We had 2 weeks here in a Pool Villa and it was sensational. The staff are just wonderful and are so friendly and happy to assist with anything. The location is great, right on the beach at Bophut on the north end of Koh Samui and it gets the sun all day which is perfect. The restaurant and main bar look out over the beach and sea views. About 10 minutes walk along the beach is Fishermans Village. The main road outside the resort has restaurants if you want to try local inexpensive food. And there are a couple of convenience stores a short walk away. We had a choice of using the pool in our villa or one of the 3 pools at the resort. One of them is very well set up for families. The food is varied and good value at the restaurant. Happy hour 5 to 6pm with buy one get one free. We had a lot of cocktails! We loved our holiday here and yes we would happily come bak again.

We had a fabulous stay at Bandara Resort - the meals, especially the variety of culturally different choices, were exceptional. The room was wonderful and the amenities at the resort were top class. What really made our stay so memorable and enjoyable were your staff - they are the most beautiful group of people we have ever met - could not fault anyone! From the moment we arrived, to the minute we left they were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Bandara - have already recommended to friends and family! The ONLY thing that I would like to mention is we had the meal package and did not realize we could not use it for lunch on the last day. We assumed we had a full 10 days' worth of meal choices (2 meals/day). Thank you so much for a great holiday. Look forward to staying and seeing you all again.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had 2 rooms which were spacious and had a large connecting balcony. Staff were friendly and kind - we were treated to beautiful flower displays and had cake delivered for room for a birthday and anniversary celebration. My sons attended Muai Thai in the hotel and were impressed with the skill, friendliness and enjoyment of this. Breakfast had a good choice of food and drink, catering well for vegetarians. We loved our stay here and will definitely return 💜

We had an amazing stay at Bandara Resort Koh Samui and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from Fisherman’s Village. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. The food was excellent, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. A special thank you to John and Thiri, who truly made our vacation even more memorable. John took us on a private island tour, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and made sure we enjoyed every moment. His warm personality and local knowledge made the tour one of the highlights of our trip. Thiri was also exceptional. She helped us organize our tours and activities, always with a smile, great patience, and genuine kindness. She went above and beyond to make everything easy and stress-free for us. The entire staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend Bandara Resort to anyone visiting Koh Samui, and we can’t wait to come back!

Title: An honest analysis for Villa guests: Great location, but service needs improvement We recently stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas during the off-season. To be completely honest, there were plenty of other hotels in the exact same area offering similar features for half or even a third of the price. However, we intentionally chose to pay a premium because we wanted a luxury experience and high-end service. Unfortunately, despite paying for a premium stay, we were left deeply disappointed. While the room quality was good and the food (especially the pizza and burgers) was delicious, the resort's service and management fell far short of 5-star standards. Here is an objective breakdown of our experience: Pros: Location: The resort is in a very convenient location in Bophut, within easy walking distance to nearby attractions and local spots. Target Audience: This resort seems ideally suited for families with young children and older demographics looking for a quiet, family-oriented atmosphere. Cons & Areas for Improvement: Not Ideal for Young Couples: For young couples, newlyweds, or travelers in their 30s and 40s seeking a dynamic, premium hospitality experience, this might not be the best fit. We truly hoped this resort would be a place that made us feel the real value of our money, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Service & Staff Attitude: At 10:50 AM, I went to the pool bar and was told to return in 10 minutes. When I came back at 11:30 AM, the female bartender showed a very unwelcoming, moody attitude just for taking a drink order. When guests pay premium rates for luxury, they should feel welcomed, not like a burden to the staff. Communication & Minibar: The staff's English proficiency is highly insufficient for an international resort. Our simple request to have only lemon soda and extra water (no Coca-Cola or Sprite) in the minibar was completely ignored, and they just left whatever they pleased. Housekeeping: Despite our constructive attitude, housekeeping was weak. Changing the beach towels only once every two days in this hot and humid weather is not acceptable. Beach & Sea: The beach area was quite dirty, and the sea water in this specific location was unfortunately not clean during our stay. Breakfast: While the villa-specific breakfast options were decent, the general buffet breakfast was very limited and weak. High standards should be consistent across all areas. In summary, we don't want to completely criticize the property because it has its strengths. However, when you bypass budget-friendly options specifically to buy a "luxury experience," you expect the hospitality to match. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to bring the service quality up to its true potential.
