My husband and I just spent 3 nights here and it was honestly a 10/10 stay👏 We stayed during low season, meaning we only paid 2500 baht (per night) for a one bedroom villa, roughly quater of the price in high season. The room was huge and had a massive balcony overlooking the trees. I loved the decor, and there were small touches that made it feel really luxurious. Both of the pools were really enjoyable, with incredible views of the ocean. At night, we enjoyed sunset walks along the beach. I always make a point to never eat at resort restaurants, so I can't comment on the food. There are cheap local spots very nearby that we ate at instead. The resort does have free bicycle hire, and you can also rent motorbikes, making it really easy to get around the island. Regarding the wildlife, it was incredible watching birds, squirrels, lizards and monkeys from our balcony. The sound of insects and birds singing is so beautiful and relaxing. I am convinced the people leaving negative reviews about gekos, bugs etc in their rooms have never been to South East Asia before, let alone left the city 😅 To top everything off, all of the staff were amazing! Ruby at the front desk was a complete angel, and really looked after us! She was honestly so sweet, and even offered us a late check out unprompted. We have lived in Thailand for 3 years and have to say this was one of our most memorable stays ☺️

A really lovely resort. Right in a beautiful clean beach with stunning views. A wonderful, large infinity pool, swim up bar. Restaurant and a further bar and grill area (although closed for improvement while we were there in low season. Staff are very attentive and friendly. In low season there appears to be little other restaurants and bars in walking distance. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Our villa was in the jungle area, which was a little dark, the villas closer to the beach look lighter. Some also have an enclosed lounge area that would be preferable in June as we did struggle with insects, but think that may be the time of year.

An absolute slice of paradise! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist hubs and truly unwind, Koh Yao Yai Village is the ultimate destination. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family with their warm Thai hospitality and seamless check-in. The Accommodation: The traditional-style bungalows are stunning, spacious, and impeccably clean, nestled right amidst lush tropical greenery. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a morning coffee on the private terrace was a daily highlight. The Amenities & Views: The infinity pool is breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the stunning limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay. The private beach is peaceful, clean, and the ideal spot to catch a magical sunset. The Dining & Service: The resort restaurants served incredible food, featuring both authentic local Thai dishes and international favorites. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. If you want a tranquil, luxurious, and authentic island getaway, look no further. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!

What a lovely resort! I stayed at the resort for 3nights and it was an incredible experience. The bungalow is clean and well designed with surrounded by green environment. Aircon was great. Breakfast was incredible and dinner was good. I ordered pomelo salad and shrimps twice 😄. We enjoyed the stunning view of the ocean and the swimming pool while we were eating at the restaurant. Staff are incredibly amazing. Their service is high class. I feel like I was on a honeymoon trip there. Highly recommend for green lovers and eco-friendly people.

Beautiful stay at Koh Yao Yai Village. The resort is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully designed. The service is outstanding – every staff member is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being intrusive. A special mention goes to the golf cart drivers: always quick to arrive, extremely friendly, in a good mood, and very respectful. They really make a difference and add to the overall experience. The location is stunning – quiet, right by the sea, perfect for relaxing and switching off. Exactly what you expect from Thailand. Clear 5 stars in every category. Highly recommended.
