the area feels too small for a resort of this size. When we arrived, there were no staff to check our room number or guide us. It felt like a self-service setup, and we had to stand and figure out what to do next or where to sit. I even had to ask other guests if I could share a table. Luckily, I only stayed for one night at this price. I would highly recommend that the management team review and improve the operations, service, and staff training. It’s quite unfortunate because the hotel itself has a beautiful beach and landscape, but overall, it does not meet expected standards. 06/03/2026

The rooms and toilet were lovely, clean and luxurious. We stayed in the section that has the smaller pool- this pool was perfect. The huge pool on the bigger side of the hotel is also very nice but the tiles itself make the pool look dirty even though it’s not. I would only suggest improving the tiles in the big pool. Other than that, everything was great and staff were very attentive. We didn’t mind the location because we rented a car

Firstly, ignore the negative reviews. You can’t please everyone. Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. There were 4 of us and we had two swim up rooms. Rooms were immaculate, I’m immunosuppressed and was worried due to infection risk when I saw some of the other reviews but I had no issues at all. Fresh towels everyday and they provide beach towels too. The staff are incredible and can’t do enough for you, loungers are comfy, pool is clean (the swim up bar pool is the best). We just did bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great. Loved the breakfast room (outdoors) it was set beautifully with a range of options and an egg station where the chef would do omelette, waffles, eggs any style, on demand. There’s a separate part to the hotel across the road that looks like it’s still under construction but it has a badminton court on the roof and a gym as well. Beryls bar is a short walk away and the food there was 10/10. We spent a lot of money on taxis due to the location of the hotel but we knew this beforehand. It’s so peaceful and truly felt like wakening up in paradise every single day! I spent my 30th birthday here and the staff made it out to remember. Thank you. We will be back!

I had an amazing stay here with my fiancée and another couple the island as a whole is one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. Staff were excellent and very respectful any issue or assistance we needed they were there to help, obviously as it’s a secluded hotel with nature all around you for the off bit of debris in the pool but they cleaned it often and THE POOL WAS NOT DIRTY. Any Karen’s on here complaining about this hotel don’t have a clue don’t listen to them. I’ve had one of the best experiences of my life here. Only thing that’s slightly annoying is always having to get a grab but not a major issue TUKTUKS are fun for coming back to resort also BERYLS BAR which is with walking distance is amazing, there’s a good few stray dogs and cats that are on the island but all friendly and treated very well by locals. You’d be mental not to visit

Very disappointing and unsafe experience - stay away This hotel is extremely run down and dirty. We booked 5 rooms. When we arrived, we were given rooms and then moved to other rooms due to the smell of mold and renovations - and in the new rooms each room had a different serious problem. In one room there were exposed electrical wires. In another room, there was no hot water. In one room the toilet wouldn't flush. In another room, there were termites on the bed and their droppings fell on the mattress, which caused me to develop a rash on my chest and shoulders. The towels smelled bad. The swimming pool looked like a frog pond. The dining room was very dirty. The entire hotel is poorly maintained - everything is broken and outdated. The beach bar was the dirtiest I have seen in all 7 times I have visited Thailand. The mattress had brown stains on it. The curtains were stained. The balcony door wouldn't lock. The food was hostel standard at best. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The water dispenser/path near the dining area was full of garbage. Everything is broken, old and not maintained at all. I highly recommend staying away from this hotel.
